Valenti is on vacation and the first episode without him was the Saturday elite 8 picks. I settle in to listen and to my surprise, the first game he talked about was Duke vs Alabama. What happen to chronological order. I was so disheveled I did not know what to do.

The content, hosts, research, and banter are all five stars. However, the sheer number of ads is insulting. They’re too frequent, too long, and the timing is downright atrocious. Mike, Jim, and Evan are being held back by the circus that Audacy is running. It’s by far the most poorly managed podcast I’ve ever listened to. It feels more like listening to the radio, and even then, it’s worse than radio because of how poorly it’s being handled. I feel bad for Mike, Jim, and Evan. While I know Cash the Ticket is doing well, I can’t help but think of how many potential listeners are being lost because of the dreadful listening experience. Thankfully, Mike was able to build a loyal following with his afternoon show, where longtime listeners like myself tolerate the nonsense Audacy is running because we know how talented Mike and Jim are. But for someone who’s never heard of them, and stumbles upon this podcast, there’s zero chance they’d stick around beyond the first few minutes with all the issues I’ve mentioned.

With football winding down I’m fully back into nhl betting, idk about everyone else but I like hearing sir pucksalot give picks on here. Local 97.1 listener keep it up guys

I would give the show 5 stars if it weren’t for the insulting amount of ads. I get they don’t do this for free but I listen to many podcasts and nobody does ads like this show. They will post 8 minute clips and only 2-3 mins of the clip is actual content. They will even place an ad in the middle of this 2-3 min clip. I wish I could continue listening to the show because Mike Valenti is great, but it is out of control.

I can’t get enough. I live in Detroit and listen everyday, to station and pod. This pod is my favorite from entertainment value to the info.

This may be radical and I trust you will never actually entertain this, but I really believe to fix the NBA. We need to remove the three-point line. Let’s face it when the Pistons were good. The bad boys they were going against the Celtics, the Lakers, the Bulls that was basketball defense try to work the ball in a three-pointer every once in a while, but it was all about defense strategy offense get rid of the three-point line. I know this is not a popular decision and I know it will never happen, but I really believe this will help fix basketball both perhaps at the college and NBA level Thank you for listening

I actually called into the local show before the season started on when the talk was on Jordan Love. I’ll say it again, he is not as good as the media makes out to be. Too much good and bad. I’m with Cookies. He’s like the Lovely girl from 30 yards but not so lovely from 30 feet.

My wife makes homemade pizza. She does a focaccia dough in a cast iron skillet. Home made sauce with a little spice to it. Not overpowering on tomatoes. Toppings are pepperoni, sliced meat balls (50/50 ground beef and ground pork) and hot honey. Cheers!

I listen to nearly every episode. Love Mike and Cookies and listen to Valenti every afternoon on 97.1 as well. I will say sometimes it is very hard to hear Mike on the pod. His audio tends to be very soft compared to Costa. Has me playing the up down game with my volume a lot. Still 5 stars but would love you all to figure out why Mike sounds like he’s in a cave!

Valenti and Costa have a good rapport/friendship over and provide thought-out, insightful caps without boring the listener in statistical minutiae. My strategy is to bet on my 3 or 4 favorite consensus picks and they usually make me a little pocket change. Wondering what the plan for content is once the football season wraps up? Anyway, I appreciate the work fellas.

Best sports podcast out there! Entertaining and insightful. These guys do the work and it shows.

Love the show!! Crazy trend I have been following this season. SEC teams vs SEC teams. Home Favs north of 10 2-16 ATS Road Favs North of 10 2-8 ATS Home Favs 9.5 or less 3-7 ATS Road Favs 9.5 or less 10-11 ATS SEC is 100 percent the best conference from top to bottom. The competition in the middle and bottom of them conference is unmatched. Big Ten in conference double digit home favs were just above .500.

This pod is wildly entertaining with a caveat. Listen to enjoy and don’t take it as gospel. It meant for fun. The thing that bugs me is the early iteration of the show advertised itself as not one of those “Joey knuckles got the line at -3 on Monday not -5 on Friday so we won”. Well they’re that show now. They’re logging live play numbers to bet if you get it. And if they get it they count it as win. If they don’t it’s a no play. Well yeah. I could do that all day and almost never lose a game. You don’t get to call out picks where you only count the win on your record. Kinda cheesy imho.

Love the pod, it's a really refreshing reprieve from having to listen to Rico on the terrestrial show. I just listened to a 6 minute clip, with 4 of those minutes being ads. The whole "posting 14 snippets of the show and flooding my inbox" thing is bad enough, but throwing 4 minutes of ads on each one is just egregious.

Honestly I haven’t listened to sports radio in years. Who cares what Don in Troy has to say? I want the hosts and that’s exactly what you get with this. Solid takes backed up with research. I barely place bets I just like to know what to look for and place the occasional parlay.

The boys are seeing ghosts. The books know there is more information out than ever and are throwing red herrings into the mix with spreads. Mike especially is at his best when he is trusting his feel and not when every pick feels like Dave Gettleman is inspecting his prostate (see bowling green). Things that don’t evolve dissolve. P.S. Football coverage is top notch. Great info and insight. Don’t have to be a gambler to learn and enjoy. Sir pucks a lot is the star of the show. Since I started following his plays I’ve been able to keep boiled shrimp and admiral Nelson on the table for my whole family.

Fun to hear the banter. Refreshing to hear a betting pod where the hosts aren’t saying “this isn’t gambling it’s data and science”. It’s fun, the guys are entertaining and it makes football Saturdays and Sundays even more entertaining

I absolutely love the show and the content. Can we get more ads in the middle of sentences? I just listened to a 9 min segment that started off with 4.5 min of ads, then when the breakdown was happening, it went to yet another 2 ads.

Just an awesome podcast! Not just for betting but to listen to them cap games and talk about matchups, it’s just not like anything else out there. These guys are real sharp, not only with the sportsbooks but also in the kitchen. Love these guys! Great podcast!
