Show offers marginal wagering content. But the entertainment value rarely disappoints. Always good for some laughs

I was a long time listener but the last two years have gone downhill. It’s turned into more of Kelly yelling about her social life and then the both of them talking about their friends, (you guys seriously need to adjust her mic to balance out John’s). Another reason is that they make way too many political comments on the show. A few here and there are no big deal, but it’s gotten old. I couldn’t care less about anyone’s political views, no matter what side of the aisle you’re on. I get enough of that from TV and social media. I don’t need my sports podcasts to talk about that. There’s too many other sports betting podcasts out there than for me to listen to one that has turned into an annoyance.

I’m not a guy that writes reviews—whether good or bad—but I felt compelled. Kelly and Murray are thoroughly enjoyable. I love this podcast. They have incredible chemistry or rapport or whatever you want to call it. Even though Kelly hates the Irish (I had to) I’m so glad they’re back! Please keep this pod rolling for a long time.

Used to really enjoy this show and thought that the Kelly and Murray banter was fun and somewhat endearing, but Kelly’s whining about basically everything has gotten to be too much to endure. I usually appreciate a good bit, but most long-running bits need to be retired at some point and the ones perpetuated on this show have gotten stale. Was initially excited when it was announced that the show was coming back, but these first few episodes now have me feeling otherwise. Miss the days of JM being on “Behind the Bets” w/DK, at least that show had plenty of Seinfeld references.

Very entertaining podcast, glad Kelly and Murray are back! Would like more stories about behind the scenes at the SuperBook!

Awesome news just in time for ball sports season. Hilarious duo with great chemistry. I’ll put up with the low grade right wing stuff for this quality of banter and John Murray sex appeal.

A Curmudgeon sports-book director and contrarian from the little Apple in Kansas provide an quality show packed with ‘nothing topics’ for the common man and valuable pearls for sports betting investors and weekend duffers. The intelligentsia for listeners can prove to be indispensable in making informed wagering in the sports betting market. JM and KIV make the hour enjoyable with incessant sarcasm and endless banter through the sphere of discussion. Highly recommend. Everything above still applies just think Godfather/Godfather II not Caddyshack Caddyshack II. First episode of this sequel was awesome.

Despite John Murray’s best efforts to push for 3 star reviews, I’m changing my review to 5 stars. I met Kelly, John and Patrick during day 1 of March Madness and they were absolutely awesome! They gave me losing bet after losing bet, yet spiked seltzer after spiked seltzer. But seriously, fantastic podcast that I highly recommend to all sports and gambling fans! -Danny Dimes

Leaving four stars instead of five to make John Murray happy. Only thing I’d recommend is that the intern leave a recap of what each episode will be covering.

I like the show, I like learning about how to bet smarter, and I even enjoy banter. But in the end what is the point of the show if it never shares picks? Every recap show you hear about picks sent to everyone but never to the listeners! I don’t get it. All it does it shows you’re only doing this show for the paycheck and it is starting to affect the show in a negative way

I enjoy podcast and learned a lot.

Honestly love the show. Kelly is awesome and her blunt don’t give a F attitude clashing with PC Principal JM while he secretly agrees with her never stops being fun. I was going to leave 4 stars as a real rating, but up’d it to 5 stars just to piss off John Murray.

Minus 0.75 star for the 1:23 minute intro, it seems too long for a ~50min podcast. Minus 0.5 star for random chit chat. It's good for a few good laughs, but it doesn't help with winning bets ;) Overall, you'll learn some good betting skills, sportsbook info, and get some free winning plays. Add it to your playlist, it's worth the time.

First, Murray this is a real 5 star review (and Kelly’s gotta get paid). I enjoy sharing your sports wisdom and the fact that kicking is for losers with my 10yr old son. We need to continue educate the youth of America on the fact that kicking is for losers. I do have a question and would love to hear your thoughts on taking advantage of “odds boosts” offered on various betting apps. While rare, there are times where there is an opportunity to bet the odds boost on one app and the other side on another app for a guaranteed small profit. John Murray, don’t discredit my review please. This podcast is the one I consistently refresh my Apple podcasts app for every week. I listen to probably ten or so sports related podcasts weekly, specifically related to betting & K&M take the cake. So many podcasts try to garner your attention by giving out “locks” and plays of that variety but K&M do a fantastic job of just going over the upcoming board and reviewing it from an opinion based standpoint, analytical standpoint & from a sportsbook perspective which is what I think really elevates them above everyone else. Their personalities blend perfectly & for a KState fan, Kelly isn’t too bad haha. I love listening to gather what “the book needs to happen” to make sure they have a good week so that I can keep those games off my betslip, because the book always wins.

If you want to listen to MAGA diehards who won’t accept that Biden won the election this is your podcast. One of them seems to hate sports(hates the NFL, mockingly calls it Refball) and the other one comes across as a degen who chased action by betting madden sims. If you want advise from a chaser might as well listen to Vegas Dave. Would have a similar ROI.

Love the behind the counter insight. Plus it sounds like they’re both anti-woke which is awesome.

Murray’s gambling insights and Kelly’s sassy comments make this pod a must listen each week. As an older guy, I love the All in the Family intro, the Sinatra outro and look forward to Murray’s Seinfeld references. As a lover of gambling and fine dining, Kelly’s nightly dining choices feels like a tour of the Vegas restaurant scene. I feel like I get “closing line value’ with this pod each week. Keep it up.

Kelly and Murray are the perfect pair for hosting a podcast. Listeners of this show get a great perspective of the ins and outs of sports betting and bookmaking operations. The show is entertaining with the back and forth banter and it’s always hilarious when John brings up scenarios from the past weekend when coaches opted to kick for field goals. Can’t wait for Covid to be over so i can get back to the super book and place some more bets.

I had only listened to John Murray in the behind the bets podcast where he has to be more PC. When he mentioned he had another podcast with KIV I started listening to this podcast for his advice on the sharp money. I have to say I love the unfiltered version on John Murray way more. I had also heard of KIV from the Showtime special on sports betting. I liked her story on how she rose to fame and enjoy her teaser picks.

Love you guys. But. You can tell John is old money. He never mentions his money and never big time’s anything. Kelly is the opposite she is new money. Brags about her big bets ,buys houses in Florida, name drops and tells us about going to big time restaurants. Old money never says anything ( John) New money brags ( Kelly). Love the show but it’s just a review.

Per John Murray’s request, a real review. I enjoy almost every aspect of this show. Length, stories, personalities of both KIV and Mr. Murray, and of course the banter between you two. As a recreational better who lives and works in Las Vegas it is great to have insight into the sports betting world from the better and behind the counter perspective. For example, learning about closing line value, teasers, middling the number, etc. I refuse to bet at certain locations in town (stations, WH, etc.) because the prices are so bad compared to Westgate and Circa (something you guys taught me). One thing I would recommend is that John Murray finishes more stories he starts to tell during the show but then gets cut off by KIV. Additionally it’d be cool to have more than two episodes a week. In closing, as a mid 30’s male, it’s nice to laugh out loud while you guys make Always Sunny and South Park references and share funny college stories while also sharing unbiased sports betting knowledge that I can’t find anywhere else. Merry Christmas to the both of you and may 2021 be mask-less ASAP. Dave R

Just started listening to the show and I enjoy it. It’s nice to get a perspective from a gambler, as well as someone that actually works at a sports book and can give you advice on when to take the points or lay them. This is coming off the weekend where I had over 69.5 in the Mac championship and 56 points were scored in the first half only to have 10 scored in the second half. Pain.

I do feel the information provided is very good, I really like the view from behind the counter from Murray and Kelly represents gambler’s emotions perfectly. As good as the information presented each podcast, the banter between the hosts are what I enjoy the most. What this podcast really shows are two people who have a great relationship, how friends used to banter when people actually talked to each other before technology took over.

However, I think John Murray should withhold the picks he gives Kelly until she watches a Liverpool match with him. She can thank us later when she learns to appreciate a real brand of futbol! We can go anywhere for “opinions” but we get both sides of the counter here as well as great banter back and forth from what you can assume are good friends. We can get picks anywhere, but to have that plus sharp action, opinions from our side of the counter and hilarious banter, why go anywhere else?

Don’t listen to many pods, but Kelly & Murray is can’t miss. Between the knowledge that’s provided about the ins & outs of sports betting from both sides of the window to KIV & John’s back & forth bickering, it makes for a great listen. Although I was curious with this season’s intro, when did KIV become a ‘Woo’ girl? Cheers!
