Thanks for giving voice to those that otherwise wouldn’t have a platform to speak from. Thanks also for documenting the history of these people and events that otherwise would be lost to time. The lady interrupts the flow of the conversation too much.

Just because you have a mic, she doesn’t mean you should record a podcast. Some interesting conversations that’s worth worth listening to however, quality of the audio almost all the podcast that I try to listen to is terrible. try to call check the audio levels before releasing podcast

It’s great to listen to a podcast that lets the guest speak about the subject matter without being swayed from PC or sensitive matters. In war most talk about the reality in ways not too offend but sometimes it has to be out in the open so the listeners understand the negative or positive impact on our country’s National treasure.

Guests are great but the host is obviously reading a script.. high low high low

Great podcast and guest but John the host mouth sounds like he is talking with marbles in it and sounds incoherent some days. What’s wrong with him ? It’s honestly disgusting but the guest are great

The most interesting, informative and global reaching podcast with a great information delivery style. In addition has great intro excerpts! Keep them coming.

The GRP is consistently in depth and informative. I don’t listen to many podcasts, but this is an exception. I love guest hosts Chantel and the homie Tim at the Veterans Project!

Every citizen of the united states, should listen to this podcast. Too many speak on the war and our soldiers, without a drop of knowledge behind it. Unless you listen to the stories from our boys over there, and learn whats really happening. You shouldnt speak on our soldiers. Keep doing what your doing man its truly honorable.

I enjoy how real this podcast is. There is not a whole lot of glamour to it. It is a real look into what it’s like to serve in special capacities in not only the U.S. Armed Forces but other NATO troops as well. These guys are heroes. Keep up the good work Global Recon. It is much appreciated!

Used to listen before Chantelle came aboard and with her insight makes it even better. I'm a medic so a little bias. Love the guests you've been having especially Benito Olson.

Excellent topics, interesting guests. Guests are allowed to talk rather than only answering rehearsed questions. Only complaint & reason for not giving it 5 stars is the audio is edited making it sound “choppy” at times. Get that fixed and it would be full 5 stars and my absolute favorite. Love Chantel also.

Just listen to any episode and you’ll understand

This podcast is the best vet and military podcast out there. It not only focuses on the post 9/11 generation but some Cold War vets as well and vets from other allied nations. It is very informative and gives great perspectives. It doesn't inject a certain agenda or political point of view like other military podcasts. Also, this podcast has the best bumper music of all time.

Benito Olson is a very interesting guy and has a really cool story but the female interviewer is horrible. Your job as an interviewer is not to cut off people mid story and put words into their mouths and assume they feel a certain way. I understand she is trying to elicit a response but straight up interrupting someone is not the way to do that. She cut him off over 10 times in the middle of some of the most edge of your seat type stories I have heard on the podcast. Take her off the podcast or tell her to cool it on the dumb questions.

Enjoyed the interview as always. One bit of criticism, although Chantel is great, gorgeous intelligent and love her voice, just seemed to interrupt Benito alittle too much. That’s all something minor. Otherwise both you guys do a great job!!

John and Chantelle are great hosts! Chantelle brings her real work experience to the show whether it be as a soldier or PSD. I download the shows and save them for Sunday mornings in the garage or long road trips! Makes me wish I was still in the Army!! Dam I miss those days.

She needs to talk less. Its detracting from the story and she’s actually interrupting the person the interview is about. Some good questions but tone down the frequency.

There are more awkward silences in this podcast than any other podcast I've ever listened to. The host and co-host care a great deal about what they're doing and being on some great guests. The intensely long awkward silence that persist episode after episode make it a bit hard to listen to at times, but overall good pod.

Okay, so I love this podcast, it has a lot of great info, but it needs more variety. Most of the podcasts seem to all be Army SF. I've worked with ODA, they're great dudes. But there are more than just Army SF in SoCom. Get more AFSOC on the podcast. Rarely do you ever hear anything about them. Another thing, the main host seems to be lost half the time. Like he is always trying to think of what to say. I don't understand because he seems to be an intelligent guy when he finally gets his thoughts together. Like I said, I love the podcast, but it needs some changes.

Great shows, great guests, and quality hosts. You can't go wrong here.

Whether you've formerly served or have absolutely no exposure to the military world at all, this is a great podcast to listen to incredibly interesting stories of combat veterans and related folks (such as news correspondence investigators or even foreign non-Western military folk!)

These podcasts are very interesting and provide the ability to understand and learn from the mindsets of the military. Which is valuable to me in terms of gratitude and respect. I also try to apply the information to improve daily life.

I can honestly say that I sleep peacefully when I have my daily dose of Global Recon. The episodes coming out of this podcast shed light on our nations heroes. Keep up the great work!
