I like this group, even Ash😎. They are clever and probably correct most times in their steady criticism. I just find it hard to listen to because I have enjoyed Westworld and this group diminishes my enjoyment. Comments like Ed Harris needs to stay away from the show to avoid getting the stink of Westworld on him are just too ugly. I really don’t understand why they can’t focus on what happened and importantly what will happen next.

The way the team blasted episode 5 of season 4 showed me how far apart I am from these guys. I thought it was one of the best episodes and they just tore it up on Sunday night. Too bad I usually agreed with their views. There’s plenty of other westworld podcasts so I won’t be listening anymore and I was a religious listener. Get rid of Ash.

Great podcast - hosts do a great job of analyzing and dive into sub-context of other plot points. Don’t listen to the low ratings- it’s refreshing they point out the absurd pilot points this show has fallen victim to. I applaud your honest feedback and not just being “fanboys”. You 3 are great!

Felt the need to say I don’t hate you, some of us have grown to love you as part of the team. It took me a while, but it hurt to hear you on the WW S4EP7 telegraph saying most hate you. We all don’t!

Difficult to listen to these days. I’ve been trying to like Ash, knowing how much harsher people are on strong, vocal women and being one myself, but she comes across very negative/snarky and her energy really brings down the other two.

Just waayyy tooo over critical. Especially the girl who seems to hate everything. Thankfully there are a lot of podcasts that don’t focus so much on their personal opinions but more on the plot analysis and interesting themes. Nothing special here and never heard anything new or interesting concepts.

I really used to love this podcast. It’s just become sort of a miserable listen. I appreciate when a podcast is critical but it’s at the point where it seems the host have zero enjoyment of this show and watch it just to have something to talk about for an hour.

hacks that mistake being overly critical for a lack of having good takes on the show. Their are several decent westworld podcasts this is not one of them.

Was here when it was Big D and Rodger. Now its shifted to these two and I’m over it.

Loved the show for a while. Perfection podcasting. Gene, bid D and Ash are genuine pros. And Ash is Legit rookie of the year.

I would have stopped watching Westworld last season but I love these hosts too much. Gene is classy as you know what and prettier than all the girls you know. Big D is the guy you have been best friends with since childhood and just the best. Ash is a hot walking brain way out of all of our leagues. I will be back for season 4 because of the three of them.

What a high class lady. She is one of the most natural podcasters around IMO. Great upgrade from Roger. I’ll miss you every week. See you next season boys and Ash. 💕🥰💜

I love Gene and Big D too, and have followed the cast for all 3 seasons. You are one of my favorite Westworld podcasts that I always listen to, and I listen to 8-10 of them-totaling around 12-16 podcasts per WW episode. I will re-binge season 3, and listen to your casts again. They are great the 2nd and 3rd time-even better when you guys have been drinking :) I hope to write in next season. I called you once, and said the meat factory where Bernard worked was actually a slaughterhouse. Then realized on a subsequent watch that it actually was a meat factory-with lab grown meat. I'm so glad I found this podcast! Funny, intelligent, INCITEFUL (Like what I did there?) and I feel like I'm sitting in a room with my friends talking about a favorite show. I don't always agree, but the conversation is SOOO good I don't care. I don't know what is up with everyone always only listening to people who are just like them. I disagree, I AMEN,I laugh, sometimes I have whisky shours with them. Just listen and you'll see what I mean ;)

Just a 4 cuz the lady said she wasn’t feeling it cuz her eating disorder and then had to say glad stubbz and bernie found their third ...just feel there is some distractions from the plot due too me 2 movements

Big D is great and the only reason to listen to this show. The way Gene and Ashley pronounce Serac with those terrible French accents is like nails on a chalkboard. Sounds more German...like you’re coughing up something nasty. Drop the accent and just pronounce it like Big D. Gene and Ashley are extremely pretentious with their analysis. They go off on huge tangents seemingly to show off how smart they think they are.

Not crazy about the new host added this season. Every time Serac is mentioned I am left wondering who started this awkward pronunciation? Do you have a hairball? Cough it up!

I can’t wait to listen to hours of weekly WestWorld fodder between episodes. This is the best one I’ve found. Minimal negativity, and really good discussion.

I made this account because I am so tired of hearing the negative stuff about this show and new host Ashley. One person on youtube called her pretentious. She is smart but not pretentious in any way. Also she spends a lot of time responding to people like me and others (even those that are not that nice to her like the one I just mentioned) on YouTube. I have never followed a podcast where someone took the time to do that and even respond to both good and bad things in such a nice and classy way. It makes me and a lot of others feel really good. She is humble and kind. I want people to stop bullying her and listen to amazing stuff she is giving us. She deserves better. I wish the other hosts would defend her more because she deserves it.

This podcast spends too much time trying to guess what’s going to happen. Does not recap and explain what’s happening currently. Very unorganized.

The hosts seem to hate the show now. I don't. They're not talking about any of the things I think are cool or fun, just being snarky and tooling on the show.

this has managed to become the douchiest podcast running. impressive.

Seasons 1-2 are wonderful. Adding Ashley has made this podcast significantly worse. It was cool at first to have a live version of her insights, but the podcast has devolved into self indulgent philosophy hour. It does not help that Ashley (probably unintentionally) laughs smugly at almost every pause. This is also making Gene less entertaining and grossly smug for the first time, in my opinion. The latest 4/6/20 episode has Gene and Ashley somehow surprised that this HBO television show wasn’t playing out all their dense philosophical discussion. Thank god for Big D, who unfortunately in the same episode was allowed to speak briefly then ignored/shut down in favor of more reacting to Westworld still not being higher level deep. Roger is also there trying on some episodes, but it seems like he isn’t allowed to jump in much either because he isn’t talking French philosophy. I’m not in the YouTube echo chamber so not sure if they will take this review into consideration. This show has never been a graduate level discussion, some of this stuff is fun and cool to touch on, but this is an HBO show. Bring it back to show discussion guys, you’re going to lose listeners. Additional note: if the show isn’t pronouncing Serac in a hard French accent, you don’t need to either. I’m very nervous about Ashley jumping into the movie podcast, I really don’t want to drop the whole network because of one new self indulgent contributor.

Fantastic podcast. The hosts really delve deep into possible theories, as well as doing a good job recapping what we saw on the show , and what somethings might mean. I enjoy and anticipate with glee every new episode.

These guys know what they are talking about. They get deep in the themes and theories. Love it!

I do enjoy the back and forth and informative take but the whole thing is too contrived almost to the point of the hosts reading from scripts.

Real talk. I always liked Big D (Good evening!) and especially Gene. It still was not my favorite Westworld pod because of silly episodes and some guest hosts (and regular hosts) that just did not take it seriously and felt too fratty.. Now with the addition of Ashley schlafly the show is next level. In a way (do not take offense boys) she makes the two good hosts great. She has caused them to up their game because she is just so good, and interesting. Now that I listened to three episodes with the three new hosts the formula is set. It is done baking and the product tastes amazing. Change nothing. Do what you have to and keep this group and this quality going. Ashley made a show that was my second favorite my first.

I love these guys! Ashley is a welcome addition and I love her fresh insights ever since the pre-season 3 podcasts! There are plenty of podcasts out there for Westworld, but these guys bring a unique spectrum of life experiences that cast a satisfying light on a seemingly dark show. I’m already all in for season 3, and I can’t wait for our journey and analysis!

So first of all let me say I haven’t heard your podcast on West world I’ve heard your other shows and I am so here for it, my name is (or go by), N8 if you remember me from another ratings on a Apple podcast before. So in saying so I’m not sure if I’m going to repeat some thing that you’ve said before but here goes my theory after watching Season three episode one I believe the entire world are A.I.,And each of them have different levels that they’re on but none of them are fully aware that they are A.I. . Now there is Westworld where there is a man in who is creating a fantasy place “ ult reality” where “ humans”, can live out their deep dark fantasies in an reality where there is moderating and recording their actions to level them up to become closer Senti and being humans/like,. And then on top of that there’s Dolores as a creation within a creation within the creation. In this world Ford could be the closest thing to human, that we are able to witness and he is creating other creatures to feel to become, a fusion like, human/A.I., and their are different levels, and if everyone’s a form of an A.I. anyway with all of the rest of the world having decisions made for them in some way or another. But ....there may be an bigger mystery on top of that as well , so what do you think about that one , I haven’t figured out that part out yet. Thanks for another late night lol N8 Stay safe
