I am a worship leader and I can’t even begin to describe how much of a blessing this podcast has been to me over the past couple years. There are hundreds of episodes filled with fantastic content, both practical and spiritual, that is guaranteed to help any worship leader or volunteer grow and excel in the worship ministry context they serve in. I’ve learned so much from these podcasts and my ministry has benefited greatly as a result. Love these guys.

I’ve been listening and watching to Churchfront Podcasts/videos. It’s been helpful as some who is a audio engineer at his local ministry. I have a topic. How does someone prepare themselves to lead for the first time or find the opportunity to lead when they haven’t done so before. I gone to school for composition (classical and media) and audio, but have felt God’s calling to lead in the ministry. Any advice? -Christian

Thanks for the great info all the time Jake. We are in the process of building a new church and I just listened to your latest podcast with Dennis Foley and learned so much about how we should plan for our Acoustics.

I’m so thankful for churchfront, as a volunteer worship leader at church of about 100 I have a lot of on stage experience but very little practical knowledge when it comes to sound gear, lighting, and video. Using Jake’s content we integrated Ableton seamlessly in 1 week and have been continuing to improve our Sunday experience while reducing the amount of work set up and tear down takes.

Recently been looking into a few more worship, worship tech, and music podcasts/media and what do you know? I find Jake on YouTube and here I am, four or five days and at least 10 podcast episodes in. Quality podcast. Quit reading this and start listening!

The Churchfront podcast has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Jake does a nice job touching on a wide variety of topics and consistently provides relevant and practical tips for worship ministries. I love how he explains the tech aspect in easy to understand manners. Being a drummer, my favorite episode was his interview with Jon Manna, but all of his interviews and guests are very insightful. Through these interviews I have also found other helpful resources such as WLCO (Jenni McGrew) and Sunday Sounds (David Pfaltzgraff). Thanks for all that you do!

I am a young worship leader and Jake has helped so much learning how to lead worship with technology and just advice he gives! Anytime I’m in a long trip I turn church for anon and I learned something new! That’s a sign of a good teacher, that there something new to learn and each podcast! Jake does such a great job at unpacking important concepts for the modern worship leader. My mind is always racing with ideas and plans on how to lead better and how to engage the church. Jake hits everything I think about and his insight helps me to accomplish those ideas and plans. I highly recommend subscribing to this podcast if you want to stay in tune with the modern worship experience and how to lead through it.

It’s been very difficult to find a worship leader podcast that is practical. I feel like Chruchfront helps by using laymen terms without talking down. I also appreciate the diversity in the length of the episodes. I don’t always have time to listen to an hour podcast so it’s great that I can find a quick 10 minute episode that is still full of material!

I love how Jake is making these topics and conversations available for the average worship as these are the very things I'm thinking about and often struggling with! He has a great mix of tech talk, theology, and mission behind it all as it revolves around church sound and worship leading!

I'm a 26 year old worship pastor. I've only been in worship ministry since 2014, so I have been trying to learn as much as quickly as I can. Jake packs in a lot of helpful information into the interviews and short sound bytes, answering questions people have about how to do this to the best of their abilites.
