Hi I’m here to update my review!! Still team milkshake as I am almost 10!! My mom said that she’s gonna sit me down and have me talk about Jeremiah, my ghost bestie!! he used to be a boy I hung out with at daycare! I kinda forgot about him…😅😬😅 and my friend Abby has a ghost friend Jerry he always knocks down her posters. One night I was sleeping over at Abby’s and Jerry being Jerry woke me up to open the back door for him because he felt a weird feeling like someone was outside so I stood outside with him and there some tall dark figure I got my but back to the room and after I herd a few feint footsteps I told her parents then I woke up to Jerry trying to get me to go outside!!! Like erm?!? Ps. The only reason I sounded so chillaxed was because Abby warned me about him!! Love y’all!! ❤️❤️ Emma #teamilkshake

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast! I just found it about a month ago, and currently on Ep36 (2017). I want so desperately to be caught up but it’s easy to be patient with all the amazing content. I laugh so hard sometimes that I need to pull over and regroup. I am Team Milkshake (if that’s even a thing in 2025), but I do so love Christine too. I’m not one to write reviews usually but I have to say your show is so so good it is all I have been listening to & from work and whenever I have the chance, I do have a child she is 3 yrs old and so while she watches her cartoons I put my ears pods and listen to you and find my self laughing and she looks at me like I’m crazy! These two have managed to create a podcast about paranormal and true crime that feels like you’re listening to a story from friends. The best friend banter and love between these two keep you wanting more. I love the fact that as you listen through the episodes you get a glimpse into their lives and how two best friends have come together to create something amazing. Keep it up yall

i've been listening since 2022 and can't lie, this is the only podcast i still listen to!!!! it's hilarious, shocking, relatable and hosted by two incredibly empathetic and intelligent people. (despite all the self-deprecating jokes) if you love true crime or paranormal, or just anything spooky scary and a good laugh, i think you have just found the holy grail. love u em, christine, eva, olive, geo, junie, and lemon!!!!!

I absolutely love this podcast, Em and Christine’s banter is everythingg. The chitchat before the stories is sometimes my favorite part, but each story always speaks to the spooky and true crime- loving parts of my soul. And I know Christine doesn’t normally read reviews, but please if you do, listen to me when I say you DO NOT interrupt too much and don’t you dare ever turn that beautiful spirit down. The way Em and Christine’s conversations and story telling ebb and flow with each other is what makes this show so spectacular. Keep being amazing, you two. Your podcast gets me through the sad days, the happy days, the boring days, and every day in between.

Cannot get enough of the banter between these two. I love them both. I love how they are so completely themselves and I love to hear them genuinely crack each other up. The stories are great and told so respectfully for victims and their families. If I end up a true crime story I want Funcle Em and Christine to tell it.

For the love of every one listening Christine. Stop interrupting, and shut up! This show used to be so good but EM can’t even get through a story without you literally interrupting her every two seconds. What you have to say half the time is not funny and has already been answered, but you interrupted so then everyone loses track and we have to listen to you rant about things that are already going to be said. Well, EM respectfully sits there lets you finish your stories. I’ve read other reviews and people are tired of it. Christine be quiet please.

I keep this podcast on repeat. Christine and Em are great storytellers and over the years I’ve fallen in love with them. If you don’t want to get to know your podcast hosts, this isn’t for you. But if you want to feel like you’re sitting with friends, these are the ghouls for you

I really like the show, the idea, the people. But I tried to listen again after not listening to it for at least a year and then i remembered why. Christine interrupts every 30 seconds and for the life of me I can’t concentrate on what’s going on. Even Em stops and loses track. I made it 30 minutes in and had to stop it was so bad. I just wanted to hear the story.

I enjoy the stories, but can’t stand the pronoun nonsense and political opinions. The vast majority of us don’t want to hear about your sexual preferences. Stick to the stories.

I must say listening to this podcast has changed me. I cry laughing all the time and the stories just take me from boring everyday life and stress into the void of just hanging with my favorite people. Thank you so much for being such amazing people and always being in my ear holes.

I know this is YEARS late but just listened to this episode. I’m from LaPorte where Belle Gunness murdered all those men. I’m sure you have heard this but there is a headstone for all of her victims in Pine Lake Cemetery and it’s really eerie and her home on McClung Road is still standing today. Loved hearing an in depth story on something I’ve heard about growing up in LaPorte.

Self-obsessed, neurotic hosts. Not every character flaw can be excused by a diagnosis. Em and Christine are affluent, educated with loving supportive partners, multiple parents, extended family and friends yet they always, ALWAYS have something negative to say. I’m surprised their therapists don’t advise them to practice gratitude and look outside themselves. What can you do for others or to make the world a better place? Constant introspection can lead to self pity and catastrophizing. Sorry. Bad day. Fed up with people describing basic life struggles as TRAUMA. The overuse of that word has reduced it’s effective meaning. The most baffling thing: Why do people want to watch/listen to these two open gifts??? This is one of the most narcissistic, materialistic, childish things I’ve ever experienced. They spend more on doordashed Starbucks then my entire income and they fixate on the very few bad parts of their charmed, privileged lives, failing to put actual, real suffering into perspective. I’m over it.

I LOVE that they vet their listener stories and don’t just read every single incorherent submission like other podcasts.

Used to listen to this podcast but stopped because of the constant political talk/hypocrisy. For two people who claim to be open minded and accepting of others they sure don’t accept people who have different views from them.

My mid daughter for me to like this then she took me to see them 1st show since Covid and now I love the show! Em and Christine are entertaining and interesting.

I have been listening to the show since 2019. I honestly feel that Em and Christine have something magical going on! They work so well together and I absolutely love their banter. I have been a fan of supernatural and true crime for a long time but I also have ADHD and anxiety and depression. Listening to them makes me feel so seen and understood. I love the format of the show and how they don’t take themselves super seriously. I think they both do excellent research and do their best to share the victims stories and or tell the details of the supernatural stories. One of my favorite podcasts ever!

I look forward to Sundays now because my favorite podcast comes out! I get to listen to my 2 parasocial best buds just chat and talk about ghosts and stuff and honestly it’s my fav.

I’ve recently started listening to this podcast and I really love the hosts relationship with each other, how they make each other laugh, or know what stories the other will like. I know they often apologize for the long intros or taking awhile to get to the main story topics, but I could honestly listen to Em and Christine talk about their weeks or whatever the whole time. They just play off each other so magically. PS. Christine’s voice and mannerisms remind me of my therapist and I find that very soothing

You guys are the best podcast !!!! Whenever I have to work, especially on Sundays, you the first podcast that I listen to that brightens my day while I’m by myself. You the only podcast that wants to laugh out loud, but I know I would look like a psychopath. Even though I just listen late last year, I have enjoyed listening to you guys, and you brought me joyed and laughter that I truly needed. Thanks em and Christine!!!!!

Started listening because it was a recommended podcast but it was over a 2 podcast (which I like that part) but over the first 30 minutes was just them talking about themselves

I found this podcast during a podcast lull and I’ve been hooked ever since!!! I love the banter, variety of topics, (and yes, blasphemy! - I play episode roulette) but I’ve loved seeing how Em and Christine have grown so much as people over the years and have grown in their friendship. If you like true crime, ghosts, aliens, cryptids, banter, ADHD tangents, dad jokes, sarcasm, and more! -Then, fasten your seat belts and grab your water you thirsty little rats! Also, if you can’t handle two very distracted friends having a convo - interrupting and talking over each other with love - and then getting back to the original topic - this show will not be for you 😊

I find the reviews saying Christine’s interrupts Em hysterical. I’m currently re-listening and Christine does not get through the first two sentences of her story and Em has interrupted at least 4 times. (I’m in 2021) That being said I love it so much I’m listening to the podcast over agin! Love the banter and all the interruptions 🖤 Yes listening to any one podcast can’t get annoying after a while. Take a break and come back, you’ll love it again.

Not that my review matters, but here you go. I do enjoy the show and have been binge listening for the past year. That being said, I quit listening this week. Christine constantly interrupts Em and from my end appears to find ways to criticize her while complaining about every detail of her life. The fun has been sucked out of this podcast.

I listened to 4 episodes. Some parts are great, and many parts are not . As someone else said the repeated interruptions mid sentence get very old and tiresome. I’ll leave it here… but there’s more. Sigh

I used to love this show but over time, the paranormal bit of the show takes up 75% of each episode. Most recently, paranormal was talked about for over an hour and a half. True crime was discussed for under 40 minutes. I’m not sure if this is bc paranormal stories have more history to cover, but it’s a bummer for those of us who prefer the second half of the episodes.

why on earth did this put a real estate podcast in my feed??? its not even relvant.

I’ll say it: I think Em is a great researcher and they don’t get enough credit for that. Regularly, l’ll listen to their version of a story I’ve heard elsewhere and come out on the other side with a little more context than other podcasters provide.

I love the show and the mash up of paranormal with true crime. My favorite part though? The off topic/tangentially related/side quest conversations that happen. An offhand comment recently altered my perception on life in the best way and reminded me that I CAN do 6 impossible things before breakfast! The way Em and Christine host with all the lovely conversational detours makes me feel like I’m contentedly listening to my 2 friends talking in the room while I do chores, play games on my phone, or react loudly while waiting in line at Starbucks making those around me doubt my sanity. Bonus: people thinking I’m crazy means less of them interrupt my podcast bubble! Em and Christine: Don’t change unless you want to for yourselves; y’all are perfectly imperfect and I love every second!

12/10. Absolutely obsessed. I love them and how relatable they are. I enjoy the banter, and hearing about their lives. Endlessly entertaining and we’re best friends they just don’t know it.

Omg. Does Christine ever let Em finish a sentence WITHOUT interrupting?! Not only is it excessive, but it’s distracting and kind of rude. I get the concept of it being a conversation between two friends, but I really hope she isn’t like this in real life. Otherwise, it’s a good show. Just annoying to hear Em trying to repeatedly get into a story and Christine constantly cutting in.

I love to listen early on Sunday mornings before anyone else is awake. ❤️
