Applies to so much more than graf
It started with an IG ad for a mop. I bought it and was super happy. Never unsubscribed from the mailing list because I liked the nuggets of wisdom. Finally checked out the podcast and it was like an expanded version of the wisdom nuggets in the email list. Super stoked on it!

    Not a podcast about graffiti
The name is deceiving… no tales of adventure and vandalism, even the “beef” episode is meh… if you have an interest in hearing an artist talk about their views and philosophies this is more for you.

    Inspiring
Listening to this podcast really got me fired up about making more art. I’m not a writer, my knees would never hold out to run from anyone! I don’t do graffiti even on a legal platform but it’s a big source of my inspiration for some of my works. Some of the pieces I’ve seen are simply mind blowing in how they are done. It’s always fascinated me and kind of made me dream bigger. This podcast just fueled my fascination and the inspiration I’ve gotten from it, from the culture, from Bus and Kub (RIP dude). Loving watching what Bus is doing with Machine Studio. Thanks for all your realness and rawness and really sharing your hearts on this podcast.

    Asset to the culture
This podcast is one to regularly listen to. There are discussions that are much needed within the culture of graff. They shed light on things that aren’t really talked about. Life issues/ topics inside and out of the graff game. A podcast like this is an asset for growth within our community.

    Context Wins
The context of your podcast just blows me away. The way you translate mindset concepts into the perspective of a writer/artist is super dope.

    A must for graff heads
This podcast is as insightful and entertaining as a graff podcast can be. I’ll be listening to every episode for sure.

    LIFE CHANGING
I recently got into the podcast and have been crushing through the episodes, I cant that the hosts enough for the wisdom and for sharing! RIP Kub. Ive been on a whole new path since listening, i already feel so much better about my approach and outlook on SO many things, i truly feel like a better man and have these guys to thank! I love what they are doing and love to hear about the continued struggle with things as it makes things more relatable and it really hit home for me. I really hope Bus 166 continues on and again just cant thank them enough for the podcast and all their contributions. Its actually refreshing to hear a "graffiti podcast" that most of the times isnt graft stuff at all, but definitely appreciate the reference back to it in their scenarios! Again im already having a whole new look on things, even down to the a hole that cuts you offin traffic and looking at it now and remaining calm and not letting it get to me or ruin my day. THANKS YOU GUYS AGAIN!!!

    Dope Podcast
I need to leave a review because, I’m an artist who has struggled to find a podcast that can help me with understanding more about the life as an artist. I been looking for months and then I ran into these guys dope podcast who openly talk about topics that correlate with life and being an artist, that’s awesome! These are topics that are important especially through our journey as artists and it’s awesome to see some awareness regarding self-growth and how to view things in different perspectives to develop a more open mindset. Highly recommended! Keep up the dope work! -Kimmeh

    Newbie
Hey guys I’ve enjoyed listening. I’m a painter and have always admired graffiti and street art. I’m trying to bring this into my fine art. I would live to hear more advice on the actual process of the art you make and your processes. Thanks guys.

    Almost about graffiti
You guys are from 2 of the most famous crews in graffiti yet you relate none of the things that occurs in your crews or with the famous writers you know. The constant pussyfooting around names, and experiences leaves the discussion concepts empty. Your conversations are high level without applying actual anecdotes makes for a boring listen. The best episodes you have done are with interviews because they relate actual names with stories. You need to give the people what they want. This means actual tidbits about how the highest level crews work and how they have evolved while using names, which correlate with your discussion topic. I don’t listen to a graffiti podcast to learn about tag->throw->bomb-> burner and so on or how running a biz is somewhat close to a crew. “Show the customer don’t tell the customer.” You need a bit of gossip and naughty here, it’s graffiti. Graffstars has done a good job as a podcast cuz they tell real stories with real experiences of famous writers.
