A great way to listen to stories

Well-chosen stories that are beautifully read. Robert selects pieces that I would not have chosen myself, but that I definitely enjoy. I also appreciate the occasional kid-friendly selections such as Velveteen Rabbit and Alice in Wonderland; my six-year-old loves to listen to them, too. Thank you, Robert!

I’m a huge fan of Robert’s InDeepGeek YouTube channel. This is fantastic and he has the perfect voice for storytelling.

I have been a huge fan of Robert’s Game of Thrones content for years now which lead me to this podcast of his. It’s spectacular just like all his stuff. The books are so great to hear on audio. Bring new life to well loved classics. And I HIGHLY recommend if you are a GOT fan that you listen to his you tube channel. It’s my secret obsession 😆 -Wynter Ashara- ✨

I’ve been a fan of Robert’s for the last 2+ years, having found his YouTube content while I was searching for more discussion and content on Martin’s ASOIAF. His YouTube content is incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in in-depth discussion of the deeper worlds of science fiction and fantasy. But THIS, this is about A Well-Told Tale. Robert is not only well-read and great at narrating stories, he selects the best stories in the genres that have ever been written. Classics that transcend generations. I’m incredibly busy, so I don’t get a chance to read myself unless it’s something academic. Robert’s narrations let me enjoy these stories that I haven’t been able to go back to in a way that’s engaging and enjoyable. Please give these stories a chance if you have been putting them off, please enjoy Robert’s fantastic narration, and please make sure you check out everything else he has to offer with In Deep Geek!!!

Such a calming voice. I am subscribed to both of his YouTube channels , he constantly releases great content. This podcast is great of you are looking to relax (or quiet your thoughts at night ). 5 stars!

Love this guy and his soothing voice read some of the best Sci Fi books available. I’ve followed him on Youtube for years He’s just getting started on the podcast. Can’t wait to see what he covers next.

If you love classic fantasy and sci-fi, it doesn’t get any better than this. Each tale is carefully chosen and the narration is superb. Robert’s voice is not only pleasant, he makes each story come alive. I could not recommend this podcast more highly.

The Well Told Tale has quickly become my favorite way to listen to stories! Roberts’s cadence and timing are perfect and his delivery is simultaneously captivating and relaxing.
