Listening to these warm and lovely people lifts my mood every week. I feel inspired and I just want to hug them. I get super excited about the sport of eventing. Thank you!

I have been listening every week since the first episode long, long ago! I am done my favorite podcast. I listen and learn so much I live in the area of the country that is an “eventing desert” so this helps me feel more connected! It is so sad that Rob is no longer here but I think his son does an amazing job! Thank you. I hope you keep this podcast going and going!

I have to say I love this podcast. I listen to it when I ride, when I’m driving in the car and when I’m at work. It’s a great way to stay in touch with the sport and to hear great stories from top professionals.

Sometimes the sound quality isn’t great and I wish they varied the content instead of predominantly interviews. It is nice to have a riding podcast solely dedicated to eventing though and I really enjoyed the groom round table.

Great podcast for my 40min commute to the barn. My favorite part is the question asking for advice to young riders listening. The advice given has helped me in my riding and pursuit of my goals. I especially loved the episode with Tamie Smith, Lainey Ashker, and Boyd Martin.

This is my favorite podcast by far. I love Rob and Karen. Their friendly and humble demeanor when talking to experts makes me feel like I am already friends with them. I love the questions they ask the experts. As a 27 year old aspiring upper level event rider, hearing how everyone got their start makes me feel like I may be able to run an Advanced course one day. I’m a show jumper, but I absolutely love this podcast! I’ve learned so much not just about eventing, but things that can carry over to all disciplines. The riders are inspiring and Rob and Karen make the interviews very conversational and fun to listen to. I love it!

This is such a great podcast that not just eventers will enjoy but all types of equestrians, as I am just a dressage rider but have been inspired to get into the sport soon. It is great for my 35 min commute to my barn and serves as such a good motivator to reach for my goals everyday. I love hearing about each guests’ unique way of how they approach the sport. Rob and Karen always manage to put a smile to my face every time I listen. I discovered MLE in the summer and have since listened to every single episode. Keep up the amazing work!

As a lawyer and an adult amateur, I sometimes need a kickstart to get out to the barn after a long day of work. Rob and Karen’s enthusiasm about the sport in combination with the incredible stories of perseverance and hard work from all the top riders never fail to get my fired up for my evening rides! I’ve gone from hoping to kick around at training level indefinitely to upper level aspirations (much to the chagrin of my parents)!

Fascinating podcast! I grew up in a horsey family and have been watching eventing for years but am not an equestrian myself. This podcast pulls back the curtain on riders I see at all the events, and it is so interesting. I especially enjoyed the Boyd Martin interview - he is not just a rider, he is CEO of a company. Anyone who works in a business can appreciate hearing about how he organizes & prioritizes things and his entrepreneurial spirit! Listening to this podcast has also made me appreciate how much hard work goes into being a professional equestrian. This is a must listen!

Major League Eventing is one of my absolute favorites. The sweetest couple interviewing some of eventings top riders. Genuine questions and charming personalities. Love these guys!

I really like what you guys are trying to do, but I wish your interviewing style were a little less overbearing--for the format, where we are not in the room with you all and the guest, it would be easier to listen to if you didn't react so much to what your guests say (wow, that's fantastic, amazing, wow, etc), which would also help you not talk over them as much.

I really appreciate that you interview a range of riders from ambitious amateurs to seasoned professionals! While it may be challenging in the interview format you have it would also be interesting to hear some specifics, such as warmup routines riders have found particularly effective or maybe their favorite exercise to school at home. Thanks so much for bringing this great content to us eventing nerds! 🤓 🏇

I wish all the different disciplines had a podcast like this! It’s super entertaining and the hosts do a great job guiding people through their many stories and are able to get people to talk about difficult topics and moments because we all know that a life with horses is not all sunshine and roses. It’s super inspirational and I hope they keep up the good work!

Karen and Rob bring an authentic love for the sport of eventing to this podcast. Their enthusiasm and practical knowledge are as refreshing as is their down to earth delivery. Great fun listening.

Great podcast, but hard to hear at times. 1. Please fade out the music before you start talking. The music in the background makes it hard to hear you, and is annoying. This is especially important if you have a listener who is hard of hearing. 2. Have guests in person, or have them call you from a land line in a quiet location. I was really excited to learn from Emma Ford, and I missed a lot. That being said, the information in this podcast is excellent, and I look forward to it getting better and better.

I absolutely love the MLE podcast. Its informative, inspiring and funny. I am going to start being more competitive and move up the levels after years of trying to make it happen and this podcast has gotten me so excited and filled with knowledge! I’m a truck driver and it’s so great to just listen while I’m driving at work. I can’t wait to listen to more!!

Really enjoy this podcast. You pick great guests and ask all the right questions. Love hearing the origin stories. Also, the guest is allowed to do most of the talking as you prompt them with good questions. And you’re not afraid to ask the hard questions. The fact that one guest per podcast is featured allows the listeners to feel like they get to know them. 👍

I’m not a runner but have been trying to run more lately to help with rider fitness. Listening to your podcast keeps me motivated and laughing when I want to quit. I love the diversity of guests you are bringing on. Keep it up. Cheers!

I am a 35 year old, happily married mother of 3 living near Chester Springs PA. Mainly a dressage rider, I began searching for something to listen to on my hour drives to visit my widowed grandmother each week. This was the only equestrian podcast I could find that contained more than just current news. Each episode is so interesting, it almost makes me want to make the switch from dressage to the event world! ;-) You two are doing a great job, and I have such a high level of appreciation for each of these professionals willing to take time out of their day to sit and have a chat. Keep doing what you are doing!

I have been a fan of this podcast since the beginning. I know that every time I will learn something, this has become a staple of my Wednesday Morning. Tuesday night is like Christmas morning wondering who I will learn from next! Matt Brown’s Podcast is a must listen as is Max Corcoran and Daniel Stewart. I could keep going, because each podcast I have listened to I have truly enjoyed. I love Rob & Karen vision and passion for the sport.

This is a really great podcast! Rob and Karen do an excellent job interviewing so many great riders and professionals. The content is informative, motivating and very entertaining! My favorite interview was with Lainey Ashker, and the Windurra crew in a close second. So fun and inspiring, I highly recommended this podcast.

I love the in-depth interviews you provide your listeners. This sets your podcast apart from the others in that we get to hear one person’s story for the whole episode instead of just hearing about their most recent win. I also enjoy hearing you ask each person the same question and hearing the varying responses proving that there is are multiple roads to success. Great job, team!

I am new to podcasts and I am so glad I found this one!! I returned to riding after 25 years away and I have a lovely OTTB at a lovely farm with an exceptional trainer and we plan on competing in our first horse trial at Plantation in the spring!! I love listening to today’s greats and up an comers talk about this amazing sport! As a recovering hunter/jumper horse show dad I’m always looking for a way to quench that horse fever. I’ve found it with this podcast. I know nothing about eventing but this husband and wife team explains it all and they make it interesting. You can tell they are true fans of the sport.

I am an amateur eventer, long-time equestrian, and a high school Animal Science Instructor. Your podcast keeps me going and keeps things in perspective.
