I just got my first ak. I have been an ar guy for as long as I can remember. I have milled my own ar lowers and assembled 5-6 ar15’s but always wanted an ak47 so when the opportunity to buy a psa ak 103 second hand with only 600 rds through it I jumped on it and I got to say the ak will be my gun of choice when shtf. I like the podcast

I look at this podcast as every television show I've ever liked that did not get a second season. The potential was definitely there even with the production being very rough in the beginning. You can definitely feel the passion that the host has for AK's in how he talks about them. I just wish that FRN would have given the podcast time to build any audience rather than cutting it off before it had a chance for the audience to find it. The best episodes are the ones with Rob Ski from AK Operators Union. I know he's already a really busy man but if the podcast could just come back even on a once a month rotation that would be awesome. I'd love to hear the host and Rob Ski have a segment where they just get us all up to date on station of the union for AK's and then maybe branch off into some history and then product reviews/interviews. This is something that I think was very ahead of it's time and may do better now. I know that I'm 2 years too late to help keep this podcast going but I can only hope that FRN will give this another go seeing as AK's are definitely more popular than they were back when this was originally produced.

Love the show looking forward to more. Maybe you could get Atlantic and classic arms come in and talk about what's currently in country and popular / good value right now

As a general practitioner of the shooting sports and a defensive shooter and trainer in particular, this podcast is singular in its relevance in bringing historical accuracy and fine points of distinction to a topic that could not be more relevant still, today. Moreover, a topic being a hugely nuanced and diverse firearm platform with so much variety that the average person thinks it is just one gun!

As someone entertaining the idea of buying an AK, I enjoy this podcast!

Finally there's a podcast that revolves around the AK platform. I'm especially happy about hearing from skilled AK builders about the intricacies of making a quality AK rifle, as well as the history and different variants of this rifle. Definitely a worthwhile listen.

In it's early days yet, but it's already starting off better than the AR-15 podcast did (sorry Reed, but those forst ones were pretty rough). I already learned more about my AWB-era WASR 10 than I'd ever thought to know, and the host seems pretty knowladgeable on the topic. Keep up the great work.

I'm so glad the FRN decided to dedicate a show to the AK47 and AK variants! Very informative and helpful. I recently purchased my first AKM AND I'm devouring all the information in this show. I'm looking forward to many more episodes and guests and insight into this prolific weapon and it's history. Keep up the good work!

His podcasts are shallow. He is one of those guys that won't give his opinion so he can please everybody. He does short podcasts and usually reads from a book. His facts are usually wrong and has limited knowledge on AK's. If you see his WASR, he has it fixed up like an AR-15. I've met this guy, he was not very friendly. He strikes me as a Neo FUDD that likes AK's. This guy is also into political correctness. I suspect he wants to get freebies like the guys on YouTube, and start doing fake reviews to get free guns and gear. Typical gun pimp douchesnozzle.

I love the AK platform. So when I found this podcast that was all about talking about my favorite firearm, I was stoked. This didn't disappoint. Not only is it fun to hear about the latest products, it's awesome to get more in depth history on the firearm that changed the world. Also, the intro gets me excited every time!
