After years of sub-par podcasts from the Tigers, The Road To Detroit debuted in 2019 to spotlight the main thing that Tigers fans we’re excited about - the team’s future. Host Dan Hasty brings a refreshing level of professionalism and expertise (he is the play by play voice of the Tigers’ High-A affiliate). The interviews of rising star players and top prospects are timely and revealing. The interviews seem to be High-A heavy, but again, that’s where the production team is based (Grand Rapids). I hope the Tigers take a cue from their minor league colleagues and produce a quality podcast for their many fervent fans.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and I am kicking myself for taking so long to write a review. Dan Hasty is the man and I love listening to the interviews he does with all of these minor league players. The content is relevant and also gets you AMPED for the future at Comerica. Keep it up guys!!

Through a long rebuilding in Detroit, it has been a great listen to hear about the clubs future. Dan gives great information, as well as interviews with real substance. I highly recommend this pod to any Tigers fan curious about the club’s future, or minor league fans.

Dan’s interviews are a hit with me..more like a “Grand Slam”. Dan gets the best out of those he interviews & presents it in a very professional manner. His producer Nate is a great assist.

As a baseball — and especially a Tigers — aficionado, this podcast is a “must listen to.” Hasty not only has the best guests, but also offers tremendous guests. Getting Sakowski right before the draft was a coup! Anyone even remotely interested in the Tigers minor leagues should tune in regularly.

One of my favorites to listen to every year! Dan does a wonderful job and it’s a must listen to podcast for any Tigers fan.

Easily the best show that people haven’t heard of. I wish there were new episodes during the off-season, but the ones we get are really well done. Props to Dan Hasty and the Tigers for putting this together.

Amazing show! Dan Hasty is flawless in his delivery and gives us a glimpse into many of the Tigers Minor League prospects—including prospects well beyond the top 30. The show is fun, informative and well polished. Tiger fans are lucky to have an opportunity to listen to a show like this!

Revisited the podcast last week on a drive to and from Toledo to see the Mud Hens from Detroit. Will have this week’s episode in my ear at Comerica Park today. Great stuff on the bright future of the Detroit Tigers!

I was so sad when baseball was canceled for our beloved minor league affiliates in 2020. I became a listener in 2019 to keep up with the bigger prospects the Tigers had drafted and to hear about fast risers in the system. Dan does a fantastic job to keep you informed on everything that’s going on in the minors with always informative and great interviews. You guys are the best and I appreciate a new podcast in my feed every week.
