The Power Trip's Initials Game

Every Friday around 8:15​-8:20 a.m. on KFAN 100.3 the Power Trip Morning show plays the Initials Game presented by Wolf River Electric (WolfRiverElectric.com).

The game involves 12 items people, place, things, phrases or anything as long as they share the same initials. All 12 items share the same initials. The contestants do not know the initials until they are revealed shortly before the game starts. Each item has 6 clues. As soon as the contestants know who or what the host is describing, they yell out their name. Their name is their buzzer. If the contestant gets it right, they get a point. If they get it wrong they are out for just that item. The item does have to be pronounced correctly. It is best out of 12 with tiebreakers if needed. Tiebreaker items have 3 clues.

    Another initials tournament is coming and once again AJ is allowed to play. I don’t get it. Didn’t he retire as the GOAT? Mix it up. You might as well have an old shoe, a porcupine, three Big Macs and a rotary telephone take him on. Leave both Tom Brady and AJ retired. (That said, love the game!)

    So I’ve always just downloaded the whole show and skipped through to initials until just finding this. My wife and I love playing a few episodes on long road trips. This is kind of an annoying request, but we also try guess the initials for the jackpot so it would be awesome if you didn’t have them in the title. Otherwise this is insanely more convenient!

    AJ Mansour is the champion. Meatsauce ... well you just feel sorry for him at times. Hawkey is the dark horse. And the guest stars always try there best. Most creative and innovative radio game in the history for radio. Period. This podcast wails!!!
