Nopenopenope13New fave!Started listening to this on a recommendation from Gen Why - so glad I did, the science is fascinating and the hosts are very respectful and empathetic. Can’t wait for the next episode to drop.

AmberJ18Wow. Just Wow.I have listening to true crime for years now and read even longer. I’m very picky with podcasts though and so finding new podcasts that I can listen to and actually learn and keep my attention has become slim. I’ve stuck to my usual podcasts for the last few years and one of them mentioned another podcast which I listened to all the way thru and then you were spotlighted and I found you! The amount of knowledge and the ability to not only talk to us on what I feel is almost a one on one basis is amazing. I love how well rounded every show is. And the nonjudgment that is advised. I drive an hour to and from work. Y’all banter with each other quite well while still giving out facts. Absolutely love and impressed with your show. Keep it up!

dribee100Coincidentally Came Across And I Love ItDuring this small winter break I’m taking a short class for college for Forensic Psychology. On an assignment, we were given a list of I think about 7 different podcast episodes that we could choose from to listen to for the assignment and I chose this one because it sounded the most interesting to me and I was not disappointed. At first I was dreading having such a long episode to listen to for homework but it went by so quickly because everything they said was so interesting! As soon as the episode was done, I started following so I could listen on my own time. I’ve been looking for podcasts to listen to and this is definitely the one. It’s so educational and interesting. I’m not sure if I want to go into forensic psychology specifically but it’s on my list of considerations as I go through my bachelors in psychology. Thank you for what you do and giving me something entertaining and still educational and helpful for me to listen to!!

JRO 1951Great showI love love love this show. As a licensed psychologist in California and a 40 year veteran of mental health. I look forward to their podcast for its excellent information that is well researched and presented in a very entertaining manner. I only wish that I could claim continuing education credits for listening. Keep up the good work.

@Odd_FaithIf you’re not listening to this podcast, do yourself a favor… *Follow*There are never enough episodes in a day… Dr. Scott & Dr. Shiloh have all the sass and all the knowledge. Truly a gem! Never stop podcasting!
-
elainasewsgreatVery educationalThis one is legit! I love leaning about this subject and they are fun and educational. Great work guys!

HippieProfessorAds make it painfulAds are necessary - yours now start in the middle of one of Dr. Scott or Dr. Shiloh’s sentences. The ad breaks you lead into never have ads. The doctors’ voices are lovely and the phrasing comfortable to listen to, until someone jumps in yelling about where I could find a new sofa. I like this podcast enough to mention it because I can tell this isn’t how you wanted your content shared. The show itself is absolutely brilliant.
-
susannjBullyingI was sadly disappointed by this episode and the docs discussion. As a victim of bullying in elementary, middle and high school your observations on bullying were not insightful. And I wax particularly shocked to hear that Dr Shyler had not experienced any bullying ever. If you witnessed bullying you were a victim even when you chose not to protect the victim. This podcast is disappointing me lately and I think it’s because their heart is no longer in it. IMHO

SugarBeeeeeI love love love this podcast!!!I love your upfront and snarky point of view. You are respectful but unwillingness to beat around the bush about touchy subjects. Your knowledge and professional background are interesting and insightful. I also love your dynamic together. Keep it up!!

X13 b45 8никоим образомKind of a normie Warren Commission version of Kennedy (acted alone) assassin Oswald (a veteran and fluent Russian speaker and defector to USSR ) only to return without any debriefing. Russian is such an easy language to speak even a Radar Grunt learned it. I’m not a conspiracy nut, but I think we all need the promised declassification of the files to demystify the anomalous descriptions of events.

My4meaniesLove your perspective and knowledgeLong time listener, past 5 star review. Bob is a click sensation not serious podcaster. Follows feeds /any case for clicks and can’t be considered seriously. Your podcast hast not always aligned with my thoughts (untrained), but always seemed objective , I learned a lot. He is the opposite his way or no way, and way conspiracy theorists heavy.

SfellerLoud and awkwardly times commercialsI love this podcast so far. I’m only on episode 10 and I love the dynamic of the two hosts and the way they bring their own expertise to each topic is excellent. My only criticism is the commercials. They are very awkwardly timed. A commercial will always start during mid sentence or sometimes mid word. They are also much louder than the volume of the show itself. If you are listening with headphones you can understand why this could be jarring. I have a setting on my phone that tells me when the volume in my headphones could be damaging to my hearing and it always goes off when commercials play! That’s my only criticism. Please fix this.
-
JeffmarkreA true contributionThis podcast has the elements of storytelling, science and personal introspective that entertains and informs. I really appreciate these fine folks sharing their knowledge. I also appreciate how respectful they are to Veterans and first responders. Thank you both!
-
AbitaboutmeNot my favoriteHalf of the podcast has nothing to do with the topic. Or it it gets super clinical. I don’t care what the sub sub sub clinical diagnosis is. It gets really boring.
-
Aio1972Good in depth look at crimesThis podcast goes into so much more depth than your average true crime show. Thanks both
-
ChefGoyoSovereign citizen only half the story…I just listened to both of the sovereign citizen movement episodes. The hosts are really informative and well spoken. I think they did a good job, but they only exposed one side and the episodes were misleading in that the sovereign citizen movement didn’t start with white nationalists, it started with “the moorish” sovereign citizen movement. Which also is violent and scary. It would’ve been nice to hear about that as well. I’m hoping that they are just misinformed and didn’t leave that out for PC purposes.
-
ENVIANYC🤫Love the content, however, I’ve always thought there is way to much irrelevant chit chat during the beginning of the podcast. As a listener, I’m only clicking on the podcast for the advertised content, not to hear about the personal lives or commentary on unrelated topics.
-
mightyqwinPro law enforcement bias, no insightI was really interested in this podcast because it presents itself as getting to the bigger themes of specific offenses, rather than focusing on a particular story, but this is pro-prosecution garbage. And there’s so little actual analysis of the psychology parts of the show that their descriptor feels misleading.
-
QueenChristine66Cannot get enough of this podcastThis type of psychology is fascinating and these two professionals are just that - professional and so knowledgeable. This podcast makes me use my brain and I LOVE IT.

crich1234Above avgFirst ep I watched lotta technical problems. Hopefully the next will be better

TheonlyzayinFair, informative, entertainingThis podcast takes a different look a crime. Looks at the psychology of the crime/criminal, rather than your typical who did it and why. However what I REALLY like about this podcast is how fair they are when talking about religious communities. They have a few episodes where they call out the problems and crimes that happen in the Christian, Catholic, Muslim, (etc )communities without mocking, generalizing, or being disrespectful. It’s definitely something that needs to be talked about more but they do it in a way that is still respectful of other people’s beliefs. Really appreciate that.

CINJSGreat PodcastI love this podcast. I have listened to it for a few years now, and I love it. Here’s why: 1. Dr Scott and Dr Shiloh are well educated, and actually know what they are talking about. Not only because they went to school to earn their doctorates, but because they work/ed in the areas in which they discuss, and they do their homework on issues they don’t know about before they speak on it. (This seems to be rare in the true crime podverse) 2. The Drs are so kind. They have compassion for victims, and even for perpetrators when warranted. 3. The Drs are clear to differentiate between their personal and professional opinions. There is a difference. 4. The Drs are not trying to become famous, they truly care about educating people and themselves through their work on the podcast. 5. You can tell they really like and respect one another, and their banter with one another is adorable. 6. They bring truly unique views to cases you may think you know everything there is to know about it. 7. They are not salacious or clickbaity. They dive deep. 8. There voices are very nice to listen to. I have adhd and sometimes get distracted by particular voices, or have a hard time listening to them. Dr Shiloh and Dr Scott have wonderfully soothing voices. Dr Scott and Dr Shiloh, I love you both. Please keep doing what you are doing. You have taught me so much about myself, I truly thank you for your work.

Du KidsAddicted to this podcast (in a healthy way)Being an LA resident, I love the discussions about local history and iconic places (the 110 freeway on ramps are indeed harrowing!), but it's also a fascinating exploration of psychological topics, true events and the people involved. The hosts are so fun to listen to and learn from. Highly recommend for anyone interested in all things true crime with a focus on "the why."

Sarah CG.My absolute favorite showI’m listening to this for the second time because I love it so much. As a therapist, this show is so informative and I feel like I’m constantly learning something new. Dr. Scott is constantly making me LOL. And I feel like I’m sitting there laughing with them!

rebelrebelgirlLove this podcast!I am obsessed with this podcast! I love the episodes, the old Hollywood and the clinical episodes. I am a forensic psychology major and I feel that this podcast is the chefs kiss of podcasts. I also enjoy the fact that Dr. Shiloh and Dr. Scott have the experience in the field and the episodes reflect their knowledge and experience.
-
MelMelMel+DisappointingAs a mental health professional, I expected much more from this podcast. It needs more actual analysis & much less unrelated, mind numbing tangents. UGH.
-
cmrk91016Binge WorthyI found out about this podcast while listening to another true crime podcast. I started at the first episode and have not been listening to any other podcasts in a few months. I love the long episodes and would listen even if each episode was 2-3 hours. I also enjoy the random tangents and funny stories from your “real life”. There was one episode where Dr. Scott had just moved and was talking about the crows he was making friends with. He mentioned making a crow army and little things like that just brighten my day. He also said on the episode that no one wants to hear about that but I do. I think are you are both very intelligent and experts in your field but you still seem very approachable which I love. I’m currently somewhere in the 150s and I hope you keep up with the podcast for many more years.
-
jasdlawGood GraceI really appreciate the way you covered this case. The documentary drove me nuts, I was screaming at the TV constantly.
-
mwilloughGreat hosts and so much insightI love and look forward to every new episode of this show. Both hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and offer deep insight into some incredibly difficult issues while bringing a friendly and joyful affect. It feels like have a good conversation with some very smart friends.
-
Celine379Excellent!I absolutely LOVE this show! My favorite episodes are the ones about specific subjects, like incels, paraphilias… So much research is summarized in a way that is insightful, and easy to understand. The relationship between the hosts makes you feel like you are part of their friends group. I also truly enjoy discovering true crime documentaries that they review. It is the podcast I look forward to every week!
-
SmilymeFantasticDr. Scott and Dr. Shiloh bring their professional knowledge and have a conversation as friends. I learn something and I thoroughly enjoy it.
-
Nettie0802Less Insightful Than ExpectedMaybe I listened to “lighter” episodes, but I expected more insight given that the hosts are mental health professionals. Starting episodes with over five minutes in ads really made this not worth a regular listen for me.
-
HighSocietyMurdersAreSoExtraYo, go straight to the pointBetween the 5 mins of ads at the intro, to the useless banter, where is the story? 36 minute episode took 12 mins to start the story. Never again will bother with this podcast
-
RW"00"0000000000OutstandingFound this podcast from listening to an episode from the LISK podcast. Love what I’ve listened to so far! Amazed by the knowledge these two possess- fascinating to listen to. Update- Have continued to listen to this podcast and continue to love it!! Continually enthralled by the discussions in each episode- so fascinating!! I love the clinical aspect- so interesting to hear the perspective of two people with so much knowledge and experience in this field.
-
TryingtoremainafanAnother Ghost Murder TrialHey guys you covered the Greenbrier ghost case BUT you didn’t mention the Rebecca Cornell case which involved TESTIMONY from a ghost —a real murder case that took place in the US in New England—so the greenbrier actually isn’t the only one!! Maybe you could add this one to your content:)
-
bayarearx.Absolutely one of the best podcasts out there! This podcast is a must listen each week. Look forward to all the insights these 2 bring to each conversation.
-
Happy2Lose20No longer listeningWhen I first came across this podcast I found the topic matter interesting but as I’ve continued listening I’ve noticed something about the hosts that I cannot get past. There is an undertone of elitism and a know it all nature coming from both of the hosts. There is so much laughter and joking around about anything they disagree with that it comes across as unprofessional and not entertaining. If you’re going to be a professional in your field then carry that into your public assessment of often very serious matters.
-
listening 00Fantastic podcastThe hosts are incredible - thorough and informative.
-
crisfGreat podcastLove it.
-
SuzzieSeaTurtleExcellent and intellectually interestingFinally a podcast that is psychologically very informative, interesting and educational. I am hooked.

dg23231927394So excited to find this podcast!!!!A podcast of two hilarious forensic psychologists with interesting careers discussing multiple fascinating topics from their unique perspectives? I love the casual format and how adorable the hosts are together!
-
Tine357432Great insightThis is what I find fascinating about crime getting into the mind set of people.

Lauren Youngblood HernandezMost comfy hoodieWere you the weird kid who always wondered....why? Why do people do the things they do? Why do I think these thoughts? Why just why? Then this is the perfect podcast for you. I absolutely fell in love with the show and the Dr.'s... Their friendship and dynamic with each other adds so much to the info they are providing. It's like being taught intense psych topics by your best friends. They are both incredibly loving, smart, friendly and relatable. Listening to this show for me is like wearing my favorite comfy hoodie in the fall with a fire in the fireplace. They just make you feel so good inside❤️
-
CF15403Excellent podcastI just discovered this podcast recently, and I am so impressed! So informative, high-quality, and entertaining. Very engaging hosts. Can’t wait to keep listening!
-
CSWG EmployeeFun and informativeDr.s Shiloh and Scott do a great job explaining the psychology in their retelling of past crimes. I wish they would do just a little more research on the events they discuss, or take notes while they research. I find myself yelling at my phone sometimes trying to correct the errors. If these two weren’t so likable, I’d have gotten too annoyed and stopped listening. But they really are so likable…. It’s like listening to that friend talk who doesn’t quite have the story right, but it’s ok because it’s so fun hanging out with them.
-
CaliDave9Great show, but too many pointless commercialsThis podcast is very interesting, but there are way too many useless commercials throughout.
-
CRR1988COPAGANDA feat. a Disney Adult and an ex-copIt’s bad enough how much true crime media is just people unquestionably parroting law enforcement narratives. Now we have to hear from these supposedly impartial, third-party forensics professionals who are nothing more than just extensions of law enforcement. I can’t imagine going into a field like mental health and only using my expertise to betray my clients. Law enforcement doesn’t need any more help abusing the people they are meant to protect. What frustrates me the most about this podcast is their complete unwillingness to engage with the reality of American law enforcement. Cops and the forensics professionals who enable them are NOT on a quest for truth…they are on a quest for a clearance rating. Even if there are individuals within the system on the quest for truth, the system itself is uninterested in anything other than a clearance rating.

boygrrlMy favorite.Do you love psychology? Are you fascinated by deviant behavior? Wanna learn more about the science that explains deviant behaviors? This is the show!!! I have learned so much from Dr. Scott and Dr. Shiloh. They not only tirelessly research for each episode, they are out there apply their knowledge in the professional world. They also bring in experts to discuss topics. They are sensitive, thought provoking and curious when discussing issues. Also, I have never experienced anyone else who are so dedicated to their fans. They respond to emails, plan interactive live events, and send amazing goodies for the patreons. Do I know Dr. Scott and Dr. Shiloh personally? No. But do I think they are genuine and and authentic in pursuing truth to bring more light to the world? 100%.
-
mundaeMSYou Should Listen To This PodcastI love this podcast and being a Patreon member! Dr. Shiloh and Dr. Scott always bring well rounded perspectives to the cases they discus. They also have all their resources listed and when I reached out via DM asking about an episode Dr Shiloh sent me additional resources. They’re just cool people.
