By far the best OU Podcast out there.

I don’t care for all of your political references throughout. Politics are decisive and already in enough parts of my life. Let me just hear about the Sooners!!! Will not be listening any longer.

Title says it all… only podcast worth your time for Sooner fans. Solid information and very entertaining. Only place I go for recruiting and current team info. The squad is A+

Really entertaining Sooners podcast. Eddies political commentary gets a bit cringe sometimes. Otherwise a fun show.

Great show week in and week out. It’s Sooner Scoop and The Oklahoma Breakdown. Nobody else comes close. Great and timely information with legitimate analysis and great guests where appropriate. Great comedic value as well. Can’t miss for any Oklahoma fan.

Don’t always agree with them but overall it’s entertaining and informative and has kept me listening. But someone needs to sit Eddie down and explain to him he is not nearly as funny as he thinks he is, especially with the obvious ‘controversial’ jokes he whispers. Obnoxious. Also Carey is painful and totally useless.

Guys love the pod I will come back and give you your remaining two stars when y’all fix the volume of the pod. The last two published podcasts have had a much lower max volume please fix this.

These guys think the sun revolves around them and their precious (paywall) site. They have these forums where the dumbest of the dumb, even for OU standards, talk trash. They will then complain about how the fans act when they are actively fueling the fire. Carey is obnoxious, Eddie is a hypocrite, Josh competes with Parker Thune at who is worse at recruiting media. Just all around terrible Sooner production. Can’t expect anything different I guess.

Guys you are #2 for content, but you are #1 for realness and comedy! This pod is my mid week laugh along pod. When I need some uplifting funny content and Sooner conversation this is where I come. #Flyemirates I want each of your 40 times very soon.

Just start every podcast from these guys at the 10-15 minute mark. They don’t start talking OU football until then. WAYYYY too much small talk that NOBODY cares to hear about. I came here for OU football info, not what y’all did this weekend. Smh

Love all the guys but man this pod without Carey was a breath of fresh air. Carey is great, but he just talks so much more than all the other guys combined. Also jokes just aren’t his thing, and that okay! More Helen Keller deniers please!!

Possibly my favorite podcast of all. My one critique is that Carey doesn’t allow the others to talk enough. & half the time he does allow them to make a point, he cuts them off with his opinion of what they’re saying. 4-5 minutes go by without hearing Bob or George’s voice at all. 70% Carey, 20% Eddie and Josh, 10% Bob and George. Can be a little frustrating.

Thank you for telling the crazy negative fans off. Someone needs to straighten up the fan base. I’ve been listening since this podcast began and I love how these guys can tell it how it is. Also so glad they don’t act like everything is exclusive access information with their subscription like some other podcasts do.

Good group of guys. To much talk about non-OU related football. Way to much basketball and other talk.

One of the best ways to prepare for an OU game is to listen to the SoonerScoop Unofficial 40. Having all 4 guys on at one time brings a great element to OU football. Each guy brings his own element to the podcast. When we are lucky enough to have Josh grace us with his presence, he gives us an inside look into the recruiting element of the Sooners that is impossible to duplicate. It’s labeled as ‘Explicit’ but still bleeps one word and one word only (the f-word) so I often think “What’s the point of even bleeping?” Then it’s not even bleeped all the time… Ads are sometimes abruptly added post-production.

Really look forward to seeing this podcast at the top of my feed every week. Wish there wasn’t a paywall between me and more of their content. Way better than the other podcasts that cover OU sports.

Pod is great usually. Content is always top tier. Sometimes it becomes unlistenable because Carey ALWAYS talks over people. Like dude, chill out a little bit… let people finish their sentences.

I recant my previous 3 star and replace with a 5 star simply because you are covering the baseball team and didn’t cover the softball team 🤣.

You come for the OU football and recruiting updates, stay for the soccer dad stories and Eddie tirades. Like Josh, most of us tune out during the basketball segments.

I cannot recommend this podcast to enough people. If you would like an entertaining, well-thought, sometimes belligerent look into OU football, then this is the podcast for you.

Great podcast always enjoy the info you guys bring. Not sure if you have gotten this from anyone else but sometimes when you upload the podcast it will not play it will just load and then say unable to play. I click on other podcast to see if maybe it’s Apple podcast or my phone but it only happens with the unofficial 40 pod. Would love to hear it, but once again enjoy the podcast keep killin it!

The crew are very informative and knowledgeable about the Sooners program. They are realistic in their evaluations and projections. I find their banter hilarious and entertaining.

When they’re talking about football and basketball, there is no podcast better. If you want an insight in to recruiting, there is literally no one that even comes close to these guys.

Perfect for program and recruiting updates. The banter in between Carrie, Eddie, Bob and Josh is fantastic.

Easily the podcast I look forward to most every week! I commute 150 miles total per day and will often run their shows back multiple times a week, they’re THAT entertaining and insightful! Boomer!

The premier Sooner Sports podcast. Josh and Bob update us on not only current players but the elite recruits as well. Carey orchestrates the madness by being slightly off on the bleep button and accidentally hitting drops at the wrong time. What really put them over the top and earned a full 5 stars is Eddie. He is a wordsmith. I am constantly having to get a thesaurus and dictionary to keep up with his dry sense of humor. Keep it up Gentlemen!
