I love this podcast! Love, love, love it. Music, acting, writing - it’s a triple threat. You can even dance to it. Feel like it elevates my mind and alleviates cultural deprivation every time I listen.

Beautiful sound stories selections. Diverse unexpected. The very best of the East Coast literary scene through the years sprinkled throughout with European flair. Most akin to a beautifully produced BBC podcast. A must hear even on repeat for the over educated and under paid aesthetes of this world.

....and sexual assault as a garnish. Really confused how Ep. 16, which was basically a cheesy rap video in written form, made the editorial cut. Why is misogyny and sexual assault ok if it comes from a black man? Is this what we are to expect the rest of the season? If so, I’ll unsubscribe now.

I loved season 1—but season 2 is already sounding even better, if that's possible. Starting off with Toni Morrison? That's how you come out swinging. Beautifully produced and immersive. Definitely worth a listen.

Very glad season 2 of this podcast is on its way. Season 1 started a little weak. If you start with episode 1, you’ll be disappointed. Start with S1 episode 12 and work back. No story arch, so nothing lost by working back in this way. I can’t remember exactly when but at some point this podcast became amazing. The treasure trove of TPR archive is put to work with taste, timing and skill. If you listen to Granta or other like publication’s podcasts, this one is a million miles better - it just didn’t start that way. I assumed they’d given up on the podcast as season 2 has been a long time coming. If it is as good as the later part of season 1, we are all in for a treat.

Will this ghastly immersion return?

Of course the Paris Review puts together a great podcast. They have a nice variety of authors in each episode and make better use of music than many literary pods. 10/10 would recommend

I like the style and the setup to this pod. Rare gifts of long forgotten audio interactions and interviews with some of my favorite authors. Hoping there will be a S2 as I’ve had this locked in my favorites for some time.

What happened to this podcast? I binge listened to it only to realize they haven’t produced anything in a year. I truly hope there is a future for this podcast! I love it so much.

A soundscape instead of a formal podcast. This is the perfect way to share the content with us, and I’ve never heard anything like it before. My only complaint is that it’s so new that I don’t have an infinite backlog of episodes to turn to, otherwise I’d listen every night before bed.

Production value is by far the best I’ve heard of the dozens of shows I listen to regularly.

These are deliciously packed with well produced stories, excellent audio quality and great editing. Love this podcast , thank you!
