I love this podcast. Would not change i thing. Best msu podcast ever! Keep it up! But rod doesnt complain on a 50/50 way of looking at it. For example, the loss to wisconsin in the btt semis, i know that tonje’s reach probably was clean. But the refs were abysmal that game, we need to blame them. Even if they were kind of right.

This is a fantastic show that gives amazing insight into other teams and statistics along with not ever being unrealistically optimistic or too negative about msu. Keep up the amazing work Eric and Rod! Go Green

Can’t believe this podcast doesn’t charge a subscription. Where else can you get detailed pre-game and post-game analysis that goes to this depth? In a world of hype, blowhards and lazy takes, someone has to keep it real. These guys never let me down.

Rod and Eric have absolutely made me a better (and slightly less neurotic) fan. I’ve listened to the pod from day one and I highly recommend it for Spartan fans, or if your team has MSU on the schedule.

If you are tied of hearing from people rant and rave about how Tom Izzo has lost it, then this is the podcast for you. Excellent commentary from people who know basketball and Michigan State basketball specifically.

Absolutely love this podcast, and appreciate both hosts for being grounded and objective, and not caught up in hyperbole.

This is really the only true MSU basketball podcast there is. If you are a real basketball fan that cares to have real analysis then this is the show for you!

Thought we were going to lose Rod last night after the Nebraska debacle. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail. I thoroughly enjoy the insight, and the banter between both of you. The senior leaders aren’t leading! And maybe Izzo will realize the value of the portal, we will need a center and a 3 point marksman next year. Disappointing to think of how this season may end up, but…. There is always next year. And for all the years that Izzo bailed out a bad football season with his talented teams, well, now its the hockey teams turn!! Go Green!!!

Thank you guys for sustained excellence over the past couple years. For the real basketball fan, it is so refreshing to listen to Rod and Eric break down opponents, break down the Spartans, and break down each game with dispassionate analysis —facts and logic— as opposed to the hot take showmanship of most of the podcast world. Rod’s knowledge of the game is deep and nuanced. His ability to explain strategy, strengths and weaknesses is exceptional. Clearly, he’s a partisan Spartan fan, but he values objectivity enough to call a spade a spade even when it’s not favorable to our team. I value that so much. Reason over emotion. Insight over cheap shots. Most shows give you 5 min of content across 30-40 min of stupid jokes, insults and ads. This one feels like it gives me 60 min of insight even when the show goes only 45m. Great show. Keep up the great work!

Rod and Eric team up as the best MSU basketball podcast analysts out there. They compliment one another, are very knowledgeable about college BB including in depth knowledge about MSU BB players and a very good overview of the opponent players MSU will be facing. I have been listening to the podcast for ages and I have learned so much about bb and Eric’s intro is correct because as a result, I’m able to impress my friends and coworkers with my knowledge! They also do additional episodes with guests such as former players, former assistant coaches, future players (signed recruits) and even current players.

My husband and I have been tffinots listeners for years. As avid MSU fans we stumbled on it after questing for more MSU basketball content. We often say that we could listen to Rod go on about MSU bball lore for hours. Our enthusiasm has only grown after Eric joined the cast bringing some much needed sunshine on days when the Spartans don’t perform as well as we know they can! Great podcast and superb hosts! Best MSU basketball pre and postgame shows I’ve heard. Love it

The most informative MSU basketball podcast available bar-none. These guys are glued to the MSU program and able to distill and convey the nuances involved with whatever scenario or topic is being discussed. They do not focus on hyperbole and unfounded rumor beyond opinions as to how much stock to place in a given perspective. They are also very knowledgeable of the situations for MSU opponents (particularly the big ten) and the recruiting landscape as a whole. If I the poor taste to be an Wolverine fan, for example, I would likely listen here for actual honest opinions of my team. Without a doubt, this podcast is the gold-standard for MSU and Big Ten hoops. Well done gents!
