Content is Great. Audio Production is Not
Newer episodes are impossible to listen to because one guy’s voice is way louder than the other guy. It’s like listening to a call in radio show where the caller’s voice is so low volume and you have to turn the radio way up then the host’s voice is super loud so you are constantly trying to adjust the volume. I started listening to the 2016 episode about Pistol Pete but can’t make it through first 5 minutes of recent episodes. Same results on different devices. Content is Great. Audio Production needs to be adjusted.

Great content, but dude's need to slow down the delivery, and find another word for "Absolutely" for frigs sake.

Except for “ums” I love it
Terrific podcast and I think they do a great job bringing together stories and interviews on so many fascinating topics in NBA history. I just can’t listen to it, though, because of Jason’s constant “ums”. It is a habit and many people do it but I just don’t understand how he hasn’t corrected the problem this many years in. It’s such a great podcast but the repeated “ums” are so grating I’ve had to give it up. Perhaps others may not notice or be bothered by it, though, so perhaps just a problem for this listener.

    Top Notch
These guys are the best! Their knowledge of the history of the NBA is second to none and their chemistry is on par with Bird and Mchale.

    Clueless...
If you love stammering, a lot of "Likes", "You Knows", and "Eerrr, Uuummms", and talking too fast over each other, Dude, then this is your podcast. There is a whole lot of superficial research, factual error, and wild conjecture mostly based on PER, SRS, and WS/48. That said some of their guests have a grasp of NBA history, but the two hosts need to brush up in a remedial class on Mike Smrek and Dave Corzine worship, but what can be expected from anyone under 40 who reads basket-reference for more than an hour and then claims to be an expert...

    Great NBA history
A fun history lesson each episode. Nice to see how the NBA has evolved and fun to be reminded of players from the past. Some of the stuff that happened in the early days is just crazy.

    NBA History
Great podcast to listen to when learning about NBA history. I listen to a lot of basketball podcasts and none of them go into the detail with history like this one. I would definitely recommend this podcast to any fan who wants to hear how the NBA became what we know the sport to be today. I listen to every episode!

    Great resource
Learning about the past is a great way to be smarter about the present. And a great way to learn about the past of the NBA is through Over and Back.

    Very Good Podcast
I think the Over and Back Podcast does a great job of looking back at basketball from a historical lens. It's also really diverse in subject matter. Everything from what happened on the court to what happened off the court is covered. A lot of research is done to put this together.

    Entertaining and informative
Rich and Jason do a good job of informing about NBA history. It's a good listen for NBA fans who may not know as much about the past

Love the idea for the pod just not the execution. I would definitely give the pod 5 stars but the production is terrible. The audio feedback is incredibly annoying. The host tries to talk too fast and is always saying um & uh. Dude needs to just slow down.

    TREASURE TROVE OF NBA HISTORY
These Seventies Podcasts bring me back to High School in Connecticut from 1970-1974 watching my Idol Walt Frazier and the Knicks battle Earl Monroe, Wes Unseld, Kareem, Oscar Robertson, John Havlicek, Dave Cowerns, Wilt ,Jerry West and Gail Goodrich for NBA supremacy. Later in the Decade the Merger intoducded Doctor J, Bobby Jones, George Gervin, Rick Barry, Moses Malone, Roger Brown, Artis Gilmore, Maurice Lucas and a host of future Hall of Famers to the League. Bill Walton, Dennis Johnson, Jack Sikma and Gus Johnson rounded out a star studded decade. I have been able to devour this information as a wonderful bridge to my Podcast the Golden Age of Basketball, the NBA in the Decade of the EIghtiesl . These podcasts show everyone how the stage was set for Bird and Magic to dominate the Decade. Everyone should listen to these, as revisonist history is pollluting modern sports. These players would have excelled in any era.
