Love Rome but unfortunately finding im listening less and less. I can’t take the constant arenaclb infomercials that take 10-15 every day. No one cares about that card come up on slap pack. We know, you have to pay the bills Rome but it’s really negatively impacting content

Been a huge JR fan since 2004. He brought something so unique to AM radio. It blew me away and I was hooked. Fast forward almost 20 years later and he’s still the man! He makes a mailman’s job the best for 3 hours! Thanks Jimmy! Hope to see you in Gods country some day and I’ll buy you a Bloody Mary and a chaser VanSmackkkkkk!! I’ve been listening to the show for almost 20 years. The show has aged like a fine wine, I dread the day that Jim will no longer be on the air, I pray that he out lives me!

I have been listening to you off and on for the better part of the 30 years you have been Broadcasting. You have ALWAYS managed to stay ahead of the game. Trending and keeping up with current events. I will NEVER be a caller or e-malier. I will take the content for what it is. Listen, have a good time, just don’t bring the show down. Great show. However, it is often ruined with a silly sound effects over every sentence. For example, the big head, Betts is phenomenal, but is ruined by music and sound effects. Why do they run the segment with amateur hour in the background?

30 years ago, I loved the show. It was cutting edge, cutting commentary, and funny. Didn’t love the multiple years of him promoting and giving air time to Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson jokes. But fun. Been listening again on and off for the last year without much joy. Finally figured it out. He and his show revels in negativity and failure. Sure, there are the occasional pumping up of good performances- heaven knows that was on display to a nauseating level when the Colorado Buffalos won some football games. But for the most part, it is Rome Monday morning quarterbacking players, coaches and owners when they make mistakes. Listen for yourself, one story at a time and judge for yourself. Is he adding joy and love for those who perform? Or is he spotlighting failure and reveling in the misfortune and errors of others? Also a pc hypocrite. He shames callers for the same type of calls he’s gotten over the decades, but then Fat Shames people. You know it is coming, because he sets up the comment with saying “I’m not Fat Shaming, but..” then Fat Shames. Either be all PC or don’t. Pick a side. In the early 90’s, he was and edgy Cali skate punk persona. He’s still trying to pull that off now as he pushes 60. Played.

No one does it like Jim Rome. Extremely funny and excellent sports takes. Lots of hard work and preparation with plenty of content to keep his fans entertained. His interviews are like no others in the business.

I’ve noticed that the Intro music and bump in music is missing from the uploads, any chance that is brought back?

My only complaint is it has been not uploading soon enough lately hour one of yesterday just uploaded this morning. Get your act together Jack Savage! Upload hour one a half hour after it ends.

You trashcanned lampley, how is white any different. Lose all UFC coverage, I would rather hear boring race horse talk all day then UFC garbage, ever.

The beef segment is generally my favorite or one them during the week. Today’s all call segment was horrible; I didn’t even smile, let alone laugh. Stop with the callers; more Rome, less clones, especially with the beefs. Listener since 2002 and will continue to; listening to the podcast every day

I understand it’s a slow time in sports. But challenge us by breaking down an MLB team, learn soccer, which is on the rise. On 8/16, 8/17– I listened to at least 2 hours of product placement and brand development. Half of his show was talking about his other shows. Or story time about Rome. I’ve been a big fan of the big guns; Rome, Cowherd, Dan Patrick, Bill Simmons And I’m noticing a complacency trend. If the concern is being too specific loses listeners, boo hoo. If you dumb down your listeners they will expect dumbed down content. You all are loaded, don’t be greedy. You are bright sports minds, use them, instead of giving vanilla takes to keep numbers up for corporate company B.

GREAAAAT time to schedule a vacation. No I don’t care if you’re absence was connected to the Derby. Those horses ain’t where you made your dollars. This show is. Do your job. I told my wife “Can’t wait to hear Rome’s discussion on Rich Strike.” And I seldom listen anymore…but I made it a point to tune in to hear the post-Derby sermon. Where were your scouts on this $30k horse? Tip: Forget the equine oriented activities. Focus on where the bread is buttered.

I’ve been a jungle subscriber and avid podcast listener for years. After playing with the new format today for 20 minutes I was finally able to find the most recent show, unfortunately I am unable to delete the interviews as I was before, and am not totally sure I will be able to listen as quickly and effortlessly as I have in the past. I give this new format a D-, hopefully it grows on me before I grow tired of it!

Great show. Love Rome. But......Rome never talks about LeBron’s longevity. The clown is on steroids!!!! That’s the only explanation. Rack me. I’m out!

I can count on one hand the sports shows I consider elite and Jim Rome makes the cuts.

Use to be a everyday listener of Rome, left a few years ago for Dan Patrick and outkick. Listened for a couple days and it’s the same Jim Rome. Typical woke takes, and the same ol sound bites. Rome lost his edge years ago when he went corporate.

This is the best show on earth period! I just need to find out how Rome grinds and prepares so well for his show. How many hours a day? Does he stay up late? Wake up early? What’s the deal!! How do I get this?

Sports used to be an escape from politics, but then Rome got woke. That’s half of his audience’s loss I guess, Rome has always been one of my faves.

What happen with Bubba Wallace errrrrr Bubba Smollett. Once you start having opinionated race takes, I am out. Maybe you are sorry that you are white but I am not!!!!
