Human/Ordinary is back in 2024 with a series of short docos. Sam will spend two weeks floundering and then release whatever he has on Friday night of the second week. They'll mostly be personal journals that touch on our culture, our relationships, and the extraordinary feat of being alive.

    I can’t hear you
This is an excellent podcast, made worse by lack of a skilled engineer. Moderator can often barely be heard, music and other voices are all over the place. Stories are great, excellent writing and journalism. Fix the constant volume issues and you have a terrific podcast.

    A true tear jerker
The episode on Alzheimers left me in tears.

    The least obnoxious show ever
These topics are so heavy, but they are covered in such a way that the listener is not pounded over the head, but gently drawn in. I mean, as I’m writing this, I’m hearing “blood was pissing out of the back of my head like a hose”, but it was said by an Aussie, so despite the horror, we’re still mellow yellow. No over-dramatics; the stories speak for themselves. Thanks Australia!

    Incredible story telling.
Found this through planet broadcasting. Sam has a talent for organizing information and telling stories in a compelling way. Not only are the stories engaging, but they are presented in such a way that I feel an emotional connection to each person I meet. The headstone series is phenomenal.

    Finally!
Long time podcast listener, first time reviewer. One of the best new podcasts I've heard. I finally found a podcast that covers topics in a rational way. Cheers.

    Excellent
Sam has a real gift at bringing a story together. It is beyond impressive for being basically a one man production. I love getting an insight into Australia life. Keep it up!

My first podcast from Down Under
I live in the US & listen to dozens of US podcasts. I'm excited to have expanded my horizons to Aussi podcasts...if they are all this good I'm going to need a lot more memory on my iPod.

I heard Episode 10 on Strangers. After crying my eyes out, I immediately subscribed. And am currently working my way through all episodes- I can't stop. Incredible.
