I met them at my local pro shop and they were the most friendly and funny people to met. He gave me a lot of info about archery that I did not know and it. This is a must watch podcast, I will never miss a episode.

Great podcast love listening to it. Just wish I lived closer to Houston so I could participate in his tournaments.

One of the few podcasts out there that freely gives out information and makes it a point to teach. Episodes are entertaining and full of tips and tricks. Cary often does post trip analysis and gives tips on what to do and what not to do if you want to go on a similar trip. He’s genuine and transparent and approachable. I trepidatiously reached out with some questions about a particular hunt I planned. Before I knew it, we were communicating regularly. Excellent podcast.

The Salty Yak Podcast is excellent to listen to. Its awesome, fun, and informative. Cary and his team are some of the best friends to have and go fishing. Had a great time at the Matagorda kayak fishing and camping trip.

The Salty Yak is a fantastic podcast for learning, laughs, and networking. Cary does a great job explaining techniques and all the special guests provide additional insight on the art of saltwater kayak fishing. Not only do you have the ability to learn new things through the podcast and listen to great fishing stories, but it also opens your eyes to the community surrounding fishing and gets you outdoors!

I really wanted to give one star just to hear you talk about it but I can’t. I love lessening to the show. I’m in Florida and a lot of the information is very helpful. Sadly the wife got me to buy a pontoon boat not a fishing boat so my kayak is getting covered in pollen. Keep up the good work, and one day I’ll make the Matagorda island trip

Some good guys and give great fishing info and tell fun, relatable stories. All around, best fishing podcast I’ve listened to including over quality of content, usefulness, sound quality, and the fact that these guys stay on topic and don’t ramble about random things like other fishing podcasts.

Started kayak fishing in 2020 and didn’t have a clue where to start. Found the Yak Pak on Facebook, but then came across the podcast. Very knowledgeable host and always willing to help a fellow fisherman/woman. Always wear your life jacket! Update: great hot tips for tournament fishing. Almost has me signing up!

Being a lifelong west Texas freshwater fisherman I have tuned in to several podcast to try to learn the salt life. There are a few podcast that I listen to, yours being one of them, but the recurring theme throughout the podcast that I don’t like is, unorganized banter. You guys are doing are doing a great job and are very knowledgeable in salt water fishing. You allSeem like good guys and I would definitely go hunting or fishing with you. The only problem I have is with your podcast,And this comes from me being an old football coach, is it seems a little unorganized.A lot of your conversations are like two guys sitting in the garage drinking beer, which I totally agree with, but if there were a little bit of an organization of staying on task and actually having a topic line would greatly improve your podcast.Please please please take this as constructive criticism. There’s no doubt you guys are way better fisherman than I am, but the rambling seems to get off track. I hope one of these days we might fish togetherOr sit in the garage and drink beer.thanks for what you’re doing keep up the good work and don’t give up!!

I spend a lot of time on the road, to fund my next outing to the coast for more salt yaking of my own and really enjoy the tips and tricks these guys throw down.
