Walker has a very specific political view that taints his writing so far as to make me want to avoid listening. Don’t get sucked in.

It was an interesting show, but the host’s insistence on pronouncing “the” before a consonant as “thee” drove me utterly mad. You don’t pronounce “the” as THEE for emphasis; and even if that is your excuse, WHY ARE YOU EMPHASIZING EVERY OTHER WORD?? You see? He’s driven me MAD! I JUST CAN’T TAKE ANY MORE!!

I think listening made me think of the words now I can prove to myself I’m worth it think about it.!

This show in the early days is amazing. Now it’s another lefty whining. They go on and on about Elon supporting Trump when far more billionaires support the left but they totally ignore that. Can’t handle these betas complaining anymore.

I was interested in the content of the June episode about the CIA. Unfortunately, the guest (H Wilford) stumbled all over his words and it became too difficult to listen. I will try another episode.

Couldn’t get through one episode without multiple negative references to President Reagan. Garbage podcast with definite political undertones. Skip it. You’re not missing anything.

He’s just very biased. Not a republican, but man. Just makes it uncomfortable to listen to anyone so far one direction

We’re so fortunate Mr. Walker created NAPA episodes while some contemporary sources are still alive. Meticulously researched and presented. I will be reading Richard Wright as a consequence. Thank you Benjamin!

3 Stars How come the host ALWAYS sounds so astonished and horny? No matter what he’s talking about it’s like he’s saying it while he’s losing his virginity. Unnerving. Im trying to withhold judgment though cuz I can’t tell if it’s a seriously annoying affectation or if he’s got a vocal chord disease. All in all his staccato cadence is enough to make me wanna just read the transcript instead. 🤷🏼‍♂️

New listener and thoroughly enjoying the topics. Plus, Benjamin is one of a very few hosts whose voice is easy to listen to and wraps you in. I’m in.

Weird in all the right ways

One of the best podcasts ever, I donated every year to their fundraiser, then out of the blue I am required to pay a $5/month subscription to listen. I’ve listened to every episode and never once was notified this would be coming. I love Benjamin, hate to do this to such an awesome podcaster. Guess you lost a listener and supporter.

Just listened to “The Return” and basically everyone Ben knows has decided to become anti social jerks who want to no longer participate in society

i have been listening to TOE for 8 (?) years and have re-listened to each episode at least 3 times. benjamen will keep you on your toes.

There are very few podcasts that warrant repeated listens and fewer still that warrant lingering thought. This does. The deep dives, the interwoven fiction and topics covering several episodes are simply stunning. Keep up the good work.

“Its all Tump’s fault”.

Entertains, thought provoking, poignant.

I tried this podcast because of several recommendations from other podcasts that Ooo’d and Ahh’d about it. I listened and gave it a number of chances and it never failed to disappoint. The self-absorbed, often incoherent, “woke” ramblings are played off as thought provoking, enlightened and sophisticated. A woman with a heavy French accent is the announcer for an added level of sophistication. It quickly becomes pretentious and whiney with a flair for the dystopian. The storylines, even those “currently relevant”, follow the mainstream, are safe, predictable and boring.

I went to this podcast on a recommendation from the guys at the West Wing weekly podcast. It was an interesting subject matter, but I was put off consistently by the mispronunciation of nuclear as nuc-ular. Hard to take this seriously.

And has a lot of fun

This show is crazy in an amazing way. There is such little content being put out that is interesting, engaging, and that forces you to think differently about current events that this is a breath of fresh air. Keep it up, dude!

Quite different from the “usual” podcasts. Benjamin Walker has an amazingly creative mind. I don’t think every show works, at least not for me. Unfortunately, not crazy with the more and more extreme direction of the podcast.

After listening to few episodes realized it’s same America bashing crap as mainstream news.

That’s all it took. He was offended because someone put up a flag. He is misinformed and uneducated. He compared the flag to Nazi Germany because he was reading from a Jewish author...seriously. He claimed he is not anti-flag or pro-flag, while in the same breath taking offense to someone hanging a flag. Obviously, there is an agenda in this podcast. Don’t waste your time.

... For example: Read all the one-star reviews of this podcast. Then you too will be in possession of the same list of undesirables that Mr. Benjamin Walker has created this website to ensnare. These one-starers, from the so-called “people” who leave one-star reviews of Mr. Walker’s artistry are enemies of the people. It’s just so good. Everything I want from art . Really perfect : the subtle art of the sublime absurd daily performance of our world.

This is a difficult podcast to sumarize, and that is one of the reasons I love it. It is an incredible exploration of how ideas, stories, and conspiracies exist through mixing them, and creating them, and acting as if they are real.

Difficult to relate to the sentiments of the stories. Unpleasant narration style.

Walker is a unique voice. It’s not all fact, but it’s all true. The world is a weird place.

Oh please...you ever hear of “unfriend?” What a whiner...ugh. Count me O.U.T.

Has there been any thought to readdressing so of the presumptions made in this podcast? This week 12-13-19 many things that were once believed to be fact have been turned on their head. From the impeachment’s articles that list no crimes, the Inspector General report debunking several assumptions made by the people who cover the news and the vote in the UK are all examples of what we once believed to be true (quite indignantly) turning out to be false.

It’s as though you were in my head and looked deeply into the exact same things that I’m interested in: 1984, Russia, disinformation, coffee, travel, and Charlie Maynes (a friend), with the same curiosity and humor that I have.

Words can barely describe the wonder of Benjamin Walker and The Theory of Everything. Clever, funny, poignant, insightful, deep - only a few of the adjectives that can be applied. May you go far, Mr. Walker.

I was guided. And it reassured me: Keep this subscription.

If you enjoy the disjointed ramblings of an autistic narcissist. You be completely enchanted with this podcast. If you don’t. Run away, run far far away.

I was shocked that Benjamin is so assured of the hatred and prejudice of his listeners that he told them that he wanted to give the evil eye to a person for wearing a “make America great again” hat; and that he planned to shout the f word at the wearer and call him a coward. Furthermore his deep state episode had nothing in it about any deep state, not even the deep state of the Russia person of whom he made the subject of the episode. Wow, content-free.

I like this podcast a lot but it only produces one episode a month (maybe it’s a glitch and I’m not getting all of them?)? That’s pretty lame. No offense, it’s not THAT good. SYSK does 2 per week and they are all at least as good if not better than any of these.

This podcast, with its mix of truth and fiction, leaves me with questions, questions that are intriguing enough to try to answer on my own. Keep on keeping on ToE crew!

Benjamin challenges you to think outside the box within the box and even the next more hidden box within. Now I keep searching and stepping back to consider if I will ever be outside of all boxes 🧐

Had this on my list of podcasts to check out for a while and was severely disappointed. Takes listener through seemingly legitimate analysis only to conclude vaguely with an “I guess it was just me.” If you’re going to argue something or prevent evidence on an interesting topic then make a stand. Don’t just waste the listener’s time with your ramblings.

The content of the podcast is entertaining sometimes. Other times it’s confusing and doesn’t make any sense. Add to that the fact that apparently the podcast throws in stories that are complete lies and you get a mess. I don’t have the time to figure out what is truth or what is lie in a podcast. I don’t want to be fed lies that are passed off as truth so that the creator can do some idiotic exploration of podcasting space. What’s the use of telling fake stories and trying to pass them off as truth? Finally, the guys voice is annoying. Sorry guy, it just is. Maybe you should spend more time looking up interesting stories and leave the actual hosting of the podcast to a person with a more pleasing voice.
