Even though Buzz Beat’s frequency has taken a step back because of Richie’s priorities, the quality is still the best among the Hornets podcasts. The knowledge of the game shines through, as it always has since the inception of the pod.

It's been a tough season for Hornets fans this year and I truly appreciate the continued content that Buzz Beat provides when it would be so easy to just forget and/or drop Hornets coverage like most of the national media has. I also appreciate the insight from the Buzz Beat crew and am looking forward to their continued coverage of our New Hornets team moving forward. Thank You and keep on keeping on.

The boys at Buzz Beat provide the best X’s and O’s breakdowns of the Hornets out there. And between them there’s also really helpful and insightful, careful big picture analysis that you won’t find other places. Their salary cap and trade options work is almost always spot on, the draft analysis is excellent, and when you combine that stuff with the occasional post-game reaction pod, Buzz Beat has it all. Keep up the good work guys.

This is a great Charlotte Hornets podcast. I’ve been listening for over a year and enjoy it very much. The hosts voiced their concerns and objections over the Miles Bridges matter clearly and effectively. If you are able to stomach being a Hornets fab I highly recommend this podcast. However, I am terminating my Hornets fandom due to the lack of the ORGANIZATION’S not telling Bridges to stay home following his first and second violations of parole, the latter of which included throwing billiards balls at a car his children were in!!! Come on now! Bridges WAS my favorite Hornet since Baron Davis prior to his legal issues, so this hurts. But losing fandom of a player and team pale in comparison to the pain domestic violence and partner abuse cause. I hope he gets help with his anger issues and I get he deserves due process of the law. But this behavior is unacceptable in society. The Hornets organization should be better. I think the NBA should be better too. Kai Jones gets waved for a video and Ja Morant gets suspended for a video but violations of parole…he practices the day he turned himself in? I am not unsubscribing from this podcast because it is good and the hosts do good work. I won’t be listening for now though. I hope the issue gets resolved so I can resume listening in good conscious.

Absolutely the best Hornets pod out there, bar none. We honestly don’t deserve these guys. The amount of analysis and thoughtfulness these guys put into this pod is evident each listen. Richie, Brian, Spencer, Lee…keep grinding guys. Thanks for putting this product out.

This is the only Charlotte Hornets podcast that matters. Better than the official Hive Cast and lightyears beyond other Hornets pods for the honesty of its talk and the scope of its insight. Only wish there were more regular episodes, but I completely get why this is. Keep up the good work, Richie, Spencer, Brian and Lee.

Great content. However, the amount of throat clearing/coughing/lip smacking/loud swallows make listening to this podcast really annoying. Not sure if it’s just a lack of editing or if no one has ever told them how loud these sounds are on an episode. You know now I guess. Compared to other Hornets/basketball pods this content is really specific and good, but it definitely wouldn’t be my first recommendation simply because of how annoying listening can be.

I love the interviews with former players and conversations with other guests. I think the college and G league prospect discussions and breakdowns go way too long, and get repetitive. Perhaps these could be a separate podcast as they tend to get away from the focus on the Hornets.

One of you talks as if you think every listener played basketball in high school, I have no idea what a pick and pop, bomber, lobber, ghost screen, etc means, but the Hornets coverage is deep and good.

Big fan of this Hornets pod. Most others are built to be either doom and gloom or overly optimistic. This one makes you feel hopeful while still realizing that things can go horribly wrong. As Hornets fans, that’s pretty much all we can hope for.

Content Is good. But why is one person in an echo room? Buy a better mic? Find a new room?

This is the most detailed and informative podcast out there about the Charlotte Hornets. Each of the four hosts are well-prepared and deliver excellent analysis. They also do a great job of interacting with listeners and inviting them to join in on the conversations. I learn a ton each episode and cannot recommend this podcast enough to anyone interested in Charlotte basketball. Very thankful I came across this show.

My favorite NBA related content, love the podcast and the Twitter content. Very objective, fair and knowledgeable. Also quite entertaining at the same time. They have trivia content, greats guests, player evaluations, draft discussion and do a great job breaking down not only the hornets but all NBA teams strengths and weaknesses. Also all are great follows on the Twitter side of things w great content over there. Where they usually live tweet games breakdown plays/ different parts of the game and just a lot of valuable information. Richie also put me on with the Vanishing at the Cecil hotel which is also a great watch. They really do it all and I recommend it to anyone.

Really appreciate the honest analysis from this crew. No exaggerated hot takes, but this isn’t a dry podcast either. There’s a real camaraderie between the hosts and they bring passion for the team without losing sight of the bigger picture. It will be a shame when Brian gets to season 3 of twin peaks and loses his mind, so enjoy his basketball takes while he still has them. Good stuff 👍🏻

Buzz Beat is hands down the best Hornets podcast on the Airwaves. Brilliant mix of analysis, musings, discussion, and speculation. This pod works on so many levels and that is why it truly excels. Whether you are a novice Hornets fan because of Lamelo Ball, or you remember the days of Glen Rice, this pod is what you need to listen too.

The best podcast out there for all things hornets. Excellent analysis of individual players and overall team/ownership strategies, and all 3 co-hosts contribute different perspectives that lead to productive conversations. I always look forward to listening when new episodes drop.

I’ve been a Hornets fan since 1988 (even supported the Bobcats) through present. It’s great to listen to analysts who love the franchise like I do. They are very good and realistic analysts that I always learn something new listening to them. If you love the Hornets and want to do the “deep dive” listen to this podcast.

I love what Richie, Spencer, and BG have put together here. They do really smart high-level looks at the Hornets' strategy, plus deeper dives into draft prospects, player development, and X's and O's. As a bonus, Richie's got a super-smooth voice that should be on radio or TV or something. Highly recommend.

As a Hornets fan it’s hard to find dedicated content on the team given how off the radar the franchise is nationally. Buzz Beat offers a refreshing POV on the franchise that is really unmatched by anyone else out there.

Best is the biz. Period. Richie, Spencer and Brian have a unique chemistry together, all 3 bringing high level knowledge on all areas of the Charlotte Hornets, and basketball in general. I have been listening for a year or two and I always get great information regarding the hornets. It is the best Hornets based podcast out there. The in-depth analysis is great along with the interactions with the fan base. They always answer my questions which I appreciate as a frequent listener. I cant wait to get more great analysis after the nba draft!

One of the very few podcasts I’m willing to rate and review. Miles better than Rick Bonnell. Much better than the Athletic’s coverage. In-depth analysis, NBA Draft coverage, data, and insight that’s worth a subscription fee. The Charlotte Hornets don’t receive meaningful discussion/ attention from national sources outside of a couple points from Zach Lowe. This podcast is pretty close to The Lowe Post centered only on CHA. Pretty special content. Very appreciative of the effort.

As a fan for a team in a small market that doesn’t receive much coverage it is so refreshing to listen to a podcast that covers the team in depth. Between game analysis, player development coverage, the guys covering possible trade scenarios, along with draft scenarios and coverage of potential future hornets the guys really cover it all! If you’re a Hornets fan they are a must listen. -Drew B.

I really enjoy this podcast. 3 guys who talk about a small market team that doesn’t get much coverage without feeling the need to interject random jokes that fall flat. None of them are attempting to emulate a national media personality. Just 3 down to earth dudes talking hoops like they’re sitting in a living room (even though they’re in different parts of NC).

This is a no-brainer. There has been some very average Charlotte Hornets coverage over the psat decade. This is hands-down, by-and-far, the BEST Charlotte Hornets podcast. Each member has their own role, expertise, and knowledge on this show. Richie, Spencer, and Brian do a great job. You guys should all take peek.
