    I love these nerds
Since 2009, Nerdy Show has been my go-to source for all the news I care about. And for news I didn’t yet know that I SHOULD care about!

    C-c-check it out!
These guys know their stuff and the show covers a gamut of nerdy topics. The hosts are fun and each is a great personality in their own right. Deserves way more attention then it's getting. Nerdy Show is not to be missed!

If it's geeky, they've got it covered
Nerdy Show is a great place to talk about nerdy and geeky topics of all shapes and sizes. From Pokemon Go to nerd music to real-life mech battles, it's the go-to place for all of the geeky happenings, they cover it all, with a nice Top 20 bow to top the end of each year. Seriously, everyone, give them a listen. - The Wizard of Rhet Khonn

    Be a Roosevelt!
Cap says it all in every opening. This is THE podcast for all things from Comics to Videogames to Science and Technoligy, if it's geeky they got it covered. Plus there is nothing dry, overly technical or stuffy here, Your earholes will be drenched in humor, entertatinment and knowledge and you will leave with a smile. The ensamble rotating cast covers every background, Niche and Speciality so they're able to bring a unique spin to each and every topic they cover. If you like fn at all, give these guys and gals a spin.

    Nerdcasting at its finest
This is the flagship show that started it all, a grassroots group of nerds from Orlando, FL taking the airwaves to excite and enthrall the masses. These fine folk are true nerds, true fans, and true Roosevelts. This show is a topical cornicopia of funny and current discussion, ranging from music to comics to movies to tech. Celebrity interviews including Weird Al, Jeremy Soule, Greg Weisman, Thomas Dolby, Mark Waid, etc that really dig deep into topics.

Good God Just Listen to Them Already!
I think the best thing about Nerdy Show, and the entire network really, is that listening to an episode feels like sitting in on a conversation with your friends. The banter between them is great and their insights and recommendations on media and pop culture is generally spot on. That might also be their greatest weakness though, because although listening to them feels like a conversation with your friends, the technology to respond and contribute to a prerecorded show is still beyond us, and you may feel a little left out. Fear not however, because though you might not be able to offer your two cents on things as they are being recorded, Cap and the rest of the show runners do a great job responding to and interacting with the members of their fanbase who elect to make their voices heard in the forums, lounge or any of their other methods of social media. These might be some of the friendliest nerds out there, so give them a listen, get to know them, and before long you'll come to start thinking of them as your friends as well.

Great source of entertainment and news about all things nerdy!
This show is a great way to keep up with all things nerdy: comics, movies, TV, video games, books and more! They have many different viewpoints and backgrounds that really gives the listener a well-rounded sense of what nerdy content they should be paying attention to. It is great to listen to the show and learn about what would be a great new book or comic book to check out. In addition to being informative the guys are hilarious. Even if they are discussing something I do not have a direct interest in I still find myself enjoying their banter and will often laugh out loud. Do not be fooled by the low number of reviews; this show is well edited and produced, a true gem waiting to be discovered. If a general news show is not your thing be sure to check out their all their other shows! There will defiantly be something for you.

Hey! Hey you! Listen! (to this podcast)
Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages! Ok, maybe not quite "all ages" what with the occasional four letter words not suited for terrestrial radio...but then again this isn't terrestrial radio, this is the Internet! The Internet: that lawless land full of mystery and wonder and awe inspiring sights and sounds...and cat videos, I mustn't forget my cat videos. Anything goes on the Internet, and you (YES YOU) need someone to drag you kicking and screaming with delight through all of the best in nerdy things that are happening. Be it the latest screw up from DC Comics, to the highs of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; the goings on with Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo, to the VR revolution; the possible future full of cyborgs and giant mech fights...Nerdy Show has you covered on all of this and more! Would you kindly give Nerdy Show a listen? You'll be glad you did!

    Fantastic
I love this show. They talk about all the nerdy things that I love, and pique my interest for things that I was never particularly interested in before. They talk about science, technology, comics, anime, video games, and more! Their titular line is entirely accurate: "If it's geeky, we've got it covered."

    Look at the Podcast
Hello, listeners, look at your old boring podcast, now back to Nerdy Show, now back at your old boring podcast, now back to Nerdy Show. Sadly, your old boring podcast isn’t Nerdy Show, but if the you stopped listening to jock talk and hipster wannabes and switched to Nerdy Show, you could be awesome like me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on a podcast with the boys and girls of Nerdy Show talking about tech, video games, music, roleplaying, and books. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s a dice bag filled with an unlimited supply of the Doritos flavor you love. Look again, the Doritos are now Gil. Anything is possible when you listen to the Nerdy Show and not your old boring podcast. I’m a Lightning Dog, HOWL!

I Came Here from 8-Bit Theater...
And haven't been able to look away ever since. The variety of topics covered is absolutely immense, and they're constantly getting better at sorting and categorizing what they offer so you can tell at a glance if an episode is right up your alley or if you should skip it and move on to the next offering in their gigantic warehouse of content. Welcoming hosts, fun diversions, and a broad focus mean that you will probably find something to enjoy here no matter what flavor of nerd you are.

My favorite podcast--fun, hilarious, and relevant
Growing up, I was obsessed with music and cartoons, comic books and TMNT. But, as so often happens to us adult nerds, I found myself less and less in the company of people who shared my interests and passions, and worse-- my geeky sense of humor. I first discovered Nerdy Show after a chance email conversation with host and producer, Cap Blackard, about 3 years ago. He was friendly, polite, and gracious to a total stranger. He mentioned his podcast, and I looked up its Website. After putting it off for awhile, I finally gave it a listen. Here's some context: I had just moved to Maine with my family, and was working remotley from my home full-time. I had young children, and knew no one in my new community. Suffice it to say, I didn't get out much, and I felt isolated. I started finding solace and company in podcasts during my work day. With Nerdy Show, i felt like I had re-connected with my long-lost tribe. On snowy, grey Maine days, I would work away on my computer while laughing over the very first State of the Empire or Nerdy Show Book club episodes. In between new episodes, I would delve into the archives and happily gobble up all the older episodes I had missed the first time around. The cast of the show is funny, insightful, and just diverse enough in their backgrounds and passions that you never get bored or frustrated. You can tell right away that they are gret friends outside the show, and they make you wish you lived nearby so you could hang out and talk comics, video games, books and movies with them. And best of all, while they occasionally embrace their inner angry nerd (see the latest review of Batman V. Superman), they generally align themselves with the light side of the force -- they're positive and joyful about the things they love, and they genuinely want you to love those things, too. If you have any nerdy inklings, I reccommend this podcast above all others. Its a fantastic show, I hope it continues on for many years to come -- all across the multiverse.

Come for geekery, stay for the new family
I've been an avid listener of this show for six years. Never have I ever come across a podcast with this level of genuine heart. The Nerdy Show crew spill their souls into providing engaging and well researched content. Once they settle into a topic you'll feel like you're at the pub with a some good friends who just got started on their favorite subject. And man, these guys are true nerds in that they really celebrate the things they love. Where most settle for the refrence, or rote excitement, the Nerdy Show enthusiatically delves into the why and how of things. What makes a work engaging. How this new development may change the franchise. The main host Cap is an incredible interviewer who has had facinating converstaions with all kinds of folks from DC comics writer Gail Simone, to Skyrim composer Jeremy Soule, to the legendary Weird Al. He knows how to build a genuine rapport that reveals all kinds of amazing facts and stories. If my review doesn't move you to check this program out, then please go against your gut and give this show a chance. I don't think you'll regret it. Despite a small viewership and modest Pateron income these folks obviously throw an insane amount of time into this true labor of love.

    Great stuff!
Came to Nerdy Show after blazing through way too much of another podcast on the network, Friday Night Fanfiction. This podcast is exactly what I was looking for in terms of lighthearted nerd news without any additional fluff.

Brings the Nerdy, every other week!
It's always a pleasure to get to listen to the Nerdy Show crew. This part of their network is typically about current events in gaming, comics, culture, and what other nerdy things may have your attention. And make SURE you scroll down to find the latest FINAL BOSS episode, it wraps up some of the coolest, nerdiest things that happened in the last year. The team has also taken the time in the past to tackle fan-requested topics, sometimes they're short microsodes but a few times they explode into very awesome undertakings (I recommend searching for Food Crawl!) You can't go wrong with this show in your feed.

The Best A Nerd Can Get
There's no better way to say that this podcast right here is the best on the internet. If you like anything even a little geeky at all then Nerdy Show has something for you. It's funny and positive and just weird enough that you feel like maybe shouldn't be listening to it but are totally going to anyway because you know what? You're a little weird too, and these are your people.

All your nerdy news in one place
I've been listening to this show for years. They're a great source for nerdy news and entertainment. They've also spawned a massive network full of content that will satisfy even your strangest interests. Do yourself a favor and give them a listen, you won't regret it. (Unless the episode is some kind of 'All Brandon All The Time Spectacular,' in which case I make no promises)

    Everything Geeky, for Everybody!
Nerdy Show is a podcast that spawned a network. Originally a college radio show ran for and by central Florida geeks, Nerdy Show has expanded into a network of podcasts, videos, streaming music, and articles that strive to cover every bit of fandom and nerd culture. The central podcast has changed formats a few times over the course of its run, but currently consists of a podcast feed with a titular main show every two weeks, and a variety of additional programming. These other podcasts include Flame On, a podcast about gay nerd culture, Wicked Anime, an anime fan show, Dungeons and Doritos, a popular role playing live reading/audio drama, and even a book club! One of Nerdy Show’s strengths is that it is inherently positive about nerd culture. The podcast casts a wide net and has a little bit of everything, but still seems to find the good. Geek culture is about having an unabashed love for something, and that love shines through, whether the topic is Star Wars, tech news, or voice actors of the eighties. As their motto says, if it’s geeky, they’ve got you covered. Their fan community an outreach is also really well maintained. Through their own forums, social media, and even now Patreon, Cap and his crew have an amazing outreach to their fans, and their fans keep them afloat. Nerdy Show is as much a community as it is a podcast, and even has their own unofficial headquarters in Orlando, Florida’s nerd-themed hang-out The Geekeasy. Nerdy Show is a team of geeks creating their own network of geek entertainment, and delivering a high quality set of shows. No matter what your nerddom, there is something there for you, so go check them out at nerdyshow.com.

    The Computer is your Friend
The Paranoia XP actual play was hilarious. The background music and sound effect really added to the game. The cast played their parts very well and had me laughing. Great job.
