It’s wonderful to hear someone’s unfiltered thoughts on politics and get a perspective outside of my bubble and it’s also great to listen to Alan ramble about the state of metal. Feels like listening to an old friend.

Love Primordial’s music and enjoy listening to Alan’s stories, interviews and perspectives on the state of the “Stephen King Novel” we have been living in for the past few years. Looking forward to the fabled upcoming Elizabeth Bathory episode.

Great show, binge worthy

On a casual recommendation I started an episode and it became my sole entertainment for a 2 day road trip. Music, politics, philosophy, just some well rounded and thoughtful conversations. One correction: in episode 32, the host relates the removal of President Nixon to the prior years oil crisis. No connection at all, Watergate was the sole reason he was removed from office.

Great new podcast!!

Thanks to Alan Averill for starting this podcast! Couldn’t have come at a better time, and I absolutely recommend this podcast to any Heavy Metal purest, Primordial fan, or if you’ve ever heard (and enjoyed) Alan on an interview before. The podcast is a little more intimate, but this format allows Alan to show another side of his personality and the depth of experiences he shares during each episode is very interesting and engaging. I look forward to future episodes!
