Greg1188My first and only review everI’ve never written a review, I don’t plan on writing another…I love this show!! Love the hosts, love their side bars…great knowledge of the asoiaf universe!! By far my favorite podcast!! I’m so sad they almost done with the books…
-
darrell317CommentI’m a boomer so I couldn’t figure out Discord. Just wanted to leave this here hopefully you’ll see it. My preference would be for you two to finish reading the series in book order. I’m a little biased since Feast is my favorite book in the series and I really want to see RoShawn’s reaction just to that book. I found your podcast years ago when doing a reread and literally every podcast only did the combined order except yours. I think it’s a nice little niche that you have also I read along and I hate switching back between books. Just my opinion I’ll be fine with whatever you choose.

Mama AffolterLet’s Goooooooo!Hurray, RoShawn and Natasha are back! I enjoy the stories in ASOIAF (an absolute flaming trash heap of people), but I am here for the hosts. It’s not often that I’m caught up with a podcast, so it’s really fun to listen each week.
-
EljefetacomaSo woke!Hi! I just wanted to check in and say how wonderful it is that the hosts are so woke!
-
kamcsFeminist Propaganda PodcastAnd I am HERE for it. The new hosts breathe life into text that's been analyzed to death and bring a funny, insightful take to the series. So lucky that the discerning Natasha and the perspicacious RoShawn are tackling this topic as SomeSpoiled! They don't hold back, THANK GOODNESS.
-
Louise77777!Two thumbs way upUpdating my review because since I wrote it I have become a total Unspoiled stan. You may find more polished podcasts, but you won’t find better chemistry or enjoyable banter.
-
Miss.AnthropeOutstanding.I would listen to Natasha and RoShawn discuss the minutes of a school board meeting, but no need.
-
Kree8peacePERFECTI thought I had left a review before, but apparently I didn’t. This is a great journey back into the world of A Song of Ice & Fire and I cannot wait for RoShawn to get to /things/ that were left out of the show. Natasha & RoShawn have great chemistry. I wasn’t sure how it would be with RoShawn having seen the HBO series, but let me tell you: it’s perfection. Every episode is a high point in my week. I began listening to Unspoiled after they had finished the original ASoIaF series, binged it, went on to Harry Potter, & I’m catching up now on Dresden Files. And I’m so glad I did because it brought RoShawn in as a cohost. Listen to this and be ready to fall in love with this network.
-
Amy SophiamehrOne of the best dynamic duos in Podcasting!Yay! I followed Natasha and RoShawn through Unspoiled Harry Potter and its ReReadening and they were brilliant! These two are who inspired me to become a book podcaster myself. I’m so stoked that they’ve started ASOIAF! I will be reading the books along with them! First time I can follow a podcast with a book!
-
Naty17RoShawn is a queen!I have missed RoShawn’s giggle so much. It brings me joy every time! I’m a huge fan of the Unspoiled network and have never been disappointed. I love Natasha’s ability to keep cool and not spoil anything for her... and their banter is so easy and funny! They are both intelligent and woke, and I’m delighted to have these ladies’ voices in my ears for the foreseeable future. Keep it up! Love, Natalie McManus 🥰
-
@jestjarvisLooking forward to itI got into Unspoiled during the HP days long ago, excited to comeback for ASOIAF. I listened to this thread years after the during a HP break and was pleasantly surprised with the insight and entertainment but I can’t imagine the Ro Ro Remix won’t be just as good. So glad it’s fo free!
-
Cyra KPuns, tangents and great GOT coverageSo excited for the revamped coverage with the addition of Roshawn. Been listening to Natasha podcast for years and I’m eager to see how her perspectives have changed since the last go-round, and to get more of the N/R banter I love and cherish.
-
AriFikeCannot wait for the new reviews!Love you both and can’t wait for Roshawn to experience the story through the books and get Natasha’s present day views on it.
-
RachelS84Read the books firstI really love the hosts of this podcast although I didn’t realize you need to have already read the books. It’s more a recapping of the chapters than a book reading and discussion.

Alice Bromley McEwenChapter by chapter breakdown - brillant!I cannot believe I never left a review for this podcast?! I found this years ago and I just did a full re-read of ASoIaF Series and I listened to the UNspoiled podcast after each chapter and it was as great as I remembered. There's always those few characters in the later books, <cough> Dany, that are hard to get through but UNspoiled helped to pull me through the Meereenese knot and kept me going. And in the end," as I think of the days gone by as I walk through the empty rooms of my mind..." I can't help but think, "Some cats have claws!" Oh, and Natasha was always right! :-)
-
ChrisMVBForget itI looked this up after hearing about it online, and saw one of the most recent episodes (according to the podcast app, at leas) was about the election. Thinking it was about the election if Jon Snow, I figured I'd listen out of order. Oh, great, histrionics about the 2016 US Presidential election. My candidate didn't either, but get over yourself. Some people actually appreciate spaces free of the constant barrage of politics.

MKinNYCAwesome PodcastThis podcast starts out covering the books, going chapter by chapter, with Natasha and Brendan, who have such a great rapport. Listening to Brendan reading the books for the first time is a great way to remind yourself what happened in the books if you don't feel like rereading. I like their coverage of the show, though it gets a little rough when they get to season 5, but in all fairness that was a crappy season. I believe you have to become a Patron to get the rest of the show now, but it is so worth it because even though Brendan leaves the podcast, Anton, Miles, and now Rashawn make it SO enjoyable. Just go listen!

Eat more spinachYou must Subscribe!!!If you are reading the song of ice and fire books than this podcast is a must! I read the first two books before finding this at the time I started a storm of swords. Listening to this has helped my retention and understanding of the material greatly. It's funny, insightful, and entertaining. I cant say enough about how great this is. I'd give it more stars if I could.

cmktivWater water everywhereIt is hard to find podcasts nowadays that don't talk about politics. There are a lot of great personalities out there, and I love listening to them talk about my favorite subjects. However, I find so many podcasts have at least one SJW that has to pepper in their political opinions. This is another one that cannot stick to my favorite book series, a song of ice and fire.
-
Syd_is_boredSo far so goodI have started reading the books for A Song of Ice and Fire and the first episodes are giving me a book club feel. Hope that your other podcasts are just as good.
-
JaneMarieJaneTerribleOnce the old host Brendan left it's just not worth listening to. Joyless and boring. More sjw nonsense than tumblr.
-
JJstarrrrrrrGreat insight, lots of laughsI chose this podcast because it was one of the only chapter review podcasts that did not combine book 4&5 but also I really enjoyed the silly banter and helpful review of characters and plots. Bummed this pair is no longer podcasting together :(. But you have an unspoiled fan no less!
-
KmfzAmazing! From chapter by chapter reviews to the shows and extra materials, Natasha covers all things Game of Thrones and looks great doing it ;)
-
Andrew-RyanFeminist Propaganda PodcastI used to be a big fan of this show when Brendan was on. Now it's a bunch of hardcore feminist who don't even talk about game of thrones. Half the time they're spreading their political agenda and when they eventually talk about game of thrones it always deteriorates to who is more offended about what. It's a bunch of liberals trying to out liberal each other. Hell I don't think even liberals wanna own these radicals. I kinda feel sorry for Natasha, her husband left her and this crazy cult (feminism) got their hands on her. Hopefully she will see the light and come back to the fun loving show we all miss.
-
SethABellWandering around home in a daze of days lostHave you thought game of thrones would be so much better as a comedy? If so this is the podcast for you! I couldn't recommend this highly enough. The wonderfully funny couple bring you in and make you feel as if you're a part of the in-crowd of game of thrones fans. Before long you'll find yourself referring to things they've said in the show as if you're one of their friends and are in on the jokes as well. You'll find yourself embracing theories that should seem bizarre like "Franken-Greggor" as a common part of your lexicon. The only people I would NOT recommend this podcast to are Cersi supporters. . . You all should go hide in shame. Long live Ser Pounce, the third head of the dragon.

Rblanchard217Book beginningI've just started listening to this podcast and I'm starting from the beginning. It's a great companion to rereading. Brendan seriously cracks me up. I find myself laughing out loud quite often! I haven't heard any of the show stuff yet, so I really can't say anything on that. But I did listen to the Dunk and Egg episodes and I enjoyed those. 😊
-
ptho16Awfulhosts cannot pronounce characters names correctly, I tried to look past, but this is terrible.
-
Vic9281I love it! Best ASOIAF podcast! This is the funniest podcast ever. It’s so hilarious it has me laughing out loud during the whole episode. Anthon ( I’m sorry if I misspelled this) is so incredibly funny. I wish Natasha and everybody a good luck. Please keep posting and keep up the good work :D
-
jackde1965I LOVE NatashaShe does great on all of her casts. I think this season suffered for me because she obviously didn’t enjoy it as much. (I actually agree), BUT with the other two guys this season it really felt like piling on sometimes. I have no problem with critiquing the show, but sometimes it seemed they were just ENJOYING ripping it apart. It’s a fine line. Only -1 star for that. Natasha, I am a huge fan and I totally respect your decision not to cover the show anymore. If you are not enjoying it, you shouldn’t be covering it. It’s supposed to be fun. I hope to find another show your covering that will suit me. I will miss you if I don’t find one we “can enjoy together”. I was listening to The Wire, but dropped off during season 2.

Larry from St. Charles, ILBrendon’s Gone?!I’m shocked! I’m at episode #88. Shall I forge ahead knowing what awaits? I feel spoiled… :(

Oracle de SparklesSophomoric Mean-KidsThis podcast could be pretty good, but Natasha (most of all) expresses herself in a painfully sophomoric and smug manner. This observation was only reinforced by Natasha, some time ago, informing everyone about how passionate she is about Beyonce, which has to do with A Song of Ice and Fire, Why? She is probably the most unprofessional Podcast Host & using people’s names to shame them for leaving messages to her is very Glen Beck. Using your podcast to poke fun at your own listeners who write you questions and comments is so incredibly infantile, unimaginative and condescending. It is especially egregious when it comes from people who come across as particularly intellectual themselves. There are way better and more intelligent Podcasts covering the material out there. The only thing I agree with about this Podcast is their passion about how off-book David B & Dan W have gone with the show and that as writers, they are not living up to their own potential with such fantastic source material. I’d say Anton is the only person who has the skills to carry a Podcast about this material. Natasha & Miles are a lot of hot wind and give very little insight to anything.

[Something Clever]A+ PodcastThis podcast is great! The hate it's received recently for "hating" on the show is completely unwarranted. The hosts are thoughtful, articulate, and don't put up with BS. Five stars.
-
KjcastroNarrow MindedThis podcast is far too negative and it's seems to be due to the cast being book purists. I listen to many GoT podcasts and this one is the most unprofessional with childish arguments with commenters and lack of substantial analysis. I can't see any redeeming qualities that make this podcast worth my time.
-
JPSosoBest GoT Podcast Ever!As a non-book reader, I've watched GoT for 4 seasons without listening to 1 podcast. Since season 5 is the worst season ever, I finally had to listen to podcasts for more information. Of all the podcasts, Unspoiled had the most honest opinions. Your team actually pinpointed our my issues with each episode. It shouldn't matter than I am a not a book reader, as a viewer I shouldn't have to fill in the gaps. The few excellent segments did not save the overall season. The Double D's need some British writers; now they know how to craft a mystery. GoT season 5 suffers from poor character development and poor character continuity. You guys confirmed that I wasn't alone in my opinions. Good luck on all your endeavors. By the way, if you want to see a well done series adapted from book, try "Outlander". Showrunner Ronald D Moore made intelligent choices while staying faithful to the source material. The season finale which featured the physical and psychological rape of the male protagonist was brilliant and excellently acted. Smart choices all around. It saved the spring television season for me. Sorry to see you go. :-(

Graffin Dirtyblood...Devolved into a complaintcast. Very sad.
-
SchoolimangooliNatasha is CerseiI loved the chapter by chapter reviews even thought they go on random tangents sometimes. The show was great when Brendan was co hosting but now it seems like Natasha as slowly turned into Cersei and thinks she's cooler than what she actually is. Now it's just a bunch of people complaining. Which is a shame because the show was great when they were doing the chapter reviews. Now I feel like Natasha uses this podcast to broadcast her grievances and complaints. Two stars are for Brendan not for the Cersei/Natasha creature that she has become. Plus stop using airtime to read pathetic reviews. Stick to the source material. I bet you won't read this review since there is nothing to boast about.
-
Son of the shadow babyDisappointedI found this podcast during the offseason of the TV show and found it enjoyable. However, since the show has started I've found them to be way to negative to the point I just can't listen anymore. Highly disappointing. 4 star rating for offseason material 0 star for covering the show.
-
MerekBad timing...Maybe I picked a bad time to listen to the last 2 episodes - but what I take away is a podcast where the casters HATE the show and 90% of the direction the TV show is taking. Given the level of vitriol they spew - it is a wonder they still watch much less do a podcast. Unlike them - if I find something I do not like - I simply choose not to read/watch/listen any more. There are MANY other GOT podcasts to choose from. Final note - I am a fan of salty language as much as the next guy - and it can be effective. But throwing out f-bombs every 2 minutes not only shows lack of imagination or use of the english language - but makes the casters appear to be 10 year olds who have just realized they can curse on the internet.

EddardStark313Most not picky podcast on ITunesHate everything about it
-
Tecaterob999Better at the startThe early ones with Brendan are pretty funny, though very in depth, as they really take their time to work through all of the books. Unfortunately, once he leaves the show, it loses most of its humor and has yet to really get it back.

BoltPrideBordering on mental illnessI have been listening to this show for a long time....long before the main host's split with the old co-host, Brenden. It always had a bit too much "social commentary" for me, but it was a decent, structured, and consistent podcast focusing on the books (primarily) and the show (secondarily) Since it's come-back in recent months, the show has taken on the militant feminism of a newly divorced woman. The new co-hosts are like minded by design. The "fan letters" are similarly handpicked to only showcase a manufactured narrative that fits the hosts' political agenda. I dont pluralize "agenda", because the host (militant feminist), the co host (male feminist), and the new co host (thick accented male feminist) all share the same ideas and agendas. There is no real debate, just back slapping and congratulating. If you were to edit out all of the Social Justice Warrior propaganda, you would be left with about 10 minutes of the hosts talking about their other published works and a few snarky sentences on why they hate the show and will never watch it again. If you cannot differenciate reality and television, and you are upset enough at fictional racism/sexism/rape/misogyny that you yell, curse, and block all of your followers on social media....this is the podcast for you. If you are not that person, I cant suggest this podcast or group of people to anybody serious about learning more about the actual A Song of Ice and Fire series or the tv show Game of Thrones.
-
Reader MadeI think I'll passThough I won't say its the worst podcast about the game of thrones, that title is held by another. This podcast is up there. The podcast is like a catty episodic mean girls. The host do nothing but crap on episodes with no real complaint except, its not like that in the book. It got really old after a few episodes. If you are going to review a tv show, review a tv show. If you are going to critique a tv critique the show for what it is, not for how it is not exactly like the book. If after 5 years you don't know that this is not the TV show a song of Ice and Fire, but the TV show Game of Thrones then I don't know what to tell you. If you like hearing angry people complain that that is not how it was done in the book, then this is the podcast. Too often they complain about events that occur and how they happened in the TV show, with out even knowing how those events will unfold or resolve. You can only take some much "this is crap, the book did it better" before you get the point that they don't like the TV show, but continue to watch it so they can "throw shade" at it.
-
Dan PollisLong Overdue...Natasha is one of the best podcasters on the internet, bar none! I have been meaning to leave a positive review for literally years but better late than never. If you're interested in GoT, ASOIAF, current events, and virtually any other topic under the sun, this is the show for you! Also check out all of her pairings with her cadre of smart and talented cohosts. Spoil yourself with "unspoiled"! (lame, sorry)

Fiction BoyPretty GoodI just found this podcast and have enjoyed it. I listen to quite a few Game of Thrones podcasts, and this one rounds out the selection. On your latest episode, one of your hosts, I forget his name, referred to Missandei and Grayworm as “colored.” Colored. Really? Dude, how old are you. 90? 87? You would think that a gay man would know better than to refer to a person of color or African descent as colored. Jeez. He also said something about book readers complaining about Dany’s "White Savior” complex. He said it in a way that sounded like he thought it was a ridiculous comment. I like the show, but, c’mon. This is 2015, not 1964.
-
EZizzieHilariousI just started listening now but it is very entertaining and easy to listen to.
-
Sikwitit15Podcast fell offUse to love this podcast but now it's just Unenjoyable.. Just a lot of complaining and Natasha thinking she's a lot cooler than she really is.. Miles is a terrible fill in for Brendan.. Anton is ok actually but this once devoted fan am done with this podcast
-
Edath55Wacky and WonderfulFantastically detailed and endlessly entertaining. Natasha has a great setup in usually being the "straight (wo)man" to her co-hosts' insane but awesome observations. Even when they venture off hopelessly into the weeds, its still a good time and well worth listening to.
-
Lololol098Favorite GOT PodcastLong time fan of unspoiled want to let you know am enjoying your reboot. Brenden was hilarious, yet Miles brings more critical depth so great replacement, especially now when the book readers "know nothing" for the shows change ups on particular plot lines, I find Mile's input and role to be valuable. Thank you everyone, Nastaha yes, I love you. Chill10549
