LeilagramBring back the old format pleaseThis podcast is absolute magic. Or I should say, it was. But something changed last year and it became boring and basic. Please bring back the old format. The audio collage that we all felt so lucky to find. It was so special. And we need it now more than ever.
-
P.TwoBearsSuperbIn every way.
-
crisocrisBest, best! More please!Sounds, words, magic. More episodes, pretty please! The world’s gone mad and we need this more than ever.
-

-
Janelle from MontanaA beautiful treatI love this podcast! Love, love, love it. Music, acting, writing - it’s a triple threat. You can even dance to it. Feel like it elevates my mind and alleviates cultural deprivation every time I listen.
-
overphillMy favorite podcast period! So good! I feel like I’m hanging out with the coolest artists when I listen. A collage of poetry, spoken word stories and weirdness…
-
KahBillEngaging, interesting, enjoyableI love this podcast. It takes me on a journey and drops me back later. Great way to pass the time in rush hour traffic.
-
KateKinglsey🌼The most beautiful podcast ever produced!🌏🍁Beautiful sound stories selections. Diverse unexpected. The very best of the East Coast literary scene through the years sprinkled throughout with European flair. Most akin to a beautifully produced BBC podcast. A must hear even on repeat for the over educated and under paid aesthetes of this world.
-
amdubnovBravo!A superb podcast of a superb literary magazine. Joy to listen!

FloraflorafloraThe highest qualityThe sound production, the literary selections, and the choice and performance of readers is absolutely excellent. I had never thought of subscribing to the Paris Review before I listened to this podcast, but now I have to.
-
iFoundMollySo GoodExcellently produced stories, a fantastic archive to pull content from. Got me to subscribe to The Paris Review magazine—on real paper and ink! Waiting patiently for that third season. Would love to see Borges featured 🤞
-
JChristopherHThe best literary podcast ...... From the first episode of season 1 this podcast completely captured me, the blending of fiction, poetry, writers’ interviews, and the occasional essay, mixed with some of the best sound design and music of any podcast makes every episode a special treat. I’ve listened to many of them more than once, and it quickly led me to subscribe. More. Please.
-
2010mbSuper well done.Super well done. Better than an audio book due to the presentation effort/sound affects/music. So enjoyable. Thanks.
-
AprilSanFMore please! One of the most satisfying and interesting podcast I have heard. Sadly I have listened to them all twice. When do we get new episodes?
-
Pee Dee LouPlimpton would be pleasedThe use of old interviews, stories, poetry & music weaved together is a joy to hear. It captures my mind like no other podcast. Well done.
-
sparkle542Unlike any other podcastThe production value and sound design is really immersive. Being a fan of ephemera, I really enjoy hearing old stories and interviews from the Paris Review archives brought to the digital age.
-
cantfindanickname1477BreathtakingDeep, funny, transporting. Extraordinary production value and readings.
-
Saskat-SeismoAmazingWhat a precious gift. Each podcast is so beautifully crafted, so moving, so thought provoking. Thank you to everyone contributing to this excellent experience!
-
The Real Zen BoyMisogyny with a dash of racism.......and sexual assault as a garnish. Really confused how Ep. 16, which was basically a cheesy rap video in written form, made the editorial cut. Why is misogyny and sexual assault ok if it comes from a black man? Is this what we are to expect the rest of the season? If so, I’ll unsubscribe now.
-
Sonrise808Interesting content/ Excellent deliveryLook forward to each new podcast. Thankful The Paris Review is back for a second season! Keep em coming!
-
ninabrujaBeauty and depthListen to Episode 15 immediately. It contains a beauty and depth sorely lacking in our world.
-
superhero1Keeps getting betterReally enjoyed season one. If you want a podcast that is polished and has a literary podcast format then this one is for you. In season two that the podcast just keeps getting better.
-
Jessica Peri ChalmersWonderfulSuch a moving thoughtful entertaining beautifully assembled series. Each episode a work of art in itself. Whoever does the audio mix (credited? I never catch it) is sooooooo good. Thank you.
-
jillian mayerA gift from the heavensThis is an actual gift. Thank you.
-
paula2018keep it simplelove the content but the music and artful mixing are a distraction.
-
mang0licoriceSeason 2 starting strong!I loved season 1—but season 2 is already sounding even better, if that's possible. Starting off with Toni Morrison? That's how you come out swinging. Beautifully produced and immersive. Definitely worth a listen.
-
SkdjfnrksjnfWhat a great literary pod!Love it!
-
Max SaladS1 Starts slow, gets great, took too long for season 2Very glad season 2 of this podcast is on its way. Season 1 started a little weak. If you start with episode 1, you’ll be disappointed. Start with S1 episode 12 and work back. No story arch, so nothing lost by working back in this way. I can’t remember exactly when but at some point this podcast became amazing. The treasure trove of TPR archive is put to work with taste, timing and skill. If you listen to Granta or other like publication’s podcasts, this one is a million miles better - it just didn’t start that way. I assumed they’d given up on the podcast as season 2 has been a long time coming. If it is as good as the later part of season 1, we are all in for a treat.
-
MurasakiFloofTheatreWill this ghastly immersion return?
-
DaveiiiGreat PodcastOf course the Paris Review puts together a great podcast. They have a nice variety of authors in each episode and make better use of music than many literary pods. 10/10 would recommend
-
darina0807MOREPLEASE. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HOW MUCH LONGER? urgency urgency! it’s wonderful.
-
Dresden8Will there be a Season 2???I like the style and the setup to this pod. Rare gifts of long forgotten audio interactions and interviews with some of my favorite authors. Hoping there will be a S2 as I’ve had this locked in my favorites for some time.
-
ksleedyCome back! What happened to this podcast? I binge listened to it only to realize they haven’t produced anything in a year. I truly hope there is a future for this podcast! I love it so much.
-
Elle SimonSeason 2Loved - and still loving season one. Anticipating the next season. Please hurry!

-
sofieindieAre you coming back or you’re gone forever?I have waited too long to remember this podcast, used to be my favorite.
-
SlamminSam220Bring it back!!!!Please!
-
Batmanda SprucePerfectA soundscape instead of a formal podcast. This is the perfect way to share the content with us, and I’ve never heard anything like it before. My only complaint is that it’s so new that I don’t have an infinite backlog of episodes to turn to, otherwise I’d listen every night before bed.
-
Yett BrenglinWonderful podcast!Production value is by far the best I’ve heard of the dozens of shows I listen to regularly.
-
