WMD 38Case Management Program versus AlternativeSolo here. Love the show. Interested in a segment that pros/cons over committing to a Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, etc. versus applying custom script or tying together specialized programs like those showcased on this pod.

amp110114Just subscribe, you won't regret it!I wish this podcast had been around when I started my business. Sheila really gets how business owners feel and helps you to use those feeling to improve (as a person and business owner) and grow your business There's more wisdom in one episode of her podcast than in entire books I've read. Her episode on pricing was stellar! Just subscribe already, you won't regret it!

dwightroGets to the PointErnie's approach is to explain various approaches to an issue - software, hardware, marketing, for example - and then tell you what he has done or would do. He is the uncommon attorney who actually says "do this." I appreciate his candor, easy going manner and succintness. I have been following ERNIE for many years. I usually listen to his podcast on another platform; however the most recent one on kaizen was so superior I wanted to give it a five star review for the world to see. Thank you ERNIE and keep on keeping on.

Chris_EsqEvery episode is helpfulErnie’s podcast provides a great mix of his own personal insight and perspective from his guests. Everyone on this podcast is either an attorney in the trenches or someone helping attorneys in the trenches. The podcast also has an amazing blend of information and entertainment. And every single episode is helpful in some way. I highly recommend this podcast to any solo or small firm attorney. But don’t just listen to the podcast. Take the info Ernie shares and apply it to your business/practice! What Ernie talks about will help make your practice run smoother and easier!

Ty ShepardThis podcast has improved my life and my careerI more about the effective practice of law in the last 6 months from this podcast than I did in my first 6 years of being a lawyer. This is an excellent show for lawyers who want to do their best for clients, their families, and (most importantly) themselves. Ernie’s advice is spot on and will make you a better person - at work and in your personal life. I hope you will listen to this show and enjoy.

Coach7227Every Small/Solo Should Listen InAs a small law business owner and adjunct professor teaching law practice management, I listen to a lot of legal podcasts. I can honestly say Ernie delivers one of THE best! It’s practical, no-nonsense driven. He doesn’t invite all sorts of guests every week to talk about things that aren’t top of my mind as a business owner. Do yourself a favor and listen in - you’ll be hooked! I know I got hooked and have been gobbling up episodes.

EC Esq.A Great Podcast for Solo and Small Firm LawyersI listen to a lot of podcasts, including several about the “business” of practicing law, and this is my favorite. Ernie gives lawyers looking to grow their practice concise and useful advice as well as references for further reading on the topics he covers. His conversational style is easy to listen to and he clearly cares about the success of solo and solo and firm lawyers. Definitely check this one out!

Joe O 5150Great information. Great knowledge. Thanks Ernie!I have followed Ernie since I left the bigger firm for the solo world - about 6 years ago now. -
BayerworldIts about time somone said thisI have listened to the episode about hiring consultants 5 times. In a very thoughtful way, Ernie talks about which consultants to hire and which ones to avoid. No one else does this. It’s refreshing to hear a voice not pushing the latest shiny new object. Technology is very useful, but it won't save your practice. This podcast might.
-
D. HoytA trustworthy voice among many voicesI’ve been following Ernie for a few years as I manage and grow my small law firm. Ernie is one of the few voices I find consistently helpful because he provides practical, current advice and roadmaps based on decades of experience with the practice of law and the business of running a practice, including technology and systems. Ernie helps lawyers overcome the “shiny object“ black hole of technology in the practice of law by getting back to the basics of lawyers running a business and utilizing technology and systems in appropriate ways - technology and business systems utilized by caring, mindful and trustworthy people.
-
