I'm glad to see the show back although I'm sad Van has left. The new Rob seems fine but is way too rambley. Hopefully it's just jitters but the shows are also way too long because he can't seem to keep the guys on track well. Each of the new episodes since they came back is at least an hour and a half long which is fine every now and then but I liked it better when they had tighter shows I guess that's what having a radio guy does for you, keeps everything running smoothly. The audio quality also took a step back but isn't terrible. Overall glad the show is back I just wish they would put more work into organizing the show or editing it. Hopefully with time things will smooth out with the new guy

These guys are very serious players in the high stakes/expert universe. Sometimes their advice is subtle but still unequivocal. A perfect example was an exchange in the preseason about Tylor Megill. When Van inquired about Megill both Rob and Jeff immediately agreed that Megill would make his way onto their teams and that was it. They speak, I listen. Thank you gentlemen, I ended up with Megill everywhere I could. There are two or three difference makers like this every year that I probably wouldn’t target without their help.

Top notch fantasy analysis by guys who are some of the best players out there. Jeff Rob always have great info to back up their opinions Should be on your mist listen list for fantasy baseball.

The highly quantitative nature of Launch Angle makes it the best podcast for serious fantasy fans. It’s all substance and no fluff. I love how almost all the opinions are backed by Jeff’s numbers and Rob’s probabilities. Van also does an excellent job keeping the conversation moving. Best 60 minutes of my fantasy week.

Excellent podcast, with outstanding and in-depth analysis which can help you draft and win your leagues. Van is a great host with his radio background, and Jeff and Rob are both top-notch analysts. Their series on each draft slot after pick 100 has been “must listen” material. Highly recommended!

I think these guys are very smart and good at what they do and they occasionally joke around a bit but for the most part it is all business. That's fine and all but I personally can't get invested in a show where the hosts are robots At least the sound quality is good unlike a lot of fantasy shows. The main host seems like a radio guy and he lets the other two talk about the stats more often than not. I'm not sure if he's not as good at fantasy or just wants to let the others talk. Rob Silver is really snotty, although he usually doesn't get too bad here and the third guy is smart but definitely is not a great talker Overall I give the show 5 stars for having really good advice and being easy on the ears but I'd love to hear these guys talk like they actually like podcasting and playing fantasy

What the (heck) is up with rob silver’s fake voice? wow, truly unlistenable. theres no way thats your real speaking voice dude. i came here to listen to fantasy baseball analysis, not listen to some guy purposely try to speak in a deep or “gravelly” voice. reminds me of when umpires think we came here to watch them umpire. if you think we the listeners wanna hear your hilariously-fake voice, then go record a music album or something, and use a normal human being’s voice on this podcast meant for FANTASY BASEBALL TALK. 2 stars.

Great analysis. Van is great at keeping the show moving. Complaints: Come on guys, you can silence your phones while you are broadcasting. Audio quality for Rob and Jeff could also be improved.

How does Van do it?! Between him, Rob and Jeff it’s astounding how incredible he is at steering this ship full speed ahead. Van makes me want to run to the mountaintops to beg for buttermilk. Thank you for the entertainment and knowledge you have bestowed upon us. Listening to new episodes of Launch Angle makes me want to be a better man. Plus Rob is Canadian, which means he is better than most of us.

Who made you the arbiter of proper human behavior? You’re judging someone who you have probably never met, based on one action in a situation that you yourself have never been in and you think that’s fair? This isn’t the first time I’ve heard unfair judgments of players based on off-field actions. Stick to analysis and don’t throw stones in a glass house.

I think Rob needs to focus on his astrological signs and stay away from bad-mouthing Kyle Tucker.

These guys have fun, but you also always get serious insight listening. Rob wins the high stakes leagues, Jeff digs into every piece of fantasy research, and Van is the straw that stirs the drink. Subscribe.

This is easily one of, if not the best, offbeat podcast out there. Their takes on players and team situations are smart, well supported, and explained in a way easily to digest. On top of that by talking through how they evaluate players it allows me to take that process and apply it (albeit in a muddled fashion) to other players in my evaluations. Van Lee keeps the conversations on point with two of the best bantering fantasy analysts in Zimmerman and Silver. Keep it up!

I have been listening to Fantrax podcasts for two fantasy baseball seasons now, and have loved every minute of content out out by you guys. The humor, accuracy, and well thought our topics continue to make fantasy not only enjoyable, but also rewarding with winning 4 titles in two years. Just started listening to the Launch Angle pod and you have delivered once again. Keep doing what your doing guys. Love the shows. Can’t wait for the season to start.

Would be a 4 or 5 star show without Rob Silver. Guy can play fantasy but sure is an annoyance with his “hot takes” and snark.

Whether you are looking for quality player evaluation, auction and draft strategy, or just witty baseball banter, this is the best fantasy baseball podcast going! The chemistry between Van Lee, Jeff Zimmerman and Rob Silver comes through every show. These guys love baseball and really understand fantasy baseball. I love the fact that they avoided the traditional position by position analysis and instead review players using ADP round by round analysis. The coverage of player news and the statisiitical impact on each team is excellent! If you're in a fantasy league this is the one podcast to listen to every week!

This is probably my favorite fantasy baseball podcast. While all podcasts discuss recent player moves, these guys go deeper and discuss theory and strategy for winning your league. Rob is also funny as hell! I’m half way through Jeff’s ebook The Process and learning a lot there two. If you are in my league do not subscribe...for everyone else this is a must add to your queue.

Great fantasy bb analysis, however, social views on Murphy (1-2-19 episode) neither accurate nor wanted hence the low rating.

This is a fairly new pod but already one of the best around.

Good use of advanced stats without going overboard. They actually talk about stuff that can help fantasy owners.

Really enjoy the detailed analysis on players as well as the use of different statistical tools. Both Rob and Jeff provide great insight. Only complaint are that the host comes off as robotic, and feels very stiff, to the point of being uncomfortable to listen to. Hopefully he will loosen up and relax, to give the show a more natural feel. But overall great job guys.

Van seriously has a voice built for radio...... Those other guys are pretty good too. Great analysis and just an awesome show!

This is a must-listen if you're serious about fantasy baseball. Zimmerman, Silver, and Lee are three of the smartest minds in the industry.

I have played fantasy baseball for 29 years and always seeking new insight and analysis. Really enjoyed listening to the PodCast. It is now on my must listen list.

Just what I need to get my sports hot takes for the day. An hour with these guys feels like five minutes. Wish they posted two or three a day! Good stuff fellas.

As a longtime FF players I’ve been trying to immerse myself into Fantasy Baseball. Fortunately for me the Launch Angle Pod Cast has made things easier. Each episode is informative and precise and the guys always take time to lay the groundwork before diving deep into strategies. One of the best redraft pods out there!

I listen to a few fantasy baseball podcasts, and have been thrilled with this new addition to the industry. Intelligent discussion, but not super nerdy. Rob and Jeff have great insights into the strategy element of fantasy baseball. Van Lee does a good job as the host. I look forward to listening regularly during this baseball season.

It doesn’t get much better than this. Jeff, Rob, and Van are terrific analysts. Well spoken, well produced, straight to the point with no fluff. A must-listen.

I love Jeff's stuff on Fangraphs and have enjoyed other Fantrax shows including the Fantrax Dynasty Baseball podcast that the host Van is on. All good stuff and this one should give some great fantasy insight
