    You make me laugh
Great podcast. Thanks you for the breakdown and making this interesting. You are both great.

A different perspective on reality podcasts
It’s a straight recap and commentary which I don’t think any other pod is doing in this space/show. I like them both and I just like the different vibe of this podcast. Keep up the good work

    Great podcast
    Love these 2.

    Good Recap Podcast
Solid recap of the couples’ drama with some nice insight and entertaining conversations. Wish the hosts would put their phones on DND or move them off of the same table as the podcasting equipment. The audible vibrations every time someone gets a text are really distracting.

    Jesus Is My Plug
Love you guys. I’m listening to the latest episode and you don’t know what Blaine’s shirt means. A plug is a person who can get hard to find things which normally are drugs. Idk how that ties in to Jesus but just wanted to let you guys know that

    Jesus is my plug
a plug is your drug dealer. Blaine’s shirt is a play on that. It’s corny but it makes sense lol

Love their Love After Lockup recaps!
Smart, funny with the right amount of snark. Right up my alley.

I think he may be thinking of Sara’s mom of Sara & Sean with Aunt Tina

    Constructive Criticism
Hey so I don’t know if the hosts actually see these reviews but if they do here goes: These two are smart and do a decent job recapping the show. I take them for who they are and respect that they are educators. However, they have a more serious approach than most other reviewers. They don’t find much humor/fun in LAL. They seem nice but just aren’t that fun to listen to. LAL is a trashy reality show and what makes reviews enjoyable is the jokes and humor. They review this show like it’s a serious drama or historical film not a scripted reality show not to be taken too seriously. I wish they would lighten up some and find the humor and laughs in it. I think they would be way more entertaining if they attempted to be less serious and just laugh at the show sometimes.

    Love the energy
I just started my LDL journey and damnit I wish I started long ago. This is wild!

    Bye
Listen I know most of the world doesn’t agree with me; but it was disgusting that Ms.H and Mr. O talked about puppy potentially getting an abortion so nonchalantly.

    good listen
fun to listen to while driving!

    Miss H….
Miss H is unbearable. So out of touch with reality it makes me cringe.

    Stop saying “like” 😣
I am always looking for new podcasts and started listening but I can’t get past how many times he says “like”! Had to unfollow!

    Good summaries and banter
As a fellow teacher, I feel like I’m having a discussion with my friends when listening to this duo. It’s tough to find a good recap show for Love After Lockup and this show does the job. Keep up the good work!

    Train wreck TV
I started binging this pod on a road trip when I couldn’t watch my new episodes of LAL. What a great show! Love the student of the week and the dunce of the week 😂 Keep em coming!

    Mr O
Mr. O stammers and stutters and rarely completes a thought or sentence. I lost count after 279 times that Mr. O says the word “like”
  • ChandlersAGirl
Do they even know what they are talking about?
I've been trying so hard to stay with and like this podcast. After listening to this last episode I am just annoyed. I understand the male had never seen Amber/Vince. The woman has and she knew nothing! Refresh yourself please because almost you said was not factual based on the show!
  • Amminafla
    Very entertaining!
I love this podcast! The hosts have great chemistry, I like the way they break down each segment and discuss what happened and offer their opinions. I look forward to it each week.
  • swissavion
    Boring Boring Boring!
Not the podcast for me, there are a few other podcasts on the show so I will be sticking with those.
  • bcubs82
    Ok
So I like them and most of what they say is entertaining. I have been listening to the older ones and a little disappointed in how they talk about the Mormon religion. They don’t come out and say bad things but they talk about it like it is a brain washing cult. Like Nila and Tennason couldn’t possibly be happy and must be forced. Just food for thought on how you word things. Stop with your own politics.... no one wants to know

Quit looking for racism in EVERYTHING.
I love this podcast. They do a great job. They have NEVER come off as racist ever. They don’t sympathize more with any show then another. You’re paranoid. Enjoy a podcast and quit looking for racism where it’s not!

    Awesome Show
I really enjoy the show. They give a concise recap but also throw in their own thoughts. The podcast hits that balance of being informed but not too long. Keep up the great work.

    Teachers?
The content and viewpoints expressed are both interesting. The mind-numbing rate of “like” as a filler is off-putting.

    First and last time listener
Last episode where you talked about Ross reeked of privilege. You cannot talk about police brutality as if it doesn’t exist in this current climate.
  • bobbyfrank12
    Yeah No
I have been listening to this podcast for a few months now and usually enjoy it however this latest episode made me so uncomfortable as a black person listening. No, I don't like Ross and he could be a liar but yes, the police can and will beat you up and press charges on you for assault. They can do much worse with no consequences. Partly for the reasons y'all described. He's a felon so who is going to believe him. Even the larger conversation you guys had about how "defensive" people behave around police because they "probably have something". The whole conversation lacked any nuances and just felt like two white people who have most likely never experienced first hand negative interactions with the police talking about what they think the police are like. It was also lacked self-awareness with everything going on with police brutality as a MAJOR issue. Felons also experience an enormous about of prejudice from the police, who view them as lesser and easy targets. I usually listen to this podcast for entertainment and fun but the latest episode really left a bad taste in my mouth and I feel that you guys should reflect on your thoughts about the police and their power not only over minorites but also felons. And also your prejudices against felons as whole.
  • April_addrena
    Good
Love the show. If you read this, please consider self-reflecting on your privilege when you talk about interactions with the police. You said something to the effect of “the police don’t search your car for no reason.” Please consider the perspectives for experiences of black and brown people. Please consider how your skin tone (and other factors) may have impacted your experience of law enforcement. (p.s. I know this is all entertainment, but you sounded like you we’re making a serious point.) Great job with the show.

    Love!
Love these two bantering back and forth! You keep me going through long days! 5 stars
  • BenitosMom
    Judge-y
I like their 90 day podcast but they are much more sympathetic to the 90 day folx versus the LALU ones. It’s this constant, “Well that’s what you get for dating someone in pRiSoN!” Overall I’m pretty disappointed. Humans are so much more complex and deserve respect even if they have made bad choices or suffer from addiction. I was hoping for a more open minded discussion.
  • Valerie5740
    I’m really enjoying this podcast!
They bring lots of fun insight and analysis!

The kindergarten version of Kim and Kyle
They’re too vanilla, wont be salacious enough themselves. Juiceless. Bland.

    Black talk
I gave the host the chance to clear up the “black talk” comment but they actually doubled down. They explained that the racist term is ok to use because African American English aka black talk exist in linguistic study. Speech (code switching or not) is regional not racial. To subscribe a type of speech to an entire ethnic group is saying the entire ethnic group speaks this way. Its sad to see how anyone can’t see how improbable and yes, racist that is.
  • MBMeeka
Thought they were better than that!
I started listening and really liked it until they said “Sara used black talk” they both laughed and finished talking about the show review. Two teachers in 2020 still making racial remarks. What exactly is “black talk” as a very educated black female who doesn’t speak “black” please let me know what that is? Unsubscribing from both of their podcasts. Silly for me to think two white teachers in 2020 would be better educated when using describing words. Racism still exist in many different levels and forms. Thought they were better than that.
