    Great guests, so-so host
Host is a sharp guy, but whenever a guest mentions a location, the host interrupts the guest only to point out that he too has been there. Likewise, when a guest mentions a fellow scientist, host feels compelled to say that he knows him/her too. Makes the host come across as boastful and insecure. Just let the guests talk without interruption.

By “The Impossible”, he means crackpot theories and disgusting politics
Dr Keating is an engaging and effective communicator. Unfortunately he is more and more focused on “boosting fringe voices” or bringing in his (Trumper) political or religious views, and less and less explaining key concepts in consensus physics. He seems very motivated by clickbaiting and building an audience, which may be related to his motivation towards controversy over coherence.

Excellent Guests - Especially in Physics & Astronomy
Dr. Keating keeps things moving along, and through his guests allows listeners to hear a lot about the current state of science & and some very interesting speculations being explored in science. This is especially true of physics and astronomy.

Brian Keating is like the Boy Scout motto, “be prepared.” Keating is well prepared, by his training and interests, to interview the rock stars of physics.

    I don’t get it
Don’t understand the audience for this podcast after listening to the Sam Harris episode. Host seems nice enough but not particularly interesting or thoughtful. Maybe he’s better when talking about space stuff? Gripes: - Suggesting in the prologue that he has relevant critiques of Sam’s positions on Trump, free will, and religion that weren’t aired, even though no evidence of that was offered in the 3+ hr conversation. Also using the prologue to misrepresent Sam’s focus on Trump, seemingly in an effort to pander to Trump-supporting subscribers - Jordan Peterson habit of referencing a scientific concept or story from religion that has no bearing on the conversation but can trick dumb people into thinking the host is smart

    Fascinating
This is my favorite podcast. The host and his guests are brilliant forward thinkers that discuss fascinating topics in many scientific arenas. Even though the majority of the guests have doctorates, the information is accessible to the layman. In addition, the host is warm and welcoming thus bringing the listener in. Excellent!

Brain teasers to start off the day
While my background is not rooted in science I’ve thoroughly enjoyed delving deeper into topics that I wouldn’t have had any knowledge of without Brian’s podcast. It’s a must listen if you want to be a life long learner.

    Critical thinking
It’s refreshing to hear critical thinking being exercised. In a world where facts become opinion and opinions become fact, it’s easy to become confused as to what is actually accurate.

    Perspective
I love this podcast. More so than learning something new each episode, I *think* new and different things after every episode. Highly recommend to anyone interested in new perspectives on topics you may otherwise never encounter, and just life in general.

    Overall impressive program
Very detailed episodes that span the knowledge of science and are understandable by both experts and novices. The list of guest is impressive and Brian manages to find both the superstars and the scientists who work away and are less well known.

    Awesome and improving podcast
Really happy to hear that you are getting back to your roots with this podcast. I had thought about unsubscribing because it was becoming obvious that you were just chasing subscriptions and clicks. This episode is wonderful and the kind of episode that I hoped to be listening to when I originally subscribed to this podcast. I love this new direction and applaud it. Please continue down that path

    Irritating
The host talks WAY too much and should make his questions more succinct and then let the guest speak. I’m not here to listen to him ask questions 6 different ways, along with his comments, before finally letting the guest (who I’m here for) talk. Plus…my goodness…the host likes to show off his gigantic vocabulary. Save it for your dinner parties and try speaking to the masses here.

    Wide ranging topics and guests
What I enjoy most about the Podcast is that you most often can not predict what the next show will contain. With a wide range of guests and topics, and the guests always treated with respect, every listener will leave the broadcast with a greater understanding of the issue and perhaps a change in their own perspective. Happy Birthday!

    Interesting perspectives.
It is impossible to develop wisdom without learning more perspectives. Dr. Brian Keating engages with all sorts of scientists with an earnest sincerity. As such, listening to his podcast helps one ensure the ability to consider heterodox perspectives in matters of science. He is also fun to listen to. Scott Corley

    Impossibly good podcast!
Brian Keating's podcast is a treasure trove for the intellectually curious. His expertise as a cosmologist shines through, but what truly sets this show apart is how he explores a wide range of topics with genuine enthusiasm. The guest interviews are always engaging, and Brian has a knack for making complex concepts accessible. Whether you're a science buff or simply love learning, each episode leaves you with new insights and plenty to ponder. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys thoughtful, in-depth conversations about our universe and beyond.

    Definitely Into the Impossible!
Brian Keating is a renowned cosmologist and professor of physics at UC San Diego. He is highly regarded for his work on the BICEP2 telescope, which aimed to detect primordial gravitational waves. Keating is also known for his engaging podcast, "Into the Impossible," where he discusses astrophysics and cosmology with leading experts, making complex topics accessible and fascinating for listeners. His book, "Losing the Nobel Prize," offers a personal and insightful look into the challenges of scientific discovery and the complexities of the Nobel Prize system.

    Professor and a Podcast!
Brian Keating has a keen insight into reading people. He's an interesting match. I love other podcast like Eric Weinstein, but he can come off as a bit too professorial in his delivery. Of course, that's what you expect from professors, so it's okay. Professor Keating has a great personality for podcasting, is an exemplary listener, and asks important questions. I've found a new show where I can learn and feel excited to learn. I love that I know most of his guests, it says a lot for a society who listens to science without the background in science

    I Love This Podcast
I am a science fan and ever since I read Brian Keating’s book Losing the Nobel Prize - I have been listening to Brian Keating’s podcasts and just love almost every show! He does great interviews with other scientists. I have learned a lot from his shows.

    Dr. Brian Keating is great.
I first started listening to Dr. Keating after he did an interview with Ben Shapiro. I’ve since seen him on Piers Morgan and all over the place. He does a good job of explaining things in a way the everyday man can understand. Give it a listen. You’ll feel smarter.

Math, space, and science have always been a passion of mine, unfortunately for me, they were not where my talents lie. I’m grateful for Dr. Brian Keating’s show, and others like it, for bringing the the greatest mysteries of the universe closer to home. Thank you for the show.

One of my favorite things to listen to recently. Great conversations and enthusiastic presentation of information of all kinds.

    Accessible knowledge and wisdom
Professor Keating is a tour de force of intellectual prowess and down to earth wisdom, born of pure curiosity and communicated in an enjoyable way. We are also able to “participate” in his conversations with an amazing array of guests on far reaching subjects. One of my favorite uplifting podcasts.

Good show, better audio less interruptions
Terrible speakerphone audio on the latest Carroll episode, unlistenable at least by me. A few other episodes have had bad audio, sometimes literally “phoned in” audio. Pretty frequent interruptions promotions and adds, I’m here for the episodes not for the reminders to click bells notifications and email lists. Generally enjoy the episodes despite the interruptions which make me do the work of fast forwarding them. Some episodes are with speakers who cover esoteric topics in a slow boring manner, other episodes are good and interesting.
