Hillsy111All the feelsUh huh. While the way Jason and Gabe wax poetic about Return is how I feel about Empire, it’s all very relatable. And terribly entertaining!
-
MatthewFeyYeah! (Yes!)Episode 436…AOTC…yeah or uh-huh…my review of this episode can only be conveyed in the lyrics of LCD Soundsystem… YEAH YEAH YEAH / YEAH-YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH / YEAH-YEAH-YEAH YEAH YEAH-YEAH! (Though I’m pretty sure Padme says “Yes.” 😜)

Quazi2623 YearsY!E!AH! Love listening. They have such a great time with Star Wars and are so positive. May the Force Be With You.
-
joshibeetomatoYeah! Thanks Blast Points! You all like Star Wars and remind me that I just like Star Wars, and there’s so much joy in that. You are super talented at the editing of your shows and that brings a lot of joy to the listening experience, as well.

Patrick PalenA Warm and Cozy PodcastThis is the Goldilocks of Star Wars podcasts. Some are too hot, some are too cold, but this one is juuuuuust right. Josh and Gabe have cultivated a space (no pun intended) where you can be free to freak out about any and all of the Star Wars that you love, right alongside them. When it can be so easy to be negative, these guys keep the conversation meaningful yet fun, deep yet humble. Each episode is meaningfully produced and it’s clear their goal is to share the joy they have for Star Wars (and Jar Jar and Snoke, specifically). If you’re looking for a good Star Wars podcast, look no further.

Kiser28If you love the prequels…If you’re a person who still feels like a kid every time you watch the prequels…this is the podcast for you! They break down everything Star Wars but listen to it enough and you’ll recognize some extra excitement when prequel topics are discussed. You’ll feel like you’re best friends with Jason and Gabe without even meeting them! I know I hope to meet them someday! May the Force Be With You and long live the prequels!!

B. Thomas HunterMy favorite part of the weekQuite possibly my favorite podcast. I’m not even that big of a Star Wars fan, but with the glut of new Star Wars content, it’s nice to have a North star filled with humor, kindness & knowledge. This show is also so perfect for kids. It’s goofy and weird in all the ways that they would love. Jason and Gabe have most certainly cracked Star Wars open for my kid in a way that I never expected. Their Skeleton Crew reviews have become must listens in our house.

C-in-MI-DCTIDAll love, no toxicity ❤️The Blast Points duo are the best. This was the first Star Wars podcast I followed and years later, they keep bringing the good stuff. I love their freak outs over all the fun details found in the Star Wars universe. And when a series or movie is running they help illuminate the highs and lows in a way that any true fan would appreciate. And the best part- they love both the new and the old and everything in between. They bring solid points along with the hilarity and fun, but are NEVER whiny, NEVER toxic.

jthoyaCelebrates the Joy and Love of Star WarsMy favorite podcast find of 2024. Jason and Gabe are infectious with their love and celebration of Star Wars. If you like the creatures, quirks and senior citizens of a galaxy far, far away, this is the podcast for you!
-
FelipeviajeroSnorts and muppetsThe podcast hosts are not SERIOUS Star Wars fans! They can’t get through at least one episode without snort laughing. If you are into muppets, analyzing George Lucas’ hairstyles throughout the decades, or talking about “jiggly men” on desert skiffs, then this show is for you.
-
Comic Book BThis show is Big Bold Gold!!I’m late to arrive but Jason and Gabe are awesome. You can tell they love Star Wars just from the sound of their voices. I now look forward the show each week. Thank you guys!!
-
CURBSIDEimageryEpisode 331 & 411This is where the fun begins & is the #%*! Examples like Ep.331 & 411 is where they are at their best & firing on all cylinders! Keep up the great work Jason & Gabe you & your podcast is needed & appreciated! Sincerely, ~Michael Pittsburgh, Pa

Barry WallaceThe Star Wars podcast for the true fan.I’ve been meaning to review these guys forever but their recent episode rating Tarkin speeches finally pushed me over the edge - in a good way. Delicious, blue-milk-flavored trivia nobody but the greatest Star Wars fans cares about. Jason and Gabe are the best kinds of fans - ones that enjoy Star Wars for what it is, pure fun with a little room for heavy subjects. And not something ripe for endless criticism. If you are that kind of fan, you will love their endless supply of Star Wars topics. And when one episode ends, you’ll be ready for the next one. Subscribe now!

I named my dog TanoOh my gawd - Tano is my dogThis podcast is a perfect breakdown of Star Wars with great wit and insight into all things Star Wars! Thanks guys! Also, I really appreciate the positive lens on all things Star Wars. I don’t understand what anyone is complaining about…. It’s great to find like minded people who don’t fancy themselves “critics”. Anyone who doesn’t like the sequels, shows, or whatever are completely welcome to write their own sci fi series, nothing is stopping them, but apparently complaining about things is easier. Thank you for celebrating force! Also, my dogs name really is Tano.

Saber acolyteIn-Depth Star Wars and occasionally Indiana JonesThis podcast is for the super fans who love all that is goofy, absurd, and yes sexy about Star Wars. Recently they’ve been discussing the Acolyte and Phantom Menace. The show is two buddies with hilarious back and forth discuss all things Star Wars and occasionally, joyfully, Indiana JONES. Very well produced a blast to listen to. These guys include their own wonderful musical compositions, quality sound effects, audio clips to really make this show feel unique. They’ve got some nice relationships with other people in the Star Wars podcast community, which generates some fun crossover episodes. They cover unique offbeat topics with vigor rigor and passion for detail. These guys like to keep it positive and family friendly. Always a great listen.

AmatneyPodcast from Ord MantellI found this podcast while searching for info about the voice of Han Solo in the 1983 audio adventure, Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell. The episode I heard didn't answer that question, but it was fun and full of so much other info! I had the vinyl as a kid, and it was great to revisit it. I'm blind, so the record was like watching the movies, but better, because I didn't have to guess about what was hapening on-screen (now we have versions with extra audio to describe the action). As for Han, my money is on David Esch, who definitely voiced Indiana Jones in one Buena Vista read-along (The Last Crusade) and I guess voiced Han in a couple games. Anyway, I'm looking forward to more episodes. Thanks guys!

DEC1024Such a fun podcast!Jason and Gabe are so much fun listening to as they discuss our favorite in the galaxy: Star Wars! They have such a deep love of the franchise and give EVERYTHING related to it the time of day it deserves. I love their energy, positive spirit and their corky humor! They’re the best, and that makes their podcast a joy to listen to, for ANY Star Wars fan!
-
Star Wars After Party5 starsWhat a couple of weirdos- it’s great. They’ve been on a roll lately with a string of killer episodes. So unique and a fun trip every time. Keep it up fellas!

Agent RayBansThanks, Blast PointsTuning in to Blast Points is like spending time with old friends, chatting about all things Star Wars. While I consume a lot of fan-generated Star Wars content, Jason and Gabe stand out with their captivating deep dives and humor tailored perfectly for fans like me. Each new episode has become the highlight of my week, offering a delightful mix of nostalgia and fresh insights. Thanks Threepio, I mean Blast Points!
-
Angry customer !!It’s a Wagyu steak, cheesy Gordita crunch mouthful of Star Wars goodness.Just a couple middle aged guys talking about the most wonderful thing in the world for hours. Even the most hardcore fan will find something new. Whether you want a deep dive into the audio differences of a SINGLE scene across every known release or a head to head list of the best babies in Star Wars…these guys got you covered.

misfit_toy_01This is THE Star Wars Podcast you’ve been looking forHoly Banthas! I’m late to this podcast but this is THE Star Wars podcast I’ve been looking for. Our hosts are witty, knowledgeable, and I truly appreciate the focus on the more arcane and obscure elements of Star Wars. Beautiful editing, I’m loving the well-selected relevant clips mixed in seamlessly with our hosts (oftentimes only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise). Thank you so much guys, I can’t wait to continue listening as well as explore the backlog. MTFBWY

-
HeguiluzThis show could have been called The Joy of Star WarsGabe and Jason bring so much joy to anything and everything Star Wars that I never miss an episode. Love the show.
-
Dizza1280Love these guys!I listen to about a dozen Star Wars podcasts, and while they all tread the same awesome ground, BP goes into wild, often hilarious corners of the galaxy far, far away. Jason and Gabe are passionate about everything from Life Day to obscure merch to even more obscure background aliens. They cover it all with an infectious giggle that makes this an immediate listen with every new episode. Blast Points is awesome!
-
mossman77Nerf Herders and Moof Milkers Unite!I’m a relatively new listener, but fell in love with the podcast immediately. These guys are a fun and informative respite from the pervasive toxic fandom. They are quirky and original. They have episodes that are very in depth, but don’t make you feel like a dummy, or that you’re not enough of a Star Wars fan to get it. They have fantastic guests and contributors, and their episodes go from sound and visual effects to QVC and Snoketoberfest! If you like any aspect of Star Wars chances are they have an episode for you! Give them a listen, you won’t be disappointed!
-
BravedottI love Blast Points during the writers’ strikeThe writers’ strike hasn’t changed one thing: my love of Blast Points podcast. And while I know Jason and Gabe are eager to discuss Ahsoka, I for one PREFER the oddball topics they have been discussing lately. Why discuss Hera and Sabine when one could be discussing Starcade? Who needs Morgan Elsbeth when we have Dorothee? And I just KNOW there is some more Panaka content out there waiting to be discovered! So while I hope the studio execs pay their actors and writers what they deserve, please keep Blast Points weird when it happens!
-
buzguZOG listenerGuys I started listening on episode 7. And stoped about a year ago. And I can say that over the years the content has only gotten better. Tysm guys for so many good memories. -Jadon piper and mario Piper
-
VeneralGeersHilarious, thorough, and deeply nerdy in the best wayBy the time you listen to a few episodes you’ll feel like you’ve been friends with these guys forever. You’ll end up thinking oh, remember that time we drove to Ann Arbor and talked to Gus Lopez and Tom Spina about prop collecting? No, Jason and Gabe don’t remember that. They recorded the podcast with proper equipment, presumably not in a car. But you’ll feel like you remember it because of the show’s vibe. Tremendously informative yet never afraid to embrace the silliness of Star Wars.
-
Nitin the PalindromeInformative and FunI love this podcast. Jason and Gabe choose obscure sounding topics but provide great information. I didn’t think they could fill so much time discussing QVC Star Wars specials, but the whole episode was fun. Thanks guys for doing this podcast. My only request is that you bring in more behind the scenes people (concept artists and such) for interviews.
-
mightyashOnly these guys can make the most niche parts of Star Wars so entertainingMy commute is pretty boring. It’s 40 minutes, one way, when there’s no traffic, but recently it’s close to 100 minutes to get to work in the morning. The drive has gotten so much better though when I started listening to Blast Points. Jason & Gabe are like those guys that you want to have over to play a board game and drink some beers with. They’re silly, enthusiastic & don’t take themselves seriously. They absolutely love Star Wars and they’re positivity about the fandom is infectious. While they do episodes about the latest film or TV episode, the podcast episodes that really shine are the ones about some niche pocket of Star Wars. When they nerd out about a QVC episode from the 90s, a read-a-long storybook that’s 30 years old, or the bizarre George Lucas Japanese live stage show from the 80s, that’s the best stuff! They also LOVE to talk about the sounds from a galaxy far, far away, which is kinda my jam. Listening to Blast Points is like hanging out with your best pals who are hilarious. Thanks Jason & Gabe. Don’t go changing

MigzFettWonderful Star Wars Podcast!Truly a great podcast for Star Wars fans! An amazing show that touches on all aspects of the Star Wars fandom, a delight for anyone who truly loves Star Wars!
-
BilleethekidLike hanging out with some great friendsI’ve been listening to Blast Points for a bit now and oh man, it’s such a joy when a new episode comes out. Most episodes give me strong sleep over vibes - filled with laughter and silly jokes! Thanks for the great episodes and the positivity! It’s so wonderful to listen to a podcast that is full of joy and love for all things Star Wars.
-
Jake YenorBest Star Wars PodcastBlast Points is without a doubt the best Star Wars podcast there is. They mix really informative information that you will get nowhere else with humor and silliness for the absolute perfect mix. They remind me every week why I love Star Wars so much. Plus as a fellow Michigander (Ann Arbor represent!) how can I not support them?
-
PlansdowBlast Points - very precise!Just listened to a great episode with David W Collins. Great episode for sound, editing, and just Star Wars fun. Thanks!
-
mmartin2004A Star Wars (and sometimes Indiana Jones) podcast by fans and for fansIn a world where people seem to always complain about Star Wars, it’s refreshing to hear fans who actually love all things Star Wars (and Indiana Jones) and talk positively about it. Jason and Gabe aren’t afraid to show their love for Star Wars, even less popular takes like their love of the prequels! I just hope they finally land that John Knoll interview and live to share it with us!
-
Loledz2020The Best Star Wars PodcastIn a fandom that can be endlessly toxic, Jason and Gabe are a consistent source of joy. They understand that Star Wars at its core is so many things: goofy, operatic, action packed and dramatic. They also know so much about this franchise without being snobby. I especially love their Mando recaps!
-
Jimbo_is_deadThe Best Star Wars podcast around!Hilarious, insightful, obsessive and addicting. I’m so glad I found this podcast. Jason and Gabe have created the Star Wars podcast to end all Star Wars podcasts. It’s like sitting around a table at Sizzler talking to your friends about Star Wars. Now I want chicken and shrimp. Thanks a lot guys. PS still waiting for some Blast Points sweat rags or head bands.
-
Casey BuxtonNon toxic Star Wars fandom at it’s best.Do you love Star Wars? I mean really, really love Star Wars. Unconditionally? Unapologetically? All Star Wars? Yes, that movie. Yes, that trilogy. Yes, that show. Yup, even that one. Yes, even that one we don’t talk about. Then this is the podcast you are looking for. I’ve been listening to this show for years now and I’m ashamed and embarrassing that it’s taken me this long to write a review as Blast Points, the hosts Jason, Gabe and every episode, segment and guest is steeped in the love of all things Star Wars. No negativity. No toxicity and no gatekeeping. I love Star Wars and I love Blast Points podcast.

Paulson26A Must ListenFor years I would always try to get my friends and family to watch The Phantom Menace with me. Almost everyone who did would get bored or weirded out and I could never understand how someone could watch that movie and not be completely enthralled! I just wanted to find people who appreciated the weirdness and beauty of Star Wars as much as I did. Enter: Blast Points - Jason and Gabe. These guys are tremendous. They truly have a love and passion for Star Wars and this show is something truly unique in a world full of so many Star Wars podcasts. Their enthusiasm is infectious and their insight is profound. I can sleep peacefully knowing that I am not the only person on the planet who loves the Prequels (and the Book of Boba Fett)!!
-
TheAmazingRatsoSo, so sweet! These two guys right here, they are lovable, deranged Star Wars maniacs. They shove Star Wars... all Star Wars right down your throat like sweet sweet candy. SURE, maybe you don’t like all of the types of candy, but Jaxon and Kabe do it with such love and honesty that you end up enjoying even the Good and plenty’s and the Circus peanuts of the Star Wars universe. So let go and enjoy them lulling you into a sugary sweet Star Wars coma.
-
RTJ_SunbatherThe best Star Wars podcast!!!I have listened to a bunch of Star Wars podcasts over the years, and this is easily the best one. It is obvious that Jason and Gabe have a deep respect and love for Star Wars. They are knowledgeable and entertaining every week and very funny!! Thanks very much for this podcast!
-
ben phranklinCome for the impressions, stay for the positivity & depthJason and Gabe are a breath of fresh air of positive fandom. Lore, analysis, humor, great sound bites, deep cuts- all with a smile. Can’t recommend enough.
-
AdamfromEarthStop what you’re doing“The pinochle of podcasts as a format” @adamfromearth
-
tcrydenExcellentStar Wars fandom can get a little wonky and at worst toxic. These guys couldn’t be further from that nonsense. Deep knowledge and perspective, appreciating all aspects of the saga. A pleasure to listen to.
-
SheaZ23A Star Wars podcast for Star Wars nerdsThe thing I love most about Blast Points is that in one episode, I can be cracking up about the most ridiculous things Jason and Gabe are going off about, and then near tears when they get deep. I seriously love the beautiful themes they bring up about Star Wars. I have also learned more about George Lucas’s hair than I ever even wondered about!
-
lutheranzephyrAural Array of AwesomenessThese guys are quite good - episodes are fun and thoughtful without getting lost in silliness or graduate level film studies analysis. Come for the podcast, stay for the obscure Star Wars sounds they scatter throughout each episode … from old commercial audio to interview snipits to some dude singing the Star Wars theme in Italian (?).
