Chris sound like he’s not in the same room as his mic AGAIN!!! Please fix the sound levels before you post. It can’t be that hard

Used to love this podcast but it got to political and they don’t seem to criticize any shows or movies. Sometimes things are good and sometimes they aren’t it doesn’t have to be political.

Your Facebook profile post often and the comment section is full of racist, sexist, homophobic and generally hateful comments. If you can block people making them, you are allowing the cesspool of hate to grow. Do better.

Sigh. Used to be such a great show. All we wanted was fans coming together to talk about what we love: Star Wars. They just can’t seem to keep politics out of discussion, using memes and dialogue to alienate part of their fanbase. It’s just ridiculous. We want Star Wars talk to distract us from what’s going on. We don’t need to make fun of or anger fans who don’t agree with them politically. Too much for me. Do yourself a favor and unsubscribe too.

The show has always been good, but lately it’s firing on all cylinders! Adding Hannah to the cast was an excellent move. Sometimes I get concerned when a show’s lineup changes, but she’s done nothing but add to the dynamic (glad I finished that sentence). In the most recent episode in particular everyone was funny, and the camaraderie and chemistry were on fire! So the show just keeps getting better. Keep it up everyone!

This used to be a decent podcast, then things turned ugly by attacking other podcasters and taking things way to far into the political realm.

As time has gone on this show has seemed to talk a little more about politics. as time goes hon. I just want to have an escape and be entertained.

They had to make it political when people just want star wars talk.... would give negative stars if i could.

This was a great find, I was looking for a Star Wars podcast that is unafraid to talk about systemic racism. They have learned the right lessons from all the Star Wars stories. Let’s become a less toxic fandom.

Been listening for five years, and these guys have consistently delivered insightful content. If you ever need a dose of Star Wars news and reactions, SWU is there for you. They’re honest about their opinions but also try to look at things from multiple angles. Just inject more Percy the Pufferpig into the show and we are good! #PotatoWatch

Been a long time listening for over seven years back when you guys reviewed Clone Wars and you guys were my go to for Star Wars podcasting. I have nothing against you guys as you are entitled to your opinions but the latest podcast was bad. I feel like you guys talk about Star Wars in too much of a good light despite everyone knowing our current political climate has divided the fan base especially with The Last Jedi and it’s not what it once was. The hiring of Leslie is bad and you guys didn’t cover the part were she was Harvey Weinstein’s former personal assistant which is not a good fit for Star Wars if you checked her background you’d see what I’m talking about. As an African American listener I don’t need a group of white guys to preach to me during a podcast about diversity. You guys are what’s currently wrong with the fandom. A group of white ppl preaching to people of color about diversity when Star Wars ALWAYS had diversity. Not once as an African American have a watched something and said “Hmmm you know what this needs? Diversity!” I don’t care about color when it comes to characters. I relate to Superman and Batman and Luke Skywalker not cuz their white but because of character which is something I don’t think you guys care about anymore. It’s become apparent you guys just want to save face when it comes to Star Wars and you guys are the toxic fandom that has plagued Star Wars and are the racist. You don’t fight racism with racism like Disney has done for the past 6 years and it’s a shame. I’m prob around your guys age group and I can’t believe you fell for the trap that is the down fall of many franchises. Star Wars toy sales are down more than ever, we don’t get as many novels that impact the greater universe anymore and the movies always divide the fan base. - Long time listener

This podcast is worse than a nerf burger without seasoning.

Most of the things you guys describe is kinda surface level. Nothing really into the emotional level. Sorry there's not much here that interests me that much, and there's no debate it's a bunch of "yes men". Doesn't capture my interest in their topics and the way they talk about it. There is a better podcast "THE REXIN AROUND SHOW" that gives way better points AND is not dry.

It started out fine enough, now all they do is cry because a certain character isn’t as important as they want them to be. When Don leaves the show might get better.

This is an amazing podcast. Dominic, Chris, and Ben are phenomenal. Great knowledge, lots of info, and love there input. I am telling all of my Star Wars fans to listen SWU. These guys are awesome and funny I’ve been listening for 4 years now and they have great conversations doesn’t matter if it’s news or movie commentary always great to listen to. they report every week so there’s no need to stick to your phone everyday know what’s happening because and the end of the week you’ll hear about a stay updated. They talk the good and bad of Star Wars without trying to offend anyone they are truly fans that want to see what the future hold for Star Wars

This show, and group of dudes are some of the most realist. Yea sometimes we as a fan base may not agree with things. But the love and care they still show is what drives this show. All in all they also help show what true fandom can be. And they strive to help bridge the community together!! Love them or hate them. Everyone always entitled to their own. And that’s what also always makes for good Star Wars talks. New ideas and growth. Our imagination!! Keep up the amazing job guys for real !! May the force be with you Always.

These guys are so positive, so knowledgeable about different aspects of the Star Wars universe that my day is made just to see a new episode is up. This is one of the most fun podcasts you can find. You'll be caught up on all the latest news and hear a thorough and positive discussion about them. I love these guys so much. Listen to any episode as your first, you're gonna love them :)

We met Dominic all the way back at Star Wars Celebration Orlando in 2017. He talked to a goofy looking 15 year old kid about Star Wars, and told him he should come on The SWU. It took a year or so before it happened, but true Dominic was true to his word! Dominic, Ben, and Chris are more than Star Wars "Super Fans." They're amazing guys. The show is always fun. These guys are incredibly funny and do a great job presenting a weekly overview of SW news, rumors, and even spoilers.

I’ve been listening to the guys from SWU since the lead-up to the Force Awakens and I never miss an episode. A lot of other Star Wars podcasts seems sloppily put together, but the SWU are professionals who have been doing this a while. SWU are a group of guys who grew up on the prequels, are not afraid to praise them, but are also aware of their flaws. Their news breakdowns are a weekly must for me. Their spoiler discussions and speculation about future Star Wars are well informed and grounded. I wouldn’t miss a week!

Thank you all so much for the show! I have been listening for a while and have been meaning to leave a review. I love the discussion of all things Star Wars. You all have different points of view and bring something interesting to the conversation. You guys also do a great job of keeping it positive, which is really refreshing. While you may criticize something you don't like, it is always in done respecfully and never comes across as complaining. We all know fandom has gotten a little dark over the recent years and Star Wars Underworld is a place to come listen to real fans celbrating a galaxy they love. 12/5 stars. Will listen again. This is the best Star Wars podcast I have listened to and I have listened to a lot XD. Bunch of guys that enjoy Star Wars and don’t bash on a movie series made for kids. By far my favorite podcast (Sorry Steele Wars 😅)

Like the title says, I have unsubscribed. I’ve been on the fence for a year or more with this podcast. When I first started listening, 3+ years ago, it wasn’t bad. But increasingly, since after the release of TFA, the host feel they need to push their political views out to the audience. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I listen to Star Wars podcasts to hear about Star Wars, not a bunch of young adults mix their political views into Star Wars. I quit listening the the Full of Sith podcast almost 2 years ago now because of their warped political agenda they were pushing out. If I wanna hear that stuff I’ll watch a biased channel such as CNN. Looks like all I have to listen to now is Rebel Force Radio, (RFR).

Don’t always agree with their opinions but their enthusiasm is infectious! Always enjoy listening. Keep making one of my favorite Star Wars podcasts!

The Star Wars Underworld Podcast is part of the high watermark of today’s fandom. These guys run a great show. It’s wonderful to hear from the thoughtful fan/hosts that come from a generation that more fully embraces the prequel trilogy— warts and all.

This is a podcast with great potential to be 5 stars, but unfortunately, it is dominated by one person. ALL of these guys have good knowledge of Star Wars, but you only really get to hear one person's views, in depth. It's hard to listen to a podcast when one member is interrupting the others constantly. I feel that Chris is the most knowledgable, but sometimes other members can be too overbearing and try too hard to make sure that their opinions are heard. The natural flow of conversation is stifled. There is plenty of time for everyone to talk. You know it's ok to let everyone be heard. You don't always have to be right. Poor Ben just gets pushed into a corner like a forgotten stuffed animal. He is the SWU mascot. Also, I don't care to hear about anyone's political stances. That stuff shouldn't be part of a Star Wars podcast. If you don't like what's happening in your country or your neighbor's country, then go ahead and start a politics podcast and make a difference with a show where that type of talk is appropriate. No one subscribes to this pod to hear Social Justice Weenies whine about this or that. The Kanjikast is cool, but tell your Patreon guests to stop smacking their food and exhaling directly into the microphones please. It's pretty distracting. I know this is not a professional radio show, but it's very off-putting. The product reviews are excellent. And the interviews with the toymakers. You make me want to buy the toys, and I'm not the type to do that. The movie reviews are a bit drawn out. You don't need 12 weeks to review a movie (TLJ). Sorry. I know you're trying to fill time, but thats a bit ridiculous. With all the Star Wars news these days, it's not needed. I especially liked the Live from Lothal sub-podcast and I look forward to the Resistance episode reviews. However, that's all I'm going to listen to from now on.

I’ve listened to these guys a couple dozen times, and each time I just hope that it doesn’t go down the same path as the previous one. They have great topics and passion for Star Wars, but too often it turns into a judgmental, gatekeeping, complain session where they have to yell about something. It also often doesn’t seem like a podcast with a conversation among people as Dominique completely takes over the conversation and interrupts people all the time. Not only that, but in their reminiscing of their time at Star Wars conventions they elaborate on how drunk and high they got. Seriously? Stick to the topic. In the end, it could have been great, but it often ends up “going down a path I cannot follow”.

Great Podcast! The only one I listen to every week. When you can’t get enough Star Wars, these guys dive deep and they will talk about aspects you hadn’t thought of. Very entertaining!

I don't think there's a Star Wars podcast out there that's had worse takes on The Last Jedi. You can't figure out why Kylo turned?? What movie did you watch? How dense are you?

Have been a faithful listen for 2 years - but giving them a break - these guys love Star Wars but definitely not the Last Jedi. Any compliments of it seem forced due to negative feedback they have been receiving from their fan base. Not a 1 Star due to them not liking the film - a 1 Star because it is a real downer to listen to based on their view and they don’t really try to keep the show upbeat since it’s release. I am giving them a 4 month break and we shall see how Han Solo goes (but I am nervous).

If you like someone interjecting their own personal earth based politics into a STAR WARS podcast, then this is for you.

There a lot of podcast for SW but only a few that really stand out and so far, from what I have heard, they stand out way ahead of the other podcast!

Of all of the (many) weekly Star Wars podcasts, the SWU is my go-to show for great discussions about all of the latest news about the saga. The hosts are fantastic, and great about engaging with listeners and building up the fan community!

Great programs and reviews, I enjoy every episodes. Thank you guys. Keep it up.

These three lads have a fun and easy rapport with each other and makes their discussion engaging and enjoyable. They do a solid job reporting on all the various news in Star Wars fandom and hands down have the best intro segments for all their topics. On ocassion I may not agree with their analysis but overall I really like the shows longer format.

Just another 'Star Wars' podcast riddled with SJW propaganda. To be fair, the actual discussions about Star Wars are solid & fun... but all of time they spend on college campus buzzword subjects is just cringeworthy. Listening to nu-male betas fawn over topics dealing with: 'Trans, People Of Color, muh Diversity, Gender, etc., etc., etc., blah, blah, blah' make it sound like these boys came straight out of their Intersectional-Gender-Studies 101 class. I had to unsubscribe... life is too short to waste time being lectured to/at by these guys (whoops I assumed their gender).
