One of the Top 3 Author biz podcasts!
Thank you Lindsey, Joe and Andrea!! Every episode is packed with insights and helpful tips. I really appreciate you coming back every few months with an update or craft episode. Thank you for all the helpful information and openness about your writing life. (The others in my top 3 podcasts would be The Creative Penn and Self Publishing Formula.)

    Interesting, but talking time unbalanced
Really interesting podcast. I enjoy it, but wish all 3 hosts had equal talking time.

    Loving the author life topics!
I’ve been a regular listener for a while, and I’ve been enjoying the recent author life challenge topics. The one on burnout was particularly helpful, and who doesn’t love Becca Syme? I also have new motivation to start selling more direct. Thanks for an awesome show!

    My favorite podcast
This is my go to podcast when I’m in the car. The insights and the information they share on a weekly basis are priceless. Thank you so much!

    Tune in faithfully
Really enjoy the show. Find gems in almost every episode. Really like Lindsey and Joe. I grit my teeth through Sarah’s portions. Can only listen to her complain about her “crazy life” so much. And when she talks about how easy writing romance is and disparages an entire genre that has made six figure authors out of hundreds of self published authors, I roll my eyes and fast forward to the good stuff from Lindsey and Joe.

I have no idea about the book that industry. But I learn terms, styles, research tips from successful writers. They have fun, too!

    Highly Recommended!
I started listening to this podcast because of Lindsay. I have read 28 of her books and I love the Emperor’s Edge series. The podcast has helped me understand how self-publishing has changed in the last 10 years. I highly recommend it to new and established writers.

    Fantastic information
Multi-genre, industry-wide, informative podcast with a wealth of information for indie authors. Can’t get enuff of these three self-deprecating, extremely modest, but amazing authors who are killing it out there. Keep the interviews and insight coming, please.

    The best indie author podcast
I've been listening to Lindsay and Joe (and their present and past co-hosts) for years. They are an indespendible font of knowledge about the craft and business of indie publishing. I feel like they're my trusted friends and my peers, always there to offer the kind and honest advice. They're asolutely the best!

    Great podcast. Really enjoyed it.

    Great!
This trio of seasoned authors give great advice and share their experience as indie authors. They also have guests from the industry on to share their perspectives too. One thing that’s really great about them is that they’ve already experienced success, but they’re still eager to learn as things change so they can stay dynamic and poised to continue their success. And they’re sharing it here for free for our benefit! They seem really personable too, which makes listening fun!

Great practical advice from seasoned professionals

    Listen every week
This always has great information. A lot of it I don’t use, but I’m tucking it away, making mental (sometimes physical) notes as I strive towards becoming a six figure author myself.
  • Cheesed off big time.
    Great, reliable, fun, believable.
The self pub industry is both simple and complicated at the same time. These people cut right through it with hands on experience! I followed them when they were the Sci Fi and Fantasy Marketing Podcast and was sad to see them go on indefinite hiatus. When they returned as Six Figure Authors I was on the moon! They’re just as great in this iteration and I highly recommend them for anyone interested in self publishing!

High Quality Advice from Experienced Authors
I was sad when Lindsay and Joe’s previous podcast discontinued, but Six Figure Authors is even better. I like how all three hosts bring in a nice variety of experiences, and the selection of guests has been consistently solid. I never miss an episode.

Down to Earth & Super Helpful
I came across this podcast just a couple of weeks ago via the Self Publishing Show podcast with Mark Dawson and James Blatch. I heard James interviewing Lindsay there and then Mark came on and endorsed this podcast. Since then, I've been flying through every single episode on my morning walks. The info is great for people who're already somewhat familiar with the writing and indie publishing world. The info that's on this podcast is designed to help authors get to the next level. Super glad to have come across this podcast and hope to be able to actually apply everything I'm learning!
  • jeziah
    Down to earth, straightforward, practical
I’ve written my first book and working on my second. A lot of the content is great for me because I’d love to write full time and these guys have been through the gamut and they’re willing to share their experience so we can learn from them. Worth listening. Love that they have robust notes. Would love to see the notes on their web site when I only have time to listen. This is great for doing dishes and mowing the lawn, but sometimes in just want the summary so I can get back to writing.

    Much needed podcast
As an author with five published books, I struggle to find information that isn’t the same author 101 stuff I hear everywhere. There is a lack of advice for authors wanting to take their career to the next level. Six Figure Authors fills this void from three unique perspectives.
  • aizjanika
One of the Best Writing Podcasts
The hosts have a lot of insights and ideas. They focus a lot on marketing, but they have productivity tips as well. They also tend to be down to earth and not sweat the small stuff or even sometimes the medium-size or big stuff. I loved the former podcast that Lindsay Buroker and Jo Lallo were on (miss Jeff!), but Andrea is a great addition. She has a lot of energy and I enjoy hearing her perspective. Lindsay and Jo have so much experience and wisdom to share. My favorite episodes are when it’s just the three of them or they interview each other if one of them has something unique or special or insightful to share. When they do interviews, they don’t ask all the same questions, and their conversational tone seems to bring things out that you don’t always hear elsewhere. Overall, a really good podcast, well worth listening to, no fluff or filler, although the hosts are personable and fun to listen to.

    Great Content
I listen to a lot of writing podcasts. So happy I found this one. Nothing but good content on marketing without any fluff.

Great Information Presented in an Easy Format
This is a great podcast for someone like me who is midway through their first book and needs to know what to expect as I get closer to editing and publishing. There are both high-level beginner type topics and advanced talks on marketing and distribution. I look forward to each new episode! Thanks for putting this great content together!

Great Information from 3 Authors in the Trenches
What is great about this podcast is that the 3 hosts are all authors who have multiple books out and make a living from them. They share honest advice and seem to really want to help us. This transparency is refreshing. Since it is a new podcast, it is a bit clumsy at times with awkward pauses, and that is the only reason for the 4 stars. That will most likely improve as the 3 hosts get more used to each other and the format. The information is great, and they are all super nice and knowledgeable. So really—4.5 :)
  • Irishbull81
One of my TOP FIVE PODCAST PICKS!
I am in love with the new podcast that was created after the SFF podcast ended. So much great information from these hosts. I can absolutely depend on their weekly episodes to be chalk full of so much information to absorb from which I can learn and become a better author and marketer. I implore every author who wants to take their career to the next level to listen and learn from this show. I am so happy to have these knowledgeable voices back.
  • SaltLifeLW
    This is so money!
I was a huge fan of Lyndsay and Jo’s sci-fi and fantasy marketing podcast, so I was thrilled to find this. Andrea is a great addition. This is a must listen for authors serious about their career. So much valuable info in each episode!

    Loving The Podcast!
I am thrilled to have a new podcast on indie publishing. As a 6 figure romance author myself it is wonderful to have a podcast focusing on topics that interest me. Marketing, productivity, creativity and taking it up a notch. I'm excited to see what is coming. Sadly many of my favorite podcast have gone away and it's been hard finding good ones lately. I've enjoyed the first 7 episodes and looking forward to hopefully many, many, many more!

    Great Podcasts For Indie Authors!
Love how focused and knowledgeable the authors are on this podcast. They get right down to business and thoroughly discuss the topics. I just recently found the old podcast two of the authors had going for a few years. Well, after binging the podcast, I got to the point where they said they were taking a break. I was sad because I really enjoyed the specific insights the writers provided, and I liked how focused on topic the episodes were. I am SO excited that these guys have a new podcast! Thanks for giving us newbies such great info about the indie writing business!
