I had brother day as my seminary teacher last year and he is the best teacher ever. I listened to his podcast over the summer while I didn’t have seminary, and I’ve listened to it ever since because it is the best! Thank you Brother Day! (Brother Dunford is awesome too) Highly recommend this podcast and I wish I still had brother day as my seminary teacher.

I have been listening to this weekly spiritual pick me up for over a year. I love the insights and a chance to focus on the Savior in my everyday life.

You guys have had some great informative podcasts in the past, but last week I had to shut it off because I could not stand the raised voice, the “people should”, and the descriptions of what people do wrong. Soft gentle invitations would be better than a lecture. I don’t know if I will be brave enough to listen again.

This podcast is phenomenal! I will often send it to many of my friends as an episode totally changes my perspective on the gospel! I understand that it isn’t the direct stance of the church and yet I know truth when I hear it. Many times when I am struggling with something, as I listen to the podcast I hear that one thing that helps me through. Other times I learn things that cause an epiphany! Entertaining, enlightening and educational!

This podcast has changed my life. I can’t thank you guys enough. The pattern for me is- read the scriptures, listen to the podcast. Read them again, listen to the podcast again, read them again, and again and again. How I have obtained greater tenderness for the Savior and all the scriptures through that pattern. Our Father in heaven loves us so!

Mike and Bryce do an incredible job of outlining several different ways we could read the texts, as well as make parallels to other texts tying symbols, motifs, and lessons together. The historical contexts, ways of understanding the different potential linguistic interpretations, make this such an enlightening discussion to follow along with. I absolutely love listening to this podcast every Wednesday and add it as a supplement to my personal study

I have often felt I would have loved to live in the days when the Lord had a “ school of the prophets “…… Dream come true! However, it’s 4:30 in the morning , I’m snuggled in with a blanket, ear pierce, and of course my writing tablet. Thank you brethren! Your last names may not be “Pratt” but I’m sure you go “shoeless” from time to time as did brother Pratt! 😀😀😀

How do they do it?? How do they consistently put out the best content. Every episode I am floored by what they teach me and I’ve been a member all my life. They make the scriptures come alive, they help me apply what I’m learning, and they make scripture study so incredibly interesting!!! Context and application is everything and I get that here. I teach seminary and look forward to every episode with a hunger. Wish I could have had these guys for teachers during my seminary and institute years! A million stars.

I never miss these episodes. Excellent information, more clarity of the scriptures for me and so enjoyable to listen to Mike and Bryce. Thank you for all you do for us!

New follower of the podcast. Saw Mike Day on YouTube and ended up here. Finished out the New Testament and actually have gone back to listen to Old Testement episodes! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every episode so far and have gained many new insights. I love how they connect all of the scriptures together and demonstrate how Jesus is at the center of them all.

I like how their podcasts feel as though I was engaged in a one on one conversation, rather than sitting in a classroom. I like the historical perspectives and explanation of ancient culture that adds understanding to the words, analogies and context of the scriptures. I also enjoy the personal stories and testimonies shared. My favorite.

I’m a new listener, but I love the stories and the pictures they paint with their words. Great for any listener!

I find this thought provoking. Sometimes wander too much “in the weeds,” but good. The website associated with the podcast is not great. They talk about the show notes all the time. Sometimes you can get to them, but at others (for example the podcasts of the book of Revelation) the “links” only take you to the YouTube version of the podcast.

I listen to this weekly to help me understand come follow me and help me teach my Sunday school classes, excellent job with so many insights and spirit filled!!

Mike, I love finding out the cultural context, and what all the elements of the time period, it helps me to understand what’s going on. Then Bryce brings in all the spiritual part, that I feel the spirit on all the stories that are told. I really wish I could have listened to these as I was growing up. Ive listened to the last two years, and just love these podcasts! Please don’t stop, you are both so inspiring to me, and all those I refer to listen to you two! I started coming back to church. And I’ve been trying to find uplifting things to listen to. Your fine follow me lessons have been amazing. The lesson on the parables especially of the prodigal son impacted me the most. I appreciate your lessons and hopefully you will continue.

I was looking for a podcast that would read through the scriptures I didn’t read the summary but just looked quickly at the content and started listening as I walked the dog it took only a few minutes to realize it was a Mormon podcast- had to stop and delete off my phone- they should be upfront that his is a Mormon podcast in the title- feel like it was trickery - can’t give zero stars -

Thanks to these two gentlemen, I am finally able to understand the scriptures better than ever. They provide the depth I need and want. The duo working together in their strengths and paring the together makes their podcasts supreme. Thank you!

I cannot tell you what a missionary tool this has been for me! My non member friends ask me questions and write their own notes. Also, for my grandchildren who struggle with how to dating. In the June 4th episode - I realize eventually you share a parallel story about Star Wars, but before you mention the movie’s name - I was 100% certain you were talking about Harry Potter. Listen again, and see if what you say doesn’t also tell the story of the wizard boy Harry. Thought that was funny.

This podcast is the best Come Follow Me podcast out there. Better than any of the BYU professors I’ve had. There are so many podcasts out there by members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that frequently teach false principles due to honest misunderstandings of the doctrine. These guys have their buckets straight and teach more than just the scriptures, but the history of the scriptures that really enhance them and bring more meaning. They rarely ever miss the mark.
