    Geology Hot Spot
I’m a fan of Nick’s teaching. I retired as a buyer with a Fortune 200 company and started collecting rocks as a hobby. I became interested in researching what I was collecting. I found Nick about a year ago and I’ve been watching his YouTube channel and listening to his Podcasts. After a year of listening and at 68 years old I feel like I have a college 101 understanding or better. I’m now able to identify most of the rocks in my collection. Most of all, Nick has created a wonderful community of non political like minded geology brothers and sisters. Nick is a great story teller and he always makes me laugh. What is that worth to me? It’s priceless.

    Timeless
I often listen to dharma talks with many different teachers and always find myself coming back to this podcast for the beautiful simplicity of the talks. I have such an appreciation for amazing teachers like Gil & Joseph as well as all the teachers- thank you!

This podcast stopped a couple years ago without notice. They really should've mentioned that they have another podcast. I didn't listen to Gil's talks from then until just today when I found them on another podcast. It's called Audio Dharma.

    Good podcast like First Things
I enjoyed the premise of the podcast, and it reminded me of First Things, another great productivity podcast which focuses on overcoming our “stinkin thinkin” to start moving forward in life.

    very good and educational
I enjoy the learning aspect and the calmness these podcasts grant me. As someone who listens to Alex Jones all day, these podcasts offer me a way of counter-balancing the stress the dasterly news of the NWO causes on my state of mind.

The best Buddhism on the web
Gil is my Buddhism e-teacher if such a thing exists. Interesting, insightful, compassionate... Even those who are not strictly interested in Buddhism can improve their life by listening to this podcast and taking in it's message. From time to time there are other speakers with more religious and mystical content, but if you are like me, that is what the fast forward button is for.

    This will change your life
Thank you for bringing this to iTunes these conversations just don't exist for me in Michigan. I've been listening to dharma talks for two years now. It was my touchstone through college and an unnecessarily hectic life. From spiritual mystics to pragmatic intellectuals there are podcasts that will lift or enlighten something you have never realized in all your inner explorations. No way could I listen to every one but I can only imagine the treasure trove of deep insights that gil and the others have shared that I look for every day.

    This is such a gift
I feel like I'm just going to be repeating what everyone's saying here, but these are wonderful. Gil is down-to-earth, very clear and easy to understand and he knows his stuff. The combination of his talks and talks of other respected figures makes this podcast more than anything I could ask for. In my opinion, the music doesn't have to be there.....but it's not hard at all to just skip it if you want (like I do). So many podcasts are either amateurish or aren't updated frequently enough; this series is updated on a very consistent basis and listening is such a joy. Thank you!
  • Clean Energy Solutions
    Awesome Podcast
I've been listening to IMC's dharma talks for over two years now. I read and listen to the dharma quite a bit and have found nothing as useful as Zencast.
  • Q.J.M.

I'm on #270, love this series. I've learned so much. All the speakers are highly intelligent, well educated and great thinkers.

    A Gift
Insight and wisdom, and shared at no monetary cost to the receiver. Thank you for providing this. May it stay as the truth that it is and avoid being converted to practice.
  • Midltn
    Awesome
I'm actually catholic but very open to all traditions. They all contain their nuggets of truth. There is always something to learn in the weekly zencast and to those who make it available I want to say thanks!
  • Phuvn

    STOP with the MUSIC!!!!'
Great series. I wish it didn't have the music. What is up with that? It would be okay if it were Krishna Das but usually it's bad disco.

    Explanation 4 an Excellent Podcast
I think Zencast is awesome and I'm not even a Buddhist. For all the haters out there: 1. Later shows ditched the music, much of which I didn't like either 2. These talks are given either just after or just before meditation sessions. So nobody in the audience wants or expects a loud, charismatic, polished speech after an hour of quiet. The teacher has a topic, they expound on it in a conversational tone, and that's it. This is great stuff to listen to on commutes, meals alone, or after your own meditations. Not so much during workouts or other busy activities. 3. Gil is sometimes irritating when he tries to tell stories 'cause he gets senior moments all the way through and forgets most of the details. But everything else he says is clear and wise from a lifetime of practice. Listen patiently and you will be quietly amused, entertained, educated and, if not Enlightened then at least elevated.

    Such comfort
My mom passed away in 08 and I never knew grief on such an horrific level. She was my best friend. A while later my youngest son move out to be on his own. The empty nest was another loss. The iPhone brought me to Zencast and the voice of Gil. What a gift. I have 143 podcasts that I listen to over and over again. One day I'll visit Redwood City just to experience this in person...and Spirit Rock as well. Thank you Gill, and the other speakers for the gifts you share. The dharma talks have changed my life. I'm so glad these talks are here. Have been using these talks for a couple of years now. Great for those mildly interested in Buddhism but also for anyone interested in improving one's self and dealing with our minds on a positive way.

Zencast helped me change my life!
At the end of 2009, I had lost my job! I was depressed & didn't know which way to turn. Thanks to investing in an iPhone, I found & listened to the podcast about suffering. I have learned so many lessons about living in the present, easing my suffering & finding happiness. Some of the pods I have listened to multiple times, others I have yet to experience! This is priceless, no amount of $ could reflect the value of zencast.

    Oration calm and clear
I have listened to 20 or so of this podcast and am inspired by the authentic humility and clarity of the various speakers. The information is rich, dynamic, well orgainzed and thoughtful. When listening, I sensed the natural and genuine humility of the speakers; the people in this podcast seem to me to have truely done their inner work and this is subtlely audible when listening deeply. I am very thankful for the gift of this podcast.
