    Great Content, but…
    This pod is helpful to preview upcoming Jayhawk games, with good presentation of stats to get an objective look at KU opponents and how the Jayhawks are likely to fare. But host talks way too fast, making this a tough listen at times. Locked On format is great and host is knowledgeable…just slow it down a notch.

    Insecure
    Derek is too insecure as a journalist or podcast host. He’s not confident in himself and openly admits he is scared to read listener comments and admits he blocks opposing views on Twitter/X. What kind of journalist is afraid of discourse about opposing viewpoints? Derek is fraudulent. Plus, he plays the game of writing sensational podcast headlines for less than sensational content to get views. Short term gain, but long term loss when those listeners catch on. You can find better KU sports content elsewhere.

    Zero knowledge and forced content
    If you like being forcefed pointless content just to sell ads, this pod is for you. If you like a host who clearly knows little to nothing about football or basketball, this pod is for you. If you like a host who is blatantly wrong about NIL workings and recruiting, this pod is for you. If you like a host who simply reads PFF grades and KenPom/Torvik numbers because he can add nothing else and has no understanding of schemes, abilities, game theory, etc, this pod is for you.

    Locked on
    Good content but the audio recently has been choppy and it makes it really hard to listen to. The woman who does the commercials is difficult to listen to too

    Great content, subpar audio
    Podcast has great content presented efficiently and timely. The audio has frequent dropouts on the Apple platform. Not sure whether that is the editing software, the mic, or what have you. Would not mind more frequent guest or co-host to provide debate or different viewpoints.

    I’ve been listening to Sean Kellerman since he started his daily podcast for LockedOn Jayhawks. He brings great content each and every day with superior perspective and appreciation for the school and the teams. Great sound clips from coaches and players and insight into the teams and the next opponent. Always excited for the next show!!
