Slob DylanBeat Dylan Podcast Out ThereDaniel and Kelly set the bar really high for not only a Dylan podcast, but for all music podcasts in general. They masterfully balance diving into the background and history of the music without coming off as snobby. Their conversation never drones on, and their quick wits and sense of humor keep things really light. I’ve been on the Dylan train for some time now, and I find Kelly’s takes refreshing, whether she likes the song or not (still breaks my heart that she wasn’t a fan of Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts). Her takes always leave me with a new perspective on my favorite music, and I really hope they come out of this 8-month hiatus soon. All the best.

GumshoeAndyI might be doneCool, a podcast named after my favorite Dylan song. Buuuut LOL one host just compared Dylan playing the Isle of Wight to Postal Service (a fine band) playing Portland in 2013. And The Band to a cover band! I know the whole shtick is one person who doesn't know Dylan and one who does - but that's gotta be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. After her complete blase dismissal of Like a rolling Stone, I don't know if there's a point in listening anymore. It's not that I disagree -I'm fine with that - and I really liked the idea of someone being introduced to Dylan in front of our ears. It's just that her takes never add anything that I find to be of any insight - sorry. That's more rude than I wanted to be but yeah. It's the way I feel

DtklolaThis is definitely what I’ve been wantingI’ve been listening to Bob Dylan almost non-stop for a year exploring all of his different songs. Ever since I started listening to him, I always wanted to have a place where I could discuss some songs and get a better understanding of them. About two weeks ago, I was looking for different versions of “Seven Curses” on Spotify and I found the Seven Curses episode. I was instantly hooked, this is exactly what I was wanting. This podcast has helped me understand some Bob Dylan tracks, and it has also shown me some new songs (like “Boots of Spanish Leather”)that are now some of my favorite Dylan tunes. Thank you!

Josue EvillaWith Bob On Their SideI’ve listed to the whole archive in about 2 weeks, so yeah, I really love this podcast! Great format. Great chemistry between the hosts. Always entertaining, with a great exchange of ideas and commentary. Also love the bit of discovery provided at the end when they share the pop culture they’re consuming. In geeky Dylan terms: This is the Highway 61 Revisited of Bob podcasts.
