    Right On.
They do what you need em to do how you want em to do it. I think Danny my be the sweetest boy in podcasting. Their trip throughout Europe has been infinitely entertaining. Chris is very compelling. Listen.

    Great job guys
Danny, your getting better every cast. Cris, you are the glue that binds the show together. Myka, you are one of those women that "what comes into your head, comes out of your mouth" and please don't ever change that' because you are terrific.

The Comical voice offers a genuine and honest perspective to comedy
In addition to providing great interviews and fabulous comedy voices this show provides a true life perspective of young comics struggling in New York City to discover there voice and grow the fanbase through deication and hard work. It introduces you to many young and up and coming comedy forces and also shed light into the New York Improv scene and even the New York Subway busking network. Overall great work and just all around fun.

    Definitly worth a LISTEN!
Hey I just wanted to pop in and tell everyone that Comical Radio is one of the most amazing Podcats to date. The mixture of comical tongue and topical information always keeps me interested as a side dish, with the main course being the interviews. They always pick the perfect people to interview and I must say that Joe, Chris, & Danny all do a wonderful job with this project!

    This show is amazing!!!
The first episode I ever heard I was hooked from minute one! Truly one of the best podcasts ever made. If you haven't subscribed already you need to do so right now! The only thing I regret is that I didn't find this masterpiece early. I now wonder how I ever survived without this show!!!

    awesome show!
Comical Radio is AWESOME! I'm actually a former KATG fan introduced to Comical Radio via the life coach episode (which was crazy hilarious) and was all set to hate Danny (who came off somewhat petulant and evasive on KATG), only to find a guy who definitely is well aware of his dramatic tendencies and purposely plays up his stories for effect, and really, who wants the boring, unfunny version anyway? (His rousing speech at the old folks' home was comedy goal!) Listening to the episodes shows that he's ultimately a good guy with a big heart who enjoys entertaining people and is willing to take a joke to the ends of the earth to do so (if to a fault). The KATG vs CR beef is just silly - I like Chemda and Keith but they can be ridiculously stubborn and moralistic once they've made their Final Judgment on people's characters. I really found it unattractive when Iacono showed up on their show, and they both (ungraciously) tried to paint CR as an "attack dog" show. CR as mean-spirited? Nothing could be further from the truth – CR is *insanely* good-natured, with well-humored hosts who never take themselves too seriously and who are always willing to laugh at themselves first. If they're a little aggressive in their questioning of guests, it's usually motivated by an earnest searching curiosity/ genuine admiration and more than tempered by a decent amount of self-deprecation. Guests may initially feel unsettled and unused to the format as their hosts sometimes seem to forget about them in heated banter, but if they’re ANY fun at all, they know not to take things too seriously and join in. This isn’t your typical Q&A interview show; it’s crashing the most fun table at a bar. Danny is always sincerely appreciative, Iacono is probably the most thoughtful/perceptive when it comes to interviewing and he’s pretty eloquent in general, Dave Kasten had to grow on me but I think he’s hilarious now, and I’ve always appreciated Myka for her forthright honesty and sharpness. I’m glad that we now get five days of Comical Radio, although I’ll confes that I like Mondays best, because it’s when all my favorites get together. You can tell how everyone loves each other underneath all that teasing (even on bad days where it can briefly sour). *Fantastic* guests, hilarious hosts, and witty fast-paced humor – LISTEN TO COMICAL RADIO.

    Finally!
something that is worth the effort it takes for me to download it!! (Well, my phone does most of the work, but it makes me glad that I spent hundreds of dollars on it.) Either way, the show is good and I'm glad that it exists. I hope to be a guest on it soon!!!

    Murderers!
This show really cracks me up... even though many of their guests turn up dead shortly after doing the show.

    Horrible and unprofessional
It's a very poor show, the hosts are not funny at all, they just talk over each other constantly, it's sad that such great comedy guests go to waste. Also the sound is horrible, it's unlistenable with headphones, you'd think someone would adjust the volume levels since it's not even live. There are much better comedy podcasts out there.

Show is hilarious & interesting guests
I have been a longtime KATG listener and was first introduced to Comical Radio when Danny was on the show a few months back. I tried listening to the show then but didn't really get into it. After Chris was on again on KATG, I was impressed that he stood his ground in defense of the Greg Giraldo episode, so I gave it another listen, and I absolutely LOVE the show! Went back and listened through several episodes in one day and have downloaded 30 more episodes to listen the next couple days. Great range of guests, funny and smart with interesting topics. All four hosts are great with their individual quirks, but hilarious, nonetheless. Sound mix seems to have been fixed! I am glad I gave them another listen because it is my favorite show now! Give them a listen, you won't regret it.

    great
this show is amazing, i am also a KATG fan, I think Keiths shots at Danny were completely unwarrented, great program.

    hosts are not funny
As much as I like the Sklar Brothers, I just had to stop listening. The hosts are not funny at all and disrupted the flow of everything. They're like that dude you meet a party who's nice enough, but trying to be funny all the time, makes sure to tell you he's starting out in standup, maybe taking improv, thinks he's being subversive, but is just loud and obnoxious. Terrible.

    Great show!
I don't miss any episodes. They've gotten MUCH better over the past few months. The chemistry in the cast has really gelled since Danny took a month off and the support cast had to step up. (all of them were quite good in the lead chair, btw) Now that Danny is back, these guys are putting out some great radio! Suggestion - the sound was perfect when Chris hosted/ran the board - maybe fix your compression? Danny, don't cry - you're not any more socially inept than the rest of the losers on this podcast! Former KATG listener. Keep up the great work. Stoked that you are going to 5 days a week. Definitely rope Myq into this show. (Ditch the opener - it's too long, old, and boring - send it back to 1994 where it belongs.) Dang, I meant this to be a positive review, not a rambling, peevish rant. Love you guys! Keep it up!

    Loud and Obnoxious
They need to get a better engineer. The audio is so bad; it gets soft then Myka's voice is so loud it is piercing. I am constantly adjusting the sound and they all get louder when they try to talk over one another and it is just loud and obnoxious! The sound engineer needs to be fired since they obviously do not know how to mix the sound! The content is also obnoxious. They badger the guests and think they are being so "edgy" but they are just being pushy and cruel. When Greg Giraldo died, I immediately thought of the episode they pushed him to his limits and he ended up walking out. They start out the interview with accosting him then they bring up all his dirty laundry and continue to poke and dig at it. Then they spend the rest of the time trying to justify it. They need to reconsider their show and game plan, I am stopping listening because it is just loud and obnoxious.

    Too Many Cooks
Take three comics and throw them in a blender, turn the speed up until it's so loud you can't think. Then take that annoying mixture and pour it over Myka Fox. Now throw in a dash of interesting guest, just small enough so you barely notice. Serve with an endless side of complaining about gigs you didn't get, but make sure not to add any personal responsibility. There's your recipe for Comical Radio. I wish it was better, but I think there's just too many comics trying to make each other laugh and not enough actual radio experience. I think Myka Fox should have a show with one other person and some guests. I usually wouldn't leave a bad review for anything, but they begged for reviews on the show so here it is.

    Awesomeness
This show is hilarious. It's great to see people interviewed in a relaxed setting rather than simple publicity oppurtunities. The hosts are funny and down to earth. The beginning episodes of the show werent as well done but recently the group has really come into there own in perfecting the show. Give it a chance and download something recent and i really doubt you'll be dissapointed. happy listening peeps

    Boring & just a mess
I was searching for Aziz, one of my favorite comedians. I gave the interview close to 25 minutes and can't even believe I lasted that long. People are constantly interupting the guests and talking over one another. Aziz could barley get a word in, when they did have a dialogue it was a boring run down of the host fumbling through the Aziz Ansari imdb page & begging Aziz for work. To quote the host, "what's it like being on sets and stuff?". A few other guests I'd like to hear yet I can't bring myself to continue listening.

    Love it but.....
It took me a few but I love listening to this show. Love it. But come on and give me new updates. It's been 6 months since the last. I need more!

Great interview show about stand-up comedians
I really enjoy this show. They don't ask the same stupid questions that your average morning D.J. asks when comedians do interviews at their stations to promote their shows. These guys are comedians themselves, and they get the guests to really talk to them, instead of the host just setting up the comics to tell jokes. It's always interesting to hear what stand-up comedian's motivations are for what they choose to do for a living. Yes, there's audio problems with some shows, but I don't mind since the hosts personalities and the fun they have with their guests tend to draw me back regardless of any sound problems. My only complaint is that they don't upload new shows very often. Three months or more have to pass before they post new interviews, which kinda stinks. I'd like to see new stuff put up maybe monthly. I'm not expecting weekly or anything, just not a quarter of a year before a new show is available.
  • SloppyJones
    Hosts are terrible!
I've downloaded several of these podcasts and I wonder if the hosts realize that people want to hear the guests. Too many "hosts" trying to input useless info. Please just let the comics speak, they are famous for a reason.
  • carvermon
    If only...
If only the hosts would sit back from the mikes, or turn down their pots, or just refrain from the persistent and PAINFULLY loud staccato bursts of laughter that come too often and too harshly to enjoy the guests banter. I really want to be able to enjoy this, but it HURTS!
