Aqoxib99Thank youI woke up this morning after again draining my bank account and credit cards online gambling, went into my home office to find my life insurance policy to make sure my daughters would still get the proceeds if I committed suicide, texted my daughters to tell them I loved them, and started researching what combination of over-the-counter drugs would kill me as quickly as possible. Then my dogs were whining to me that they needed their walk. I always listen to podcasts when I walk them, and I wondered if there was a podcast about compulsive gambling ..: and I found your podcast. I really don’t believe that I could ever possibly stop this insane addiction because it feels like an out-of-body fever-dream when I’m doing it. But I think I’ll make it through today because of your podcast, so thank you.

Tiltemback MatadorValuable resourceIf you have issues with gambling or are simply curious, i would heartily recommend this podcast produced by a friendly and knowledgeable voice in the online gambling recovery community. It’s honest, welcoming, and informative. I’d go as far as to consider the podcast a refuge if you’re in pain from gambling. Jamie is kind and speaks from experience. Subscribe and you’ll be glad you did.

rtgphoebeThanks for being here.Hi Jamie. My husband recently confessed to being a CG. I was absolutely shocked and now we find ourselves in a daunting financial situation, and of course trust is shattered. Your story gives me hope in a dark time. I am binging your podcast from the beginning. Maybe you have already done this, but I would love to hear from your wife about her experience and steps you both took to heal your marriage. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and making this podcast!

MTMRL715HopefulI just happened upon your podcast - I am looking for help for a family member and have forwarded this to him. GA is not as easy to find as AA. There are not any listed on the GA site that he could attend. Any advice would be appreciated.

JamersmamaEnlighteningJust reframing the age-old debate of nature VS nurture, to nature AND nurture is enlightening. Jamie always brings a fresh, open take on problems we all face in one form or another. His insight into complicated issues is provoking, needed, and very welcomed. Jamie’s desire to help others is readily apparent and feels so genuine.

momma mcroberrsMy daughter found you for meI can’t begin to say how incredible your podcast is to me to US. My daughter discovered you and said mom you’ve got to listen to this guy. She gets it, she understands my obstacles through you! I was never able to explain what I’ve gone through, but you were my voice. I’ve recently fallen after a very good period of time and not to make excuses but I’ve had a lot of triggers that put me back on the wrong path, but we (I am) working on getting it together but this time I have help. I’ve come clean, it’s all out there, but couldn’t done it without you!! Thank you!

kitkanwalkToday I didn’t lay a betMy last bet was 12/02/2020. I’ve been listening to your Podcast since June. It helps me a lot. I am going to GA now 3-4 times a week. I am also attending a six weeks Intensive Outpatient Program. I am a big and long time sports bettor. I’m glad I am starting to understand how hard it is to stop but it’s curable. There is one episode 18. You were saying that you won’t recommend ppl going to Las Vegas or Atlantic City. I don’t agree with you at all. There are ppl lives in Las Vegas or Atlantic City who have gambling problems and are getting helps. How you think we are feeling because we live there. Have you thought about ppl who are living there? Regards. Kit

QueenAmbition73Simply AmazingI love the fact that when you think your winning you really are loosing. Loosing everything that makes you who you are as a human. When in fact you are the creator of your life. Love God from your heart then love yourself we can over come anything. There is nothing wrong with realizing you messed up and starting over the issue is making the same mistake. I call them fresh mistake. I love this I’m praying for everyone who has any addiction to seek help from God from with in themselves or from a professional. Wonder interview I will definitely share

SkilletbrewA nice saviorI just started listening to this podcast, and honestly it is a very great listen. From the very first episode it has given me a sense of hope and self confidence. It has really shown me that I’m not alone in my disease and gives me a support system that is crucial. And it can do the same for you. Well done on your work and thank you for the help.

re-reformedFantastic podcast for problem gamblersI’m coming off a relapse into online poker and have found this podcast to be grounded, honest, and full of actionable insights from someone who has successfully conquered his gambling demons. I’ve only listened to a few of his podcasts, but I find myself nodding vigorously in agreement with so much that he says. His story can also be inspiring for those of us who don’t think we can successfully overcome this disease. Thank you for this podcast.

Chrissy in TampaExcellent !!I am in a different demographic group than Jamie... he is a “young” man, at least compared to me, a woman in my 60’s; his form of gambling was different than mine... However, I can TOTALLY relate to everything he talks about. He discusses so many different aspects of gambling and how it affects your life. I am in the process of listening to every one of his podcasts. Jamie is totally relatable. I’m going to tell friends in GA about this. Thank you, Jamie!
-
Twinky219Let’s get this topic out there!I’ve only listened to the first two but this is definitely a real problem. Let’s spread the word and get help to everyone 👍

-
Stixx18Thank you for what you doHi sir, I am so thankful for this podcast. A year ago I decided to tell my command about my addiction. I’m in the Air Force and let me just tell you it has only made my life worse. They claimed to try and get me help, but that wasn’t without demoting me, shaming me and now looking to kick me out with 18 years of service before I get to retire. I thought I was making the right decision to report it and try to get help, but I had no idea it would start negative consequences and career death. Thank you for your impact on my life!
-

GD2214GAI have been gambling for 30 years and have 308 days clean today. Gambling is a horrible, nasty, emotional disease. Sure I have more debt than I will ever pay but I know this....when I don’t gamble everything falls into place. I listened to the first 3 podcasts and look forward to the journey.
-
Loulou2155AWSOME JOBBravo Jamie! I have struggled with gambling for six years, slowly going down this slippery slope until I nearly lost my car and home. Sought help now for 2 years, but it is still so difficult to stay clean. I was introduced to your podcast by my gambling counselor. It’s amazing! It’s as if you can read my mind!! Looking forward to each and every episode. Keep up the great work! For once I feel hopeful that I can break this cycle of insanity. A grateful listener
-
TinaKatzGrateful for this podcastI’m 22. I started gambling when I turned 21. It became a problem fairly quickly, from hiding it, lying about it, and losing literally every cent I ever had. Looking forward to following this podcast!
-

My mother recently started listening to the podcast and says she relates 100% to this podcast and she’s a step closer to seeking recovery.
-
Dave from MarylandExcellent PodcastWell done Jamie! Very honest in telling your story.
-
British MarkExceptional showI have never had a problem gambling but your show is fascinating to listen to and a great insight on human nature. This is one of the better produced podcasts on iTunes filled in a store stacked with sensationalism and simplistic advice.
-
TSoprano777So Informative and Helpful PodcastJamie's 'The After Gambling Podcast' is so well done. He's been through the fire and come out the other side. His story is far from unique but his insight, gift of communication, and empathy make this a great tool for us problem gamblers.
-
mkat1234HelpfulI’m not a gambling addict but my husband is. Very helpful to hear his perspective.
-
theGreenKoreanInformative and engaging show. The journey is interesting so far. I'm 3 eps in. It hits close to home since I was pretty reckless with gambling in my 20's. Thankfully that's way behind me, but a show like this is a great reminder to keep gambling as entertainment.
