Alex, Justin, and Pete - the Comic Book Club crew - keep me up to date every Wednesday with what’s going on with in dozens of books on the comic shop shelves, and they often highlight indie gems that I manage to miss from the publisher previews. These guys know comics, and their obvious enjoyment of their friendship and their shared love of comics makes this show a must listen. My favorite part is when one of the guys disagrees with Pete, and then Pete just screams profanity at his cohosts for a while. Listening, they love everything, but never have explanations besides “i love everything” plus they don’t seem to know anything about the wider continuities of any of the current books or companies. Big Skip

Listen to these guys if you love comics! Fresh takes all around. Learned to know & love these fine gentlemen. The what seems to be self appointed host Alex is wonderful mix of roller rink DJ mixed with NPR radio host. Justin is there. Then there’s the real meat & potatoes to the show, Pete. The man just has great taste. Really wish Alex would stop cutting him off. I look forward to hearing them discuss the books weekly. As far as request for things to revisit, either the Avengers: Childrens Crusade. Love me some Doom & that scarlet witch latvarian armor is dope. I’d also love to hear you’re take on strange academy, to date. With the news of Scottie returning to the title, might me cool to touch on.

I love this podcast and wish it was twice as long. Alex is a great host, but more importantly, a great straight man for Justin and Pete, who are hilarious when they bicker. It might be the podcast that gets the most genuine laughs out of me. Also, they will keep you up to date on all the hot comics and review some smaller indie stuff. They have definitely turned me on to some books I might not have even known existed if they hadn’t brought it to my attention. Definitely recommend!

I depend on this podcast almost exclusively to find out what new comics I should be checking out. I don't read too much super hero stuff.. some dabbling here and there.. but I still love to hear what's going on in those books. It's like a little bit of fun gossip. Who doesn't love that? They cover a great variety of stuff and I am super appreciative of that! This is the most fun way to get a rundown on some of the best comics coming out each week!

This is a great podcast reviewing new and upcoming comic books. The hosts are funny and smart and review a variety of books. Their varied interests and personalities give the listener mulitple perspectives on new books which has helped me out when trying to decide which books I should pick up. I listen every week and recommend everyone else do the same.

After listening to the most recent episode of the live show, I finally understand Logan’s point. When there is an obnoxious guest on the show.....the show suffers, but that never happens on the stack! Still check out the live show, it’s really great and the father of The Stack, the guests are just comic book geeks, they’re not good in public.
