    Disappointed
Unfortunately, I’m new to podcasts and just saw yours yesterday (March 2022). What a great one it was!!! Wish it was still running new episodes but THANKS for the ones available!

    Excellent TV podcast
Excellent interviewer and great guests! I’m only sorry I am finding this so long after the shows were made. I’m happy these podcasts are still available, I’ve almost heard most of them in the last few days. I’d enjoy listening if more are ever produced. After listening to these, I’ll look into the host’s other current podcasts! Great work!!! Very enjoyable.

Another Excellent Podcast from Jim Harold
Frankly, I believe Mr. Harold is the best in the business. I love this podcast like all of his others. He also has a very reasonable Plus Club covering everything from True Crime, to Ancient Mystery’s all matters Paranormal including Campfire True Ghost told by average people who experience them.

    The Great TV Podcast
Good idea for a podcast. Jim Harold has too much on his plate to cover this. I keep looking for something new but it appears only a few times a year.

    Fun and informative!
A really great podcast by Jim Harold, who also has Crime Scene Podcast, Jim Harold's Campfire: True Ghost Stories and The Paranormal Podcast. All great podcasts. If you haven't tried any of his podcasts, please check them out. His TV podcast features interviews with actors/celebrities and insiders who discuss all sorts of TV shows. The podcast started out featuring older TV shows, but now has expanded to more current fare, such as Twin Peaks The Return, which premiered last month on Showtime. I very much enjoy Harold's interview style, which is very much an informed discussion based style. Much better than some podcasters whose interviewing skills are lacking. There's a nice selection of TV shows, do pick one out and give it a listen. I don't think you won't be disappointed.

    Worth listening to every episode
I have listened to this podcast since episode 1. I have found practically every episode very intresting listening. Favorited include interviews with Ritchard Hatch (Apollo on Battlestar Galactica), Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from Gilligans Island), and Linda Grey (Sue Ellen from Dallas). Even though those are my favorites, I do like them all. Almost forgot the recent Twilight Zone episode. Jim is an excellent podcast host.

Another Hit Show From Jim Harold!!
Jim hits another one out of the park with this one. He's been able to get some big time television stars like Ed Asher and Cindy Williams, as well as TV experts and historians. I haven't had a bad experience yet, or even a mediocre listen. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Loved the Soup Nazi episode especially!! What great anecdotes about Seinfeld.

    Wonderful treasure
Hi! I wanted to tell you about a wonderful podcast series that celebrates all those wonderful shows we used to watch when we were growing up. The announcer, Jim Harold, asks those questions that you were always wanted to ask but never were able to. Not only does Jim Harold talk to authors about the show but he has some fabulous interviews with the actual stars from the shows. These shows make a boring commute into a great one. So please, take a listen and I'll think you'll agree that this is one of the best podcasts out there.

    Another Hit for Jim Harold!
Keep them coming Jim! Great guests talking about the old shows I still quote and theme songs I still sing today! And - I get to learn things about those hit shows and stars I didn't know - all while reminiscing about an era that defined us in many ways. Thanks Jim!

    Coming back? Hope so!
This is a top-notch, professional show with a relaxed and welcoming quality for both listener and interviewee. The amount of work Mr Harold puts into this podcast -- along with all of his varied shows -- is apparent. Some celebrities even compliment Mr Harold on his unique and artful interviewing ability, and considering these people have likely been interviewed many times in the past, such a compliment is incredible. I'd actually pay to hear this show. Hopefully the podcast will resume soon with a regular schedule, and remain online/on air for a long time.

    Really great podcast
I just started listening and I love this podcast! Full disclosure: I love all of Jim Harold's podcasts because he always does a great job, BUT this new one is unique and is just lots of fun. If you are a child of the 70s/80s (or prior) you will really like it.

    Jim Harold does it again!!!
Professionally produced podcast. Great interviews with people you never thought you'd hear from again. Interesting discussions on what it was like on the set and what they're up to now. Such a unique topic for a podcast! Absolutely LOVE it!

    Great, nostalgic show
This show features interviews with TV stars and creators mostly from the ‘60s to the ‘80s. I suppose I’m in the middle of the age group that will remember these shows, so I don’t even remember all of them. But every interview has been interesting and’s great to hear stories of the earlier days of TV. Jim Harold is a fantastic interviewer (as multiple guests have mentioned, actually). I love this show!
  • Chuckroy
    Great Guests!
Jim Harold has rediscovered those iconic television shows from our youth and solidified entertaining interviews from the actors and actresses that made those programs great! It's great to hear first person accounts of their experiences during that time and what they have been doing since both inside and outside of the entertainment industry. Jim puts his guests at ease and delivers great interviews!

    Don't pass up this podcast!
I've been listening to Jim Harold's Podcasts for years. This new podcast out of his normal genre is fantastic! Jim asks very insightful questions to his guests that are entertaining and informative. I watched these shows as a kid and this extra insight makes those memories even more special.

    Fun walk down memory lane
What a fun idea for a podcast! Jim is a congenial, knowledgable host, and he has a great lineup of guests. This is a much more in depth treatment of the "where are they now" genre than superficial photo galleries on some web sites. Note that Don Most, a recent interviewee of Happy Days fame, complimented Jim on asking great questions.
  • szhcat
    Highly Enjoyable
I love all of Jim Harold's Podcasts, and this is no exception. In fact, I believe that this newest one, TV That You Grew Up With will introduce Jim Harold to a whole 'nother set of listeners. He is tops. Staightfoward talk, engaging interviews and no big ego to detract from the subject at hand. One of the best interviewers I have ever listened to. And at 56 years old and an avid talk show radio listener since I got my hands on a transister radio and earphones, (as we said in the day), I have listened to hundreds of talk show hosts. Terry Gross and Jim Harold remain my all time favorites. I see even bigger things for Jim in the future. I really think that he is capable of talking to anyone from any walk of life.
  • Nectarmaiden
    Excellent!
Jim is a great interviewer and his shows are always good. This podcast is informative and entertaining. Love it!
  • AlexZiggy
    I love this!
So great to revisit TV icons that I grew up watching! Jim has a friendly manner and asks thought-provoking questions. The people interviewed benefit from Jim's easy style, they appear to be so comfortable and enjoying the interchange. Jim's forte has been doing interviews in the paranormal arena, this is a wonderful departure. I love biographies and always find it interesting to hear how people "got the part" or ended up "behind the scenes" in some of our most-loved shows. If you want to take a walk through nostalgic television, you might just want to subscribe to this podcast. I am looking forward to more of these one-on-one interviews.
