I understand what George is say. Once I saw they were aging Alicent down and making them friends was going to hinder the future story. And what this season…. They kept trying to find a way to get them in seasons together.

The two Daniels constantly talk over each other, never achieve a natural conversation or discussion. They force laughter for things that aren't funny. Hard to listen to.

Please just stick with the 2 original hosts. Savannah adds nothing.to the post house of the dragon recaps

Please stop saying “like”. It’s such a good podcast but saying “like” every other word is annoying.

The host thinks he is clever and know why people think we call shows woke. He seems like a bigot.

I enjoy the show but Dan doesn’t really have an extensive knowledge on the MCU. B/c of that it dilutes his opinion when he bad mouths Marvel Studios. Doesn’t mean it can’t be improved just seems he’s aware really aware of things at times.

Love how Dan and Mia have been able to keep the show going post-Thrones with thorough coverage of all things fantasy and sci-fi!

I enjoy the discussions and recommendations for new shows. I do miss A Song of Dan and Josh. Question: knowing how it ends, would you recommend Game of Thrones to someone who never watched it?

Sometimes it’s a good show and sometimes the host chews ice in your ear.

The podcasters, that is. Excellent, with wonderful finale coverage. The Corys couldn't be more dead-on, and I'd like to see someone actually attempt to refute everything they said. [Dear Disappointed, "More fans" agree with you, eh? Oh, my sweet summer clown. Take a look around. Countless memes would be appropriate responses to such a ludicrous claim. You get over a million and a half signatures on a petition, and you can bet your sweet life that sample is representive of the sentiments of a vast percentage of the tens of millions who didn't happen to know about or sign it. I've got a core trio of viewing partners, and I know my mates didn't sign, but shared the disappointment. Explanations of why such reviews' words are nonsense could go on and on and on, but suffice it to say that you can't help suspecting some connection to D&D, y'know?]

Your podcast on the finale was awful. To Cory your analysis of the fans who liked the show are the complete opposite of what you said. I have read every book and have been a fan since the beginning. Not a causal fan at all. By the way I know how to pronounce every characters name better than you do. I liked the season and the finale. More fans agree with me than hate it. As far as that stupid petition goes yeah 1 million signed it which means tens of millions did not. There are two types of groups who fall under the haters. One are disgruntled Daenerys fans (who by the way are those casual fans you speak of who didn’t have a clue about her becoming the mad Queen). The other group consists of the fans who had stupid theories on how it should end but guess what they were wrong. Congratulations on blindly following the hate group on the internet. How cliche.

Listening to this podcast has literally made me lose IQ points. And then add on the fact that the audio quality is the worst I’ve ever heard. The two Corys come off as angry simpletons who can’t even understand basic concepts. The only good thing about this podcast is the few times they had Sara on the show. She at least brought some knowledge to the show, but was basically shouted down by the others. If you’re doing a rewatch, look elsewhere for good analysis.

I look forward to listening each week. I love spontaneity! I actually enjoy that they speak over each other because that’s how a real conversation takes place when you are passionate about something. I love the laugher!!!! I will miss them!!!

If you like podcast hosts who sound angry and debate and argue with each other constantly, this show is for you. Some of the analysis is great, but entertainment value is low. Could be a lot better if the hosts like each other and had more fun doing the podcast.

Having opinions is good but, too often on this podcast, the hosts come across more as passionate fans than analyzers or reviewers. While they can be fun to listen to, there’s not enough listening to each other and considering other opinions. A lot of speechifying which gets tedious.

This is a must listen if you are a GoT fan. Dan and Company provide the most in-depth information on the show while also bringing fun to the show.

So glad you guys are back. Really look forward to the episode every week. Keep up the great work!

This is a decent pod but the hosts are under prepared and don’t seem to have adequate subject knowledge to speak on the issues in depth and the woman giggles like an immature teenager at everything that could be given even the slightest hint of innuendo. If on a long flight or road trip and out of other things to listen to, there are worse options than this. C+

I like reading the articles on WiC and the part with Dan and Josh, but his co host through the main part of the show made this painful to listen to.

I couldn’t even listen to 10 minutes of the podcast because of the woman on the podcast. She is incredibly annoying. I’d like to just hear what the guy has to say.

This is a great Podcast (except when Sara is on) they are funny and nerdy about my fav show at the same time. I especially love Isis who is a pleasure for your ears. If you are looking for a decent new podcast for GoT this is it.

The co-hosts seem nice enough, and the episodes are occasionally very enjoyable. That said, it is astounding that a podcast affiliated with a Game of Thrones fan site can have such a difficult time knowing character names. If you’re looking for news that can be found anywhere on the web, then this podcast will be informative to you. If you’re looking for any sort of analysis of any substance, there are better outlets available.

I am a big fan of WIC.net and I am so glad they fired up this podcast. Having the two houses is really cool. Keep it up.

Tiresome complainers who seem impressed with their own opinions.

Seems to be more negative than it used to be. I'm not sure what happened but getting it's so distracting at this point, making it hard to listen. It's a shame because you are a good knowlegable group. However, the line of constructive criticisms seem to be more blurred than ever now. Where is the focus? Where is the good commentary and humor? You used to do better than this. If you don't enjoy the show anymore, it might be time to retire this podcast. This is a really great show! The creators are doing a great job with what they have and with the cast they have. I just don't understand the hate. Yes, you can be honest about the things you dislike, but yall really dwell on the bad and spend about 40 mins on it. It may not be intentional, but you guys have got to lighten up and keep it concise. Other GOT podcasts are really outdoing you by miles. Please fix your mics. ...And you're "supposed" to have better connections with HBO? Oh and on a positive note: shout-out to Isis for always staying on topic and making great points and character comparisons when you all go negative. You definitely need her to help keep the balance of the group.

60% deep-dive analysis, 40% snarky commentary. I wish the hosts would stop being so mean spirited in regards to the acting, writing, directing, etc. It almost feels like the hosts are venting their frustrations in a therapy session. It's border line trollish and distracting. I was so turned off by their cruelty, I wrote this review (my first ever). It's a shame too, because when they're focused, they're good at deep-diving. If you enjoy deep diving with fair story and character analysis, check History of Westeros or Binge Mode: Game of Thrones (The Ringer).

OK knowledge of show issues and characters. Wouldn't be surprised if they've never read the books or watched every episode. Random andVery tough to follow. Often, these "experts " commonly mispronounce places and names, have very little factual representation and quite honestly I'm not sure they know the difference between Asha, Osha and Sansa. If you're looking for a regurgitation of the episode in a very simple manner, for a casual show watcher… Then this is the podcast for you! That being said, I think the hosts have good intentions, but maybe they should take a listen to other podcasts such as Radio Westeros, Game of Owns and a Storm of Spoilers for ideas and content.

If you have read the books more than 3 times do not listen, this podcast will distress you. You have been warned.

I was never one to enjoy people talking over each other, especially just to get a dumb pun in. It's also dfficult to listen when panel members can't get the words out, grapple for content and generally stumbing over concepts. One panel member seems more of a show heater then most.

I gave this show a shot because I needed a asoiaf fix, but hearing background noise from the hosts doing stuff while not talking and Skype message sounds are incredibly distracting. There are better produced shows out there.

I love Game of Thrones and listening to the "Take the Black" Podcast is fantastic. It covers everything from the books directly to the TV show. Highly recommended for some wonderful insight on GoT!

I love how Take the Black uses a mix of the literature and the show itself to give us the best understanding of where the series is at and where it's going to be. Very enjoyable listening with a lot of fact based analysis and predictions.

Easilly the best GoT podcast you'll find.

I’ve never been one for podcasts, but thanks at the suggestion of my friend I have found myself addicted to Take the Black. Always love hearing what the Winter is Coming team has to say each episode and now I find myself being the friend urging others to check Take the Black out!
