Great podcast for parents. Helpful advice mixed with self-deprecating humor. Listening to these two makes me feel like a more competent dad and inspires me to be a little better every day.

I just love listening to the Dumb Dads, it’s refreshing and realistic and downright funny. The escapades of being a “dumb” parent are refreshing. It’s nice to hear that we’re all a little stupid, and that’s okay. It’s so much better than another self help program where you are being pushed to an unrealistic standard. Wish I could make it to the live shows, have fun!

Kyle and Evan are true modern dads. Like more and more of us, they do it all… making appointments, consoling, bedtime routine, etc… all while doing what dads do best and messing up along the way. The retrospective look at their “fails” as fathers while laughing and learning from them is so relatable. Generally men don’t share their feelings and fears with each other, so it’s refreshing to hear other men have similar issues and thoughts. They each have a great perspective, and even the moments where they’re vulnerable and not trying to get a laugh are insightful and sometimes enlightening. The comedic lens that place on fatherhood is something I look forward to weekly. My name is T, and in a dumb dad.

This show reminds us all that you’re not the only one that makes mistakes. I’m writing this review as I sit next to the bathtub in my parents’ apartment with my 2 and 4 year old. As an example of what to expect on this show, here is my dumb dad moment of the week: They were playing nicely together about ten minutes ago, when I heard a low grumbling noise. I assumed the four year old pushed the button to activate the spa jets. I pushed it again to turn it off. The noise amplified and I realized to my horror that the previous sound was actually from a loosened drain plug and I had just turned the jets on myself. But it was too late. The water jets sprayed everywhere and both kids immediately erupted in tears. Mom showed up just in time to witness my failure and start the process of calming them down. In conclusion: if you’re a dumb dad too, join the club.

Relatable in every aspect. Look forward to each new episode to make sure I’m not the only dummy out here. 🤣

It’s always nice to have a reminder that most parents make at least one really stupid parenting-adjacent mistake each week. And it’s good we can laugh about it, especially if it doesn’t result in a trip to the ER or 3+ trips to Home Depot.

Love to hear a podcast that is both very realistic about parenting but doesn’t involve whining about your kids all the time - you both clearly love your kids and think they’re wonderful and yet they sometimes drive you nuts. Incredibly relatable. Also, 100% agree, Dr. Kevin - gotta let those low-grade fevers burn!

Being a dumb dad is a badge of honor. Simply being able to have grace for yourself and laugh at silly mistakes makes us better parents. Kevin and Evan are excellent storytellers and truly funny guys. This is one of my favorite podcast to catch up on, I feel so out of place when I miss an episode. As a fairly new dad myself you guys are so relatable & funny. So many of the things you two experience I’m yelling to myself “yes somebody gets me” Keep up the great work you do as dads, husbands & podcasters.

The only non-true crime podcast I listen to. A great source of levity for the seemingly endless dumb parenting moments my husband and I run into every week.

Easily a favorite podcast of mine now and for as long as they make it, Evan and Kevin are great. They highlight the highs and lows of parenting with laughs in a very real, but respectful way. 10/10 recommend for all dads and parents!

My wife tries to get me to listen to serious, emotionally heavy parenting podcasts like um, “Bad outsides with Dr. Firstname,” that make me feel like a schmuck for telling my kids “good job.” The heck with that! These guys give me some chuckles and talk about the same things! Plus trips to the hardware store!

I just started listening to this podcast after hearing you guys on “I love my kid, but…” and I gotta say I’m so glad I decided to listen. I laugh constantly during each episode & enjoy listening to your stories and dumb dad moments. I love how real you are and you don’t paint parenting to be some perfect fairytale. They make me laugh! My kids are grown, but listening to your stories brings back so many good memories. One of you guys mentioned that someone said “wait till they’re teenagers.“ My sister is 13 years older than I am and had kids before I did. When I was having babies she used to always say “just wait till they’re older.” My firstborn was colicky, and I was having a hard time liking her so I didn’t need that advice. Haha. All that to say, just enjoy your kids! It sounds to me like you’re both doing a great job. Yes, parenting teenagers is hard. But parenting little ones is hard too. Just in a different way. I love your IG stuff!

Honest yet upbeat attitudes about raising kids. I super appreciate it. I’m listening to it constantly around the house (especially right now when we’re switching bedrooms around, not a nightmare at all). I’m pretty far back into the archives, so if you could bump the frequency up to daily, then I might make it all the way through the summer. Thanks, dummies. 😉

Mother of a 10 month old here and roommate to a Dumb Dad. Instead of listening to the same songs over and over, now I belly laugh down the freeway. Love the advice and unfiltered stories that make me feel like I’m doing alright

I'm a SAHD of 3 small kids and I run a small business out of my home. So it can be isolating and hard to find people to relate to. Evan and Kevin are dudes going through the same kind of daily craziness that I am. The catharsis of listening to them talk about their dad lives makes me feel seen and refreshes my resolve to get back to being a great dad.

I love the open, lighthearted and non-judgemental nature of this show!

Way to go Dumb Dads (is the ‘dumb’ REALLY silent?). Kevin and Evan provide levity with a splash of serious, pragmatic wisdom about all things young-parent. While we drown in a river of wet-food on furniture, daily chicken nuggets, dirty hands, diapers, screen-time and chronic insomnia, finding humor while knowing you’re not alone has certainly found a place for me on my weekly podcasts. An untapped opportunity was captured here to reach out to young parents everywhere trying to navigate the pitfalls of the new generation of child-rearing. So so so funny. My kids are all older now, but I can still relate and it’s nice to hear dads having the exact same experience I had as a stay at home mom. 20 years later we’ve made progress! Not in dumb parenting moments of course. That’s eternal.

I listen to all the Podcasts and they make Me laugh at all the stories. They bring me Back to when my kids were small and all the fun and not so fun times!

Thank you for this hilarious podcast. I can’t believe it took me this long to start listening. I’ve gone back to download all the episodes. Time doesn’t matter - if you’re a parent this podcast will have you in stitches laughing out loud. Also shows a preview into the things I have to look forward to. My boys are 4 and 2 and oh man.

I look forward to this podcast each week. I am a single mom of a 3.5 year old and a 3 month old and I often feel like I live in a crazy world but these dads normalize the insane world we navigate each day so these little humans can grow up and live their best lives. We suffer so they thrive but also, we have to continue to change the rules as we go….. love the grocery store story, my toddler hid her box of gummies behind wine in the wine isle while I shopped for mommies wine! We had to find the gummies without breaking bottles of wine…
