Update: these guys have lost a step or two. The homer takes on any west coast team are bad and their home bias of Atlanta and knowledge of only east coast teams shows. Tas cant say anything positive about the Clippers without giving a backhanded compliment in the process. It’s clear they really don’t watch any games in Pacific Time. The emergency pods have been clutch. Covers the depth of the season and off season. Watching on YouTube is even better but that isn’t possible sometimes for me.

A couple of days ago, I was just doing my routine browse of the NBA YouTube channel when I decided to click on the “most popular videos” tab on the YouTube mobile app, and to my absolute surprise, THE STARTERS “Top 10 celebrity reactions” is the most viewed YouTube video on the official NBA channel, having over 55 million views! Congrats, even though you guys probably already knew this.

It’s cool to feel like I’ve got something so great all to myself but man, I would love to see No Dunks really blow up. You guys have been so consistent and so good for so long. It pains me how many people are sleeping on No Dunks. I feel there’s probably a lot of people out there from the Starters days that don’t know about you guys rebranding. I was one of them. I’ve been watching/listening to you guys since 2016, and I’m not positive I’ve stuck with a program quite like this one. You have been through late high school, college, my first job, my first fan title (Bucks in 21) with me. I’m now married and own a house…but the one thing that hasn’t changed much in my life since 2016 is this group still getting daily play. No Dunks is the best, thank you for nearly a decade of hilarious and informative shows. Can’t wait to see how you guys continue to improve.

There’s a trillion reasons no dunks is an easy five star, the reason I chose is Trey Kirby has the best takes around (except for early Cade Cunningham)! I’ve eagerly waited for someone brave enough to say arrival should be talked about how interstellar is. TK being the man to finally do it was incredible for me and not surprising at all!

While all my friends have stopped watching the NBA due to the common grievances, this podcast has kept me hyped season after season. I loved The Starters on NBA TV and was so sad when that ended. I had no idea they also had a podcast until way later. I found No Dunks right after Leigh Ellis left (also sad). These guys help me love the game more than I would on my own. This pod helped me re-fall-in-love with the NBA. I was an NBA sicko in the mid-2000s as a kid but fell off in my college and early adulthood years in the 2010s. Then in 2022 my formerly sports-averse wife (she’s a sicko now too) got hired as a graphic designer with the Memphis Grizzlies and I was BACK. I saw Trey Kerby outside of the United Center after the 2020 All Star Game and I was so star struck that I didn’t yell “AYO” but simply said “hey, The Starters!” and hi-fived him. It is the second biggest basketball related regret of my life right under the time I forgot to add protein to Dwight Howard’s “Jamaican Jammer” smoothie in the summer of 2008, consequently leading to me cursing myself throughout the 2009 NBA finals as my beloved Magic fell to the Lakers because just a little more muscle on those ginormous shoulders (and/or one lay-up by Courtney Lee) could have made the difference. Anyways, I love the pod.

I teach middle school and am on Thanksgiving break so hearing those words gave me involuntary body shivers. Let me forget about that nonsense for a few days before I’m back to work! Growing up it's always been the joke in our house that Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon of Pardon the Interruption were like my 'uncles.' This is because I guess my dad had PTI playing in the delivery room when I was born. Thus, uncle Mike and uncle Tony became a part of my 'sports media family.' For some reason I like to think of you guys as my other uncles on the other side of my sports media family. The basketball loving ones, who have been talking hoops since before I was born. Anyways, love the show!

As a guy who has SPORTS tattooed on his thigh in the EA Sports font (can’t figure out how to attach photos, probably for good reason), this show is a must listen. We are talking about around the league coverage with humor and skill. Every member of this show keeps you on your toes and makes you a better basketball watcher, talker, and debater. I know more about hoops than I ever thought I would, and I’m happy about it. Thanks for covering such a dynamic league!

I found these fellas during the Bubble season and they saved me from the darkness of the pandemic. The first episode I listened to was Lee Ellis listing off his favorite U2 tracks that he submitted to some random Sirius XM radio show. He was very serious, it was hilarious. I remember knowing at that moment this was the show for me. Start listening for the in-depth basketball talk and stay for the LARFS.

Best use of a couple of bros and some mics since the beatles maybe. Seeing Bron and Bronny play could go down in history, and the vitriol in Boston when Kerr comes back could be amazing..? to witness, plus all the “revenge” games of traded teammates. Back in tbj days when they were still in, as an ignornant american im gonna guess, Toronto, i was pleased to find a podcast for the hardcores. Leigh’s very solid play segment was a precursor to the current title of the show? As a bit of a Tim Duncan myself, i hadnt realized that denim styles had passed me by. Fortunately the show had a drop they played that said “skinny jeans, i dont get it.” I thought “me neither” but they kept mocking old injured players in street clothes of giant baggy jeans. So i took my phone to the pants store and showed them the tbj podcast logo which at the time was a below the shoulder shot of someone, im gonna guess skeets, wearing jeans & dribbling a basketball. I told the clerk i needed jeans like this and thats how i got unstuck from my 90’s baggy clothes habit. I still dont get skinny jeans but i avoid the fracas of pants leg width brought on by the current 90’s style revival by sticking to mid width 501’s so i can concentrate on what really matters: sitting on the couch with my wife on a weeknight and teaching her the difference between a drag screen and a spain pnr
