wtizkfzfk khgxkxkCut out the politicsGreat informative podcast that discusses a whole lot of interesting things. Then you ruin it with people whining about Twitter/Musk, and other political stuff. Final straw was the condescending complaints about the word 'master' not being politically correct. Unsubscribed.

N0MFDLearn something every time.Who knew I could learn so much while cutting the grass! My favorite podcast! This show keeps me motivated in the ham radio world. Please don’t stop!!!

StigginsBarefootNew Ham here, been licensed for nearly a year. I’m working towards my Extra after having spent nearly a year operating as a General licensed Ham. I’m not so much interested in the CW aspect of the hobby (maybe, probably, in the future) but I am interested in the QRP to 100 watt SSB stuff. I mostly do POTA so I always love hearing about field radio use and the antennas for this purpose. Love the show, please keep them coming. -KE2BDV

dont review too oftenAnd then they said Twitter was going to implodeUse to love the show. Had great tips and interesting projects. Now it’s getting political, bias, opinionated and a lot of talking about themselves. I still give you a shot every episode hoping for a turn around but ultimately end up deleting episode and making a played. Sorry guys, hope you find your roots again.

Dr ZipI’ve found my happy place!Finished watching the Ham Radio Workbench presentation on the QSO virtual hamfest last night. The humor was outstanding, The Canadian contingent was excellent. I didn’t know Canadian Ham’s had such a great sense of humor. The tech information was great as always, but the star of the show was the prototyping of the pin or patch to detect at first fellow watchers of ham radio workbench then with further design work it could be engineered to be a COVID detector! George, you and your cast of fellow nerds are simply “The Best” Thank you!!! N6CLF Chris

Bill LarnedEducational and entertainingI look forward to every episode of the Ham Radio Workbench. They’re great to listen to on the way to work in my car or traveling on the highway. Many of the guests share not solely knowledge and skill but tips and tricks to save money, as well as testing and measuring more effectively. Some episodes, (like Earth-Moon-Earth or Receiver Optimization) I’ve listened to multiple times due to the articulate, thoughtful questions George asks the guest speaker, the enthusiasm of the guest speaker and the wealth of information. Keep up the great work! 73 de KA1WHT

4:)75?Episode 130Just now taking the podcast #130 directional antennas. However; A-the full wave loop, or quad loop reduces noise as compared to yagi because the vertical portions on the square loop cancel some of the natural and man made noise. Also, the quad loop is usually a DC ground aerial and that furthers noise reduction. B- its not a yagi without a reflector or a director. A rotary dipole is not a gain array, it is only a bi-dictional gain less Dipole. Otherwise good program and lots of correct data. PS: wire beams on 75 and 40 meters where the trees are available. rhlanhamGreat podcastThese guys are great to listen to. I’ll admit that once they get into the main topic I usually get lost as they are really smart, but I love the “what’s on your workbench” section as I learn about all kinds of cool gadgets, tools and tech. 73, K8JLW

PVFBillPerfect TimingFinding Ham Radio Workbench was so timely given my renewed interest in ham radio after a long hiatus from the hobby. I’ve been steadily upgrading my station with new everything, from radios to antennas. Listening to HRW has helped me so much with those purchase decisions. I also love the banter, ribbing, and self-deprecation of the hosts and guests. Thanks for doing these podcasts! Bill, KG6DZ

No cattleContemporary answers to questions we all wonder about.Corrected Review: Still 5+ stars (please forgive my intermodulation distortion in prior review) This podcast is ham radio treasure, with curiosity, enthusiasm and comprehensive answers to the questions that we all wonder about. The podcast tone is all-inclusive and welcoming, and the format is fun and informative. The focus is not always confined to ham radio, but the banter between George, Jeremy and Michael (and guests) is priceless entertainment. I take notes with every episodes, and then read more on these topics to round out my education. The hosts are also extremely receptive to questions and comments. Thank you for bringing the ham radio community closer together. Bill from Dallas

K2TFExcellent PodcastI really enjoy the podcast. I haven’t been active as I would like to be in the hobby but their podcast has helped keep me up to date with the latest in the hobby. Fortunately, my lawn is large enough is large enough to listen to the entire podcast plus. The only negative might be, they on an occasion belabor a subject, but that’s not to often. Seems to be a great group of guys who participate. Thanks and keep up the good work!

KALB PilotOne of the most informative ham radio podcastsGreat podcast packed with useful information. It’s nice to keep your head in ham radio gadgets and ideas in these difficult times. I may need a larger lawn for some releases but that’s my problem.

Kc2bkmInformativeVery interesting very informative. Feeds my need for Ham when I cant get on the radio or on the bench and I need a fix.

N7GCON7GCOLove the podcast with great help and information. Enjoy the conversational approach.

KI4FYQGreat podcast. This is a very well put together podcast. The guys really dive into topics and explain topics thoroughly. I especially enjoyed the 2 part episode on DMR.

Dr Dave K8WPEGreat way to learn about thus hobbyI am a born listener. I enjoy being part of radio discussion groups but often have very little to say or add. I almost feel like I am sitting at a table sharing an 807 with these guys. Yes, it is long but I listen to it in one hour segments. They seem to have so much fun talking about all of the things that they are doing in ham radio. I especially enjoyed their comments about Xenia. I was there last year and have my bags packed and some money in my pocket so that I can enjoy it again this year. Will attend FDIM and then wander over to the Hamvention. Hope to see you there. aa6rvGreat Content, Love the Podcast.....wish they would limit the timeThis is one of my favorite Podcasts...seriously, these guys go into great depth on subject matter. But learn to limit your time. Break the show into multiple segments. I want to hear everything you have to say, but now you are up to 3 hours? Really? That should have been 2 or 3 shows. If you break it down to segments, you would get a 5 state rating from me. If I can't hear your entire podcast on a 6 mile hike, then you are definitely going on way too long. But, you guys do great content and learn a lot.

KB0WRIts the bestI give it 5 stars because iTunes doesn't allow 6. I have been listening since the very first episode and HR360 and FoTime before that. This is a great mix of deep dive and intro to technical topics complete with build projects, product reviews and discounts. I have built all of the projects and am looking forward to more! Also allowed me to comfortably analyze and buy my o'scope. Also was able to purchase a PowerFilm solar panel and a Digilent AD2 at big discounts. These guys are smart, funny and must never sleep! They sem to do more in a week than I do in months.

JP B.Check out this podcastIf you’re into ham radio check out this podcast. The hosts are great, I always learn a lot.

PA Kyle S.Great bunch of guys sharing their knowledgeAwesome show about everything ham radio and the maker community. I’d really like to take a few courses in electronics and these guys have already been there. It’s very interesting to hear how they are mixing the two topics together and making great gadgets for ham radio. Keep up the great work.

RobbbbbbbbbbzJust what I wanted in a podcastAn amazing podcast. So many ham podcasts are pointed at “The new ham”, because that’s the amount of knowledge the presenter has! This is a show for all hams who want to really know about gear and how to build it. The effort that these two put in to this show is hard to imagine. If this show charged a subscription fee, I would gladly pay it......
-
Hangar6Hands On Ham RadioOutstanding presentation of the technical aspects of Amateur Radio. George and Jeremy educate and entertain. Their show is interactive in that they develop projects and provide the tools for listeners to do the same. On my workbench is an antenna analyzer that I built from information from this podcast.

Big Dave OCGreat podcast! Not your daddy's sparkgap ham radio podcast, these guys know their stuff, share the details so you can learn and even build your own! A must have on your ham radio podcast feed!
