Talks too slow and keeps repeating himself. Spends time begging for five star reviews instead of improving his delivery. Spends too much time telling us what he is going to talk about later. Show is significantly better when he has another person on. The great content is what keeps this from being a one star. If you want 5 stars make this a 5 star worthy podcast.

I’ve been lurking and listening to this show for about a year and much more regularly in the past month. I plan on joining the channel which will be one of my only subscriptions. This was earned based on all of Brian’s great work and positivity. Our time and attention is worth something and I am careful who I give it to.

Great show!! Nice views on the Hawks

The show overall is good, tons of good gems and nuggets for everything Seahawks. My only issue is that the host can come across arrogant and condescending at times. I am sure Brian is a nice man and is not like that when face to face. But sometimes his interactions with chat and others comes across that way. Overall I do listen and enjoy.

A true gem outside of Seattle sports radio. Brian gives amazing insight into the hawks and offers a more fan related perspective into the team. Best hawks pod out there

The must-see show for Seahawks fanatics. Brian is a brilliant reporter for our beloved Seahawks. And even if you’re a jealous fan of another team, at least secretly listen every day and relish what you could have if you were joined Seahawks nation😉

Hawkblogger does a great job with balanced, insightful, data driven analysis. The guests are really good from well known names like Brock Huard to Mike Sando (please come back next years!) to the usual crew of Jeff Simmons and cross overs like Rob Stanton. He has premium content elsewhere but there’s a ton of great content in the free podcasts channel. He has currently delivered more than a year of daily content

I’ve listened to the group off and on, but as Brian has gone full time the content has gotten significantly better. He’s becoming one of the better sports reporters in Seattle.

I have listened to Brian since the show began just over a year ago. He provides consistent opinion on the state of the Seahawks. His guests are well chosen and I will continue to follow him daily. Go Hawks!!

Brian has upped his game! Every morning for a year straight total commitment and he’s bright, kind, opinionated, intelligent, has excellent knowledgeable guests and a community-building mentality.

Brian brings in great guests and multiple perspectives on the Hawks with a sense of humor. This used to be a part time endeavor but is now a full time every day occurrence with National writers dropping by for analysis.

Best Seahawks coverage out there and it’s not particularly close. Keep up the great work

I have been listening daily since episode 70. Brian does an excellent job of creating interesting content even when it is not during the season. The Hawk blogger community is amazing. Focusing on attacking the issue or subject and not individuals being keyboard warriors. This is NOT an easy thing to maintain while in ANY sports community. Reading some previous reviews this is obvious and too bad with how great this community is. Being able to spend 2$ on a super chat to get genuine informed opinion on a team that we are all passionate about by not just Brian but the community is a steal and always such a great time! I used to enjoy this podcast. Superficial analysis by hawkblogger pretending to be knowledgeable about football. Doesn’t understand scheme but presented with superiority attitude.

They start episodes with 10 straight minutes of generic covid talk in 2024. Even worse the rest of the show consists of regurgitated twitter takes that are as chalky as a 1940's classroom. #realchalktalk

I’m not sure most of these guys have much fort all knowledge to back up their opinion, especially Evan. They just give wild Twitter takes.

I’ll be blunt, I love your insight, but there’s an issue with your podcast. The podcast format is a lot more convenient for me in every possible way. The problem, is that sometimes it takes you guys up to a week to put your stream into a podcast form. I think that’s ridiculous, as most of these are time sensitive. This seems like an easy fix, so please, can you fix this?

Would be much better if they got rid of Chicken Little. Want to feel miserable even when the Hawks win? Tune in here! He’s the guy at the back of the boat not rowing, but complaining to everyone that’s doing the work it’s not moving fast enough for his liking. Hopefully it’s just shtick for clicks and he’s not truly the perpetually insufferable cynic he comes off to be. But his inherent, always bleak, myopic cognitive application to every Hawks related situation is unlistenable. Be like Russ and pass on this pod.

I’ve listened to many other Seahawks podcasts, and they are all good, but Real Hawk Talk is much less boring. Yes Evan’s takes can get out of hand, but if you just take them with a grain of salt knowing that he exaggerates everything, it makes them quite comical. You can tell they all have a passion for the Seahawks but aren’t afraid to point out flaws. Love the show!

Podcast is so fun that i un-muted Evan on twitter. ( I reserve the right to re-mute when he tilts after Hawks first loss)

I enjoy the show a lot but agree with some other reviewers that Evan is a bit much. Everything else is pretty good.

This is a great podcast if you love the Seahawks. You just have to mute the first 10 minutes of every episode while they try to sell you clothes. Getting annoying to the point of just unsubscribing.

Real Hawk Talk on Wednesday nights is one of the highlights of my week. The guys are smart, affable and definitely know their stuff when it comes to football. Their astute analysis and spirited takes both inform and entertain. It’s fun hang and a great midweek Seahawks fix. I also enjoy the post-game shows. Perfect finish to any game, win or lose.
