This pod shines in a lot of places but Chris and the team get the best out of the interviewees, both superstars and fresh newcomers. Suddenly excited to watch everyman Matt Richtman break into the American marathon scene

Of course, it would have been incredible to be in the stands at the Armory last weekend, but Citius’ coverage, both pre-meet and post-meet, has to be the next best thing. The humor, the pure-fan excitement, and the knowledge, Chris, Aisha, and Eric bring to meet and race coverage is infectious! Keep up the great work!

This show is great to listen to whether you’re actually running at the time or not. Lots of treadmill miles dedicated to listening and lots of work hours dedicated to listening. Keep it up!

Their insight and reflection offer us amateur runners tons of tips and key mantras I myself utilize when a run gets tough. I love their stories and the passion they have for the sport. I’ve been running and listening to various podcasts for a few years and recently started listening to the CITIUS Mag podcast. Chris Chavez is fantastic—he asks great questions and brings out the best stories with his guests, especially the pro runners. Every episode keeps me entertained on my runs. Definitely a new favorite!

Nobody on the planet gets me amped about track and field, cross country and road racing like citius. The crew is insightful and fun. I almost look forward to recaps post events as much as i enjoy watching the events. Keep up the great work!

Caught up on the last Torch Talk while running a workout and Katelyn ranting about not tolerating any Quincy Wilson hate had me so fired up I was able to blast through some intervals. Love her energy so much. I appreciate the whole team - and Aisha was a great add as well. Longtime Citius follower and I had to pop on here to say that the Trials/Olympics Squad this year has been absolutely ELITE. Every single contributor brings their own unique pizazz to the party. Mitch, Kara, and Eric on Good Morning T&F, where have you been all my life. Add Aisha to the permanent roster PLEASE! Katelyn always prepping me to run through a brick wall. Mac chiming in from the peanut gallery with Takes! Anderson with that cool as a cucumber energy. And you know we’re all waiting with baited breath for Paulie Throws on the phone a friend. I loved every episode! The night cap was always my favorite part. Katelyn IS A STAR! Idc what anybody says. Her energy made me love the sport more than I already did as a former track runner. I too was dying off of Eric’s comments. I watched Aisha run in college and hearing her perspective is beautiful. Continue the great work Chris! Dealing with these personalities everyday must be exhausting but you make it easy and fun.

Best track & field podcast out there. I looked forward to watching Torch Talk after each day of the Olympics almost as much as watching the competition itself. Shoutout to Chris and his team for all their hard work throughout the trials and the Olympics. The podcast was equal parts informative and entertaining. Unlike Ross from Cincinnati, I love Eric and Mitch’s contributions. Eric’s actually hilarious, and Aisha’s laughter and reactions to his comments made everything 10x funnier. I loved her commentary on all the distance races and how Mitch always made sure to shoutout all the Aussies. Also have to recognize Paulie Throws for his amazing, professional, and thorough field event coverage. His excitement was contagious and I hope you bring him on full-time after college.

Have been listening to citius’s various podcasts over the last few years and I think the crew they assembled for the Olympics was the best yet for these big events — they make track and field relatable, interesting, and funny. Chris, Eric, Mac, Australian guy, Aisha, Karen all brought their own touch and it was really enjoyable to listen to.

Loved every second of torch talk during the olympics. I would constantly refresh your live youtube waiting for you guys to come on after each session because I could not wait to hear your takes, opinions, and banter. Each night it lived up to the hype and had me cracking up in my apartment. Really happy that this is the crew at the forefront of bringing track and field to the mainstream. Discovered this podcast during the Paris Olympics and immediately fell in love with their track & field coverage. These folks are equally informative and entertaining! I have a strong feeling Citius Mag will keep me invested in T&F content long after these Olympic games are over.

I am just starting to learn about this sport as my kids start to compete; Citius Mag has fed my new obsession, helping me cement my fandom. So much respect for the athletes. stellar insight into strategy and all aspects of the sport. Most of all, setting a new standard for well-edited yet thorough coverage. Torch talk was one of my favorite parts of the 2024 Olympics! Chris and the crew brought tons of energy to recapping all the races and made me more invested in the athletes than I was before. They also did the hard hitting journalism, like why there was only one Taylor Swift song playing in the stadium. Thanks so much for all of your work during the Olympics and now I’m excited to follow Diamond League to see how many of these athletes do!

Citius is in my rotation of ~8 podcasts I listen to regularly, and it is by far my favorite. The team is professional, empathetic, funny, and so knowledgeable—I learn more about the running world every time I listen. I loved their coverage of the Trials and the Olympics, and wish we could experience more episodes with the whole crew! 10/10

I started listening to Citius back during the Tokyo Olympics as a casual track fan who enjoyed watching during the Olympics, but nothing besides that. I just love a long form podcast recap and that’s exactly what Citius is incredible at! This podcast is the reason I’ve been huge track & field fan ever since, so I was so excited for Torch Talk to be back for 2024. Everyone on the Citius team is fantastic (I’d give everyone an A+ on my report card, no issues with the mental discipline and language in my book iykyk). Love you guys and can’t wait to see what the future brings to Citius!

Citius Mag is one of my favorite sources for all things track and field. This podcast is full of fun and informative interviews with athletes, coaches, and major players in the sport. Their USA trials recaps and Olympic/world champs recaps are priceless. One of the best parts of the games!

Came to this sport late. Did not follow anything track and field for the first 30 years of my life. Now I can’t get enough. My husband and sisters came to me all Olympics long for the back stories behind the athletes and I have CITIUS to thank for the info! The absolute best coverage all Olympics long; it’s going to be a rough couple weeks not having the daily episodes but “don’t be sad that it’s over; be happy that it happened” Thank you!
