80'sVillagerSully v TroutSully is one of the best baseball pundits but Trout has been overrated since he doubled in size physically after his brilliant rookie year. Trout is a great numbers but he lacks something that guys like Mookie and Freddie have.
-
Blockhead36Sully has no idea who or what he’s talking about!Just listen to a few of his most recent podcasts. He was naming players who were no longer on teams as important team members (Collin Rea was released weeks ago), doesn’t know players in trades or rumors. Just not the strong Knowledge needed for a national podcast. Probably should stick to the Mets.
-
IhatefrontierToo BiasedScully needs to get over his biased reporting of the Oakland/Sacramento/Vegas A’s and hated towards those AL West teams. I unsubscribing now! 👎👎👎
-
parttasGood showI don’t think sully can be mean sometimes but he is still a good podcaster so that’s why I only give him 4 stars

Ezra NoveckNo blackouts MLB. Give us our games for the subscription. #everydaysully/#sullyforcomitionerLove how the content comes out on weekends too. Most Locked On podcasts I listen to don’t post on weekends. I listen everyday. This is my first offseason. Love the content with Millard. Philly fan. Disappointed on both Eagles and Phillies. I just want to say, Phillies could win 100 games and contend for the division and first round by if they get off to a hot start. Look out braves. Trea got hot. Love the standing ovation from the fans. Would suggest to focus on other teams more. Not saying you should stop doing your thing with Millard, but have crossovers with different teams. I can’t answer any trivial questions. Can the next one be about recent Phillies trivia? All for streaming and a premium subscription to MLB for every game. Sully has some good points and I think he deserves to be commissioner. Keep up the daily and great content.

INSOMNIATICUnorganizedThe show is all over the place as is the episodes. No Rhyme or reason. I’m followed since they go rid of Game2Game
-
NateSwannerIt’s just rantingThe show is totally unorganized. It’s as if the host creates a list of things to talk about for a set amount of time the show has to run, but there’s no research or thought put into it. It’s simply ranting. If you want to listen to someone loudly discuss narratives they create based on headlines they saw because they think they know everything, enjoy the show. I’m looking for more depth and actual insights.

dukerdjsStop slandering OhtaniNot nice Paul. I guess you have never heard innocent till proven guilty? Who cares what you say as long as you get downloads right ? Once everyday sully signing off. Good night Paul

IzamazingsBiased, incompetent, self centered host.Sully acts though he knows better than every single person in Major League Baseball and acts though the problems, which he doesn’t like because of personal preferences and try’s to force on others (and if you ask how it because of his wording and tone), are easy fixes and he can fix them while the people in charge just care about money. Also he talks to the same people over and over, I’m a Seattle m’s fan and you talked about the team once over the entire time I’ve been listening and that was because the team wasn’t a good fit for teo and he should have gone back, I’ve looked back over the course of the past year and that’s the only time you’ve mentioned them.
-
SadDodgerFanDoesn’t shut upSully invites people on the show and then talks the whole time. He isn’t good enough to talk over his guests. Too much nonsense from him.
-
ZachMayesShort show is goodI like the daily updates from the reporters on the shorter episode but Sully is pretty insufferable.
-
ThebestoftodayNot a Baseball Fan but Still Love ItThis is the perfect amount of baseball and humor and it reminds me of my brother and Dad talking about baseball when I was a kid. Love it!
-
godawgs101Go Red Sox!Great pod. Big Red Sox fan and always listen.
-
HMC..Enjoying more and moreI love listening to podcasts in bed to wind down, and maybe it’s my imagination but it seems the sound quality has improved a lot recently. The show is now much easier to listen to than it was. If there have been recent efforts to improve the sound, please know it’s appreciated! Love the content too! I used to think we went off on too many tangents but I’ve grown to enjoy that part of the show. There also seems to be less of them now that baseball has started (I began listening in the off-season). Thanks for the show!
-
SteveK09#everydaysullygreat show Sully! love the historical tidbits
-
ChicazifDon’t be biasedDon’t just focus and collaborate with the same people and the same teams but good podcast
-
ZadelsteWrong person for the jobMaybe get someone a little less whiny and biased

Andante'Locked on MLBGo Mariners! Oh, the billions of stats is getting carried away. I’ve watched and listened to probably every team’s broadcasters / announcers. Either there’s too much OF THIS: The Rule 5 Draft pick divided by the 2nd best WHIP three years ago multiplied to RISP over the ERA and averages to the 3rd power. Etc The Acronym Sport. Jesus Or there’s basically just fans of there team without substance context etc etc. The most balanced and exciting cities are KANSAS CITY ROYALS and SEATTLE MARINERS.

Caliban's Day OutShould stick to baseball. Ignorance is ShowingChoosing to take a stand on vaccination mandates and calling out professional athletes on what they chose to put into their bodies, all the while Sully is double vaxxed and double boosted and OUT SICK WITH COVID is the height of ignorance of the science behind it all. You are MORE than welcome to your opinions and the way you choose to live your life, but I come to a baseball podcast for baseball. I’m not gonna fall into the trap you’ve fallen into and make all my opinions of this sport all political. Sad that you have. Even more sad that you are so hypocritical to rant on this podcast about something you seem to have zero understanding of. It’s distasteful and shows you can’t be trusted for just baseball insight. Unsubscribed.
-
wstern52Worst of Locked OnLeast favorite of ALL the Locked On podcasts. Sully basically complains about baseball the entire time or talks about his political ideas. If there was another Locked On podcast that covered all of the MLB I’d listen to it
-
i watch it on youtube usuallySully is a jerkHe knows already
-
swiftbosoxInsightful, amusing serious MLB commentary6/29/22 stumbled on this MLB referenced podcast on Audacy, then went to Apple to make this review…Love it! Sully is unabashed but not annoying and doesn’t talk all the fluff and kissy crap you hear on MLB network. Further, he exudes his love for the game while not acting as a “know it all”. I’m listening to library shows now: good stuff indeed .
-
User282293It would be niceIt would be Nice if the first segment is a run down of the scores and games from the night before like a sports scoreboard so we know what happened around the league daily, and which players did well the night before. Then bring the guest the rest of the way
-
Da beast 8448Locked on big marketIt unfortunately seems like this is turning into locked in big market teams like all the other National podcasts. It’s a shame
-
johnrhy9Sully is the BestBeen listening to Sully since the early 1950's when he covered the Booklyn Dodgers on the radio. So much wisdom and insight to offer.
-
Language_FailThe best baseball podcastFor the thoughtful baseball fan. Alternate realities, hard truths, provocative topics. Don’t listen if you don’t want your values and preconceptions to be challenged. Sully is unabashedly biased in some ways, and that’s why I appreciate him. He’s refreshingly human and honest. He’s laceratingly funny, too. Best of all, he’s an absolute force of knowledge on the greatest American game. -UPDATE, about a year later- I’m listening less often nowadays. Partly to do with my need to listen to Fantasy Baseball Today from the young guys who run that show for CBS and do a great job. But Locked on MLB is becoming a bit tedious to listen to because of all the ads and the number of guests Sully has on. It seems to be Millard Thomas every other day. Or that H-Town guy. Nothing against Millard Thomas, it’s just that I came from the days of Sully Baseball Daily and thought that was a perfect show where guests were infrequent but quality, and ads were nonexistent. I understand that things sometimes have to evolve over time, not always to our liking. C’est la vie. But podcasts exist in the past, present, and future, and I’m missing the past, not loving the present, and hoping for a better future for this show.

belka1224Locked on MLBSully does a fantastic job on his daily podcast. He is a true baseball fan who covers the entire league; no frills, no gimmicks, just a knowledgeable and passionate baseball podcast.
-
Sci fi Reagan_84It’s okayI started listening a week ago because I’m starved for baseball content. Sully is what he is. He clearly understands and loves the game, but he also goes off on too many anecdotal tangents to make his points. His encyclopedia of knowledge is impressive, but it’s also not always relevant to the topic. It seems like he breaks down a game in two minutes focusing on an easy to digest headline, relives a great moment from the past for five minutes, then comes back to the present repeating the storyline he already established. It’s okay. It’s not bad, but it’s going to need to get better for me to stick around after my team either wins the World Series or gets bounced.

Mamacita224Love, love, love Joe Kilgallon! This guy knows so much about the Cubbies! I married into the Cubs in 1995, never looked back and am psyched to hear Joe every day 😍
-
JohnnyAthleticThank You SullyLove your podcast for the passion & info you bring. I want to commend all baseball locked on hosts as you all are a joy to listen to. I’ve enjoyed Jason Burke of locked on A’s but with the inevitable move of the team & my decision to be a Red Sox fan I’ll be enjoying listening to Gabrielle Starr & the good job she does. Hats off to all of you at Locked On
-
gina trentLove your podcastI really enjoy your podcast look for to it every day I love baseball so I tried a lot of different your is one of the best keep up the good work
-
ryan cle 1Doesn’t even cover baseballBro we just had opening day can we get your thoughts on the games instead of talking about random stuff the whole time.
-
jsroy7Stick to baseballI like Sully and when he sticks to baseball. He shouldn’t bring his political views into his commentary and tell people to “unsubscribe” if they don’t like his take. If he wants to do a political podcast, then do it. As for this podcast - stick to baseball!
-
RBN6257Glenn Braggs InterviewSully. Great podcast, love your passion and insight. I am a Reds (and now Brewers) fan born in Ohio and moved to Milwaukee in 1997. I was overseas in the Navy for the Reds 1990 run and missed the entire season. Thanks for the Delorean back in time.
-
Brent_MagLove itOne of my go-to podcasts, especially during this incredibly slow offseason.
-
xo rbchnGood podVery informative and keeps me up to date with new content each and every day. I listen to every episode each day.
-
xbvdyA really enjoyable listen! Now that everyone has moved onto football, its nice to have a blow by blow, Intelligent and passionate discourse on “America’s Pastime”. I love these playoffs as much as Sully and he hits the sweet spots. Thanks
-
johnny1243647Very goodI love this podcast and it brought me back into baseball. Thanks!!!!

monybagz13GoodGood
-
jgrandi88Crybaby SullyOmg that’s all this guy does is whine and moan about everything. By far the worst sports podcast I’ve ever listened to. If you like Debbie Downers this is the podcast for you. He claims to be optimistic and positive but the results are back sully and that’s a lie.
-
Sydrose28Sully, the ‘aficionado’ of baseballLove this podcast. Always informative and fun to listen to. Keep it going, Sully!
-
Tom RichmondSully has a love affair with baseballSully is a great host who understands what makes baseball America’s Favorite Pastime. I can almost smell the grass when I hear him talking about the game.
-
WesSide705BlandHe means well but better baseball podcasts available
-
Podcast visitorRickeyI love your show. Listen every day. I really enjoyed the Rickey episode because I grew up watching him play. He was never on my team, but I always admired his game. Can you do podcasts on other interesting players? I would enjoy hearing about many more.
-
Maxcraft430FantasticI’ve always loved Sully’s podcasts. His voice, his love, passion, and enthusiasm for baseball is infectious, plus his humor and intelligence that combine to bring up quick references and funny, accurate observations is so entertaining. Listened to the show about and with his father last night and it was so beautiful and so touching and so relatable to anyone who has ever had and loved a father or a parent and especially for all who have experienced and gone through the process of losing them. I don’t even like baseball or sports. But I love his podcast for his humanity and ability to make everything interesting, funny, or meaningful. If you like baseball even a little, you must listen. But even if you don’t, this is a great podcast that you’ll be better for having listened to.
-
jharv79Great baseball talk, but too many personal views. If I wanted liberal BS spewed at me everyday I could listen to NPR. Sully does love baseball, but if you don’t play in the Northeast or West Coast he will not talk about your team. Plus, for a guy who loves baseball you’d think he’d want a season played in 2020, but he’d rather see to it that Trump is removed from office. Stick to baseball!.......... I will update this rating after further thought a one star rating is unfair. I will give you a 3 star because of your love of the game and passion for it which I share. Also, I respect your love and connection with your father. I also share that and lost mine from cancer in 2011. I disagree with almost all of your other views and your blind trust of these crooked scientists. I believe we need some sort of baseball season. Keep up the good baseball talk.
-
SteelbrewSo what do you want??Forget politics! Take it out of the equation. When will you be not afraid? When your scientists say it’s ok to go out again? THEY ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT!! Their whole point is for us to stay inside and hide. Have you ever seen George Carlin’s rant on damaging your immune system? I know it’s not a scientific view but, hate to tell you he is right! We need to stop hiding. And I know you are totally fine with flushing the season away but some of us are not.
-
Jingle-74Excellent ShowIf you love real baseball conversation, this is the show you should be listening to. Sully has an honest, loving perspective on the game and always keeps the discussion entertaining.
-
astrosrock75Sully is the bestThis guy is a great baseball mind. Best interview I’ve done in my Young podcasting career. If you want to know the latest and hear from around the league download and inject this straight into your veins...or ear buds. P.S. Dude loves Pedro!!!
