tarynshultzI love this showI love this show so much I wish apple would let me follow it. If it wasn’t for Brooke’s email reminders I’d be in trouble. This is my all time favorite podcast but apple doesn’t care, every time a new show airs sure enough I look and it has been removed from shows I follow. Apple please fix this!

JAC thriverWonderfulI have been listening to Brooke and Ben for years and I just adore their podcast in all the forms it has taken. I’ve read all of Brooke’s books and find myself returning to them when I need a reminder to be gentle with myself. I appreciate the honesty and openness with which they discuss the topics. Give them a listen, you won’t be sorry.

hanabi718Pogpast 2.0Have loved listening to Brooke and Ben over the years and truly enjoyed where they’ve meandered. The journey and discovery of what they’re sharing along the way is truly delightful. I’m glad I still get to have new conversations in my ear with the pogpast turned plodcast!
-
LucieMieleLove this ‘plodcast’I loved the first podcast (Slow Home) and the new podcast is wonderful as well. Always thought-provoking and a breath of fresh air

MinniegreerCozy listening.I am so happy to have found this podcast! Living a thoughtful, slowed-down life has been a goal and lifestyle for me and I feel like I have found my people! Today I grabbed my knitting and listened to this great conversation about 4 day work weeks and the 1% among other things. I’m looking forward to reading The Tortoise newsletter on Substack and listening to the podcast again next month.

OKLemonadeBrooke and Ben are back!I was a devoted listener to the Slow Home Podcast and I couldn’t be happier to have the McAlarys back for their new “plodcast”, The Tortoise. The unedited format is a breath of fresh air that invites me to slow down, sit down and listen...it really feels like I am curled up having a chat with friends. I listen to a few highly-produced, polished, current-events podcasts and while those have their own value, The Tortoise is not that. It is a chance to think, and smile, and breathe!
-
lzlistenshereLong time listenerI’m one of those people in the community who will always be ready for what Brooke and Ben have to say. Thanks for popping into our ear holes! Xo

mom's struggle sometimesTransformation and healing Rebecca SullivanThis one got me. The brutally raw honesty and pain Rebecca shared about her birth experience moved me in the deepest part of my soul. Though I didn’t have physical complications I did struggle emotionally. I shared her mother pain in an ancestral way, the shared dna of mothers and motherhood. Thank youRebecca for the courage to tell your story and thank you Brook for presenting it as always with respect and understanding.

Tourist WhispererA Grateful Thank You (to both of you)My dearest Brooke & Ben, I began listening to the pog when you first started SLOW Home... After 2 seasons...I got a bit busy and lost my way. I just stopped listening. My background. In 2007 I packed up my family and moved from busy, crazy, overpopulated Southern California to the islands of Bermuda (60,000 population) I moved to Bermuda to slow down and raise my boys in a slower environment. But...a few years in things got crazy, busy...the iPhone was invented, social media was invented and has grown and taken over our lives...and (sorry all the ands) the ways of America have creeped into the islands. Fast forward to today. 2020 has hit and a friend shared one of your episodes. WOW..my old friends B&B. Boy have I missed you two. I have gone back to season 3 to catch up. Thank you both for continuing to do what you do. My 2020 has started off w a bang. I have slowed down and have been more intentional with the things that I do. “Simplicity” is my word for this year. I have focused on making all parts of my my life simple. I have gotten back to my roots of doing things that are better for me, my family and the environment. You would think that living on an island would force you to slow down. But...I feel I need to make the changes and focus on the right things. Your pogpast helps me do that. Thank you both again. If your travels every take you thru Bermuda, having a cold beer on the island coast near the water is waiting for you both (the kids can play in the Caribbean blue waters.) A grateful thank you! Keep the episodes (and books) coming. Captain Ron from SpencerIsland, Bermuda

rat_atatMy favorite podcastThis is one of the first podcasts I found and I’ve loved it since day 1. I’ve laughed, learned a TON about myself and others, and even cried. When I listen to the callers, but also to Brooke & Ben, I feel like these are my people! I’ve found them!
-
Macayla R.Listened to one episode and I’m astounded!I’m hooked. I have been looking for a feel good podcast.. and I’ve found it. So much peace to be found in this audio. A real treat. I’m excited to keep listening.

BbrolleyWonderful hosts and knowledgeable guestsI started listening to Slow Your Home about a year or so ago and have been burning through the great collection of episodes. Brooke and Ben are great hosts (and Brooke is a fantastic interviewer) who have a way of delving into big, important topics without making them feel overwhelming to the listener. This podcast has also introduced me to a lot of people and resources I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. It may sound silly, but Slow Your Home has really had a big, positive impact on my life, especially during hard times. Thank you to Brooke and Ben for all you do!
-
J. BarshopDeeply thought provoking and meaningfulI feel completely at home here - bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. Brooke’s genuine interest in her guests permeates in every interview and, as a listener, I walk away a better person after every episode. This show's an absolute must listen for anyone looking to explore their own personal & professional evolution.

LynnlockAlways makes me smile on WednesdaysI stumbled upon The Slow Home Podcast early 2018, and was a fan from my first listen. Brooke and Ben.. I love your ideas, your guests, and the way you present your material. I LOVE that you don’t spit your words out rapid-fire, and that you don’t fill your podcast with ads. I get a cozy feeling listening to your voices, and I somehow feel that you are my friends I’ve simply never met in person. Moreover, I’ve begun to see an impact that Slow Home has had in my life, in terms of becoming a more conscious, mindful soul. Rock on, Brooke and Ben. Please keep doing what you do.

emilyleyrerMy favorite AustraliansI LOVE this podcast. I hear so many great practical ways to slow down and am always so inspired after I listen. My husband listens too, and he always knows who I’m talking about when I refer to “my favorite Australians.” We came to the book signing in Chicago and loved hearing Brooke and Ben in person. When I saw Brooke across the store I got nervous, I was star struck. I’ve read destination simple and will be reading it again to help with some new rhythms for 2019. I’m currently reading “Slow” and loving every page so far. You guys are amazing! Keep up the great work, you truly are changing lives. ♥️

4amazingsoulsSlow, diverse, non-judgyI really am loving Brooke and Ben’s Slow Home Podcast. They have some great diverse content and always present it in a non-judgy way. I will put this on while having dinner with my girls. It is soothing and almost always a great conversation starter.

SPO611It changed my life! The best podcast ever from the first episode to the last. I now truly live an intentional life and I have Brooke and Ben to thank for that.
-
JoeAppStoreReviewsMakes my dayI started listening to Slow Your Home in February 2018 and have gone through the entire archive and listened to pretty much every episode. I go on a lot of walks and always put on an episode when I do so. The podcast has helped me grow a lot as a person and has introduced me to lots of people and concepts that I wouldn’t have heard about without it. Thank you Brooke and Ben!
-
LollipoppaMy favorite podcastBrooke is always down to earth and gracious, whether she is chatting with her husband Ben or interviewing her (always well chosen) guests. I am new to the concept of slow living, and this podcast always keeps an understanding, positive and practical perspective and never makes me feel like I’m not doing enough to simplify my life.

enfunkLove this show!Brooke and Ben have such a wonderful way about them. I love this podcast and hearing from their hearts about what they are learning about living life mindfully and beautifully! They have inspired me to make mindful changes in my own life.

M. BeverageA LifesaverI have been striving to simplify my life in order to prioritize the things that really matter for years, and this podcast gives me inspiration and encouragement to continue in that quest. Brooke and Ben are so down-to-earth and realistic about their approach to life. Unlike some other podcasts about minimalism and simple living, this podcast is about so much more than decluttering — it is about shifting your priorities so you can lead a happier and healthier life. Thanks, Brooke and Ben, for all you do!

ButtonwoodCottageFavorite Thing I'm Listening ToI love Brook's podcast. I started listening in December this year and now I've gone back and started revising all the archives. This podcast is helping me to make changes in my life to slow down and simplify and also gives me hope that I can make big lasting changes.
-
CSYoderA favorite podcastThis is one of my top favorite podcasts, if not THE top. I have grown so much since I started listening to Brooke and Ben more than a year ago. The information and the inspiration I get here have changed my life. Thank you B&B for sharing your journeys and thoughts in such real and beautiful ways. The world is better because of you and this podcast!

Colshannon16Inspiring and ComfortingBrooke and Ben are so warm and inviting. Thanks to them I learned about the slow home movement and have put into practice many of their practices and lifestyle choices. Even a corporate attorney with an insane work schedule finds so much solace and familiarity in what Brooke speaks too. All are welcome in her movement, which is incredibly delightful as a listener. She doesn't advise you quit your job and turn your life upside down but start where you are, making simple changes and observations that create huge impacts. Thanks Brooke and Ben! Brooke, your eulogy and poem about the time is now continually inspire me.
-
Noon anEntertaining, engaging and 100% worthwhileBrooke and Ben have a wonderful dynamic as co-hosts and I enjoy the authenticity of their conversations, both with each other and with their wide variety of knowledgeable guests. Brooke's interview style is informal and relatable- it's not uncommon for her to crack a great joke or dig into a personal topic with heart, thought and a tone and affect that can put both interviewees and listeners at ease. A much-needed podcast in a world that keeps looking for bigger, faster and more.
-
Bab422My absolute favorite podcast everI've loved finding this podcast. Brooke and Ben are witty and charming. I love listening to their hilarious banter. I adore Brooke and enjoy both her approach to life and interviewing style. She can balance keeping it light but very insightful. Added bonus are their Australian accents. The previous reviewers comments on it being too slow I completely disagree with and also find so ironic. I've taken away so much from this podcast to add to my own life. I really love it!! Thank you for sharing this with all of us!

katiebritishRefreshing and RealBrooke is blazing the trail for this genre of podcast and she's doing it at her own measured pace. Her gentle, patient and unhurried way of speaking appeals to me greatly. I love her grounded tone and well structured, intelligent questions that she puts forward to her guests, plus I enjoy how she allows them to take their time to answer without interruption. She and her husband are a delight to listen to. Ben is extremely funny and they make a great duo. Brooke's show is insightful and has great interviews on a number of topics which I am finding speak very true to my heart. I just bought her book and I wish nothing but success and happiness to her and her family. Keep up the good work Brooke!
-
aknee210Thought-provoking and funBrooke and Ben are so fun to listen to -- they bring joy into their work, which is full of amazing, life-changing advice. I didn't know the slow living community existed prior to finding this podcast, and it has really changed my outlook on life. Thank you!
-
jackie_108An absolute MUST - thought-provoking and engagingThis podcast is absolute perfection. Even if you aren't a self-help or slow-living enthusiast, I encourage you to give it a listen - same for all of the podcasts under the Jackrabbit.FM family. The content is always relevant, relatable, informative, well-communicated, insightful and really thought-provoking - each episode will spark ideas and get your wheels turning. Even better, the delivery and vocal tone is always so pleasant and never sounds insincere or forced. The simple act of listening makes me slow down and relax, which makes absorbing the content even easier. Huge thanks to Brooke for creating this and her other podcasts!
-
TiffBAAMakes me happyI love this podcast, I am slowly changing the direction and methods of living my life and Brooke and Ben help me remember what and why I am changing. Thanks guys!

-
StephanieMayPalmerExcellent Poggie!I've been listening for well over a year now and love my time with Brooke & Ben. My only minor complaint is that the interviews sometimes focus too much on parenting or children, but that's my own issue, as I'm childless and uninterested in parenthood.
-
sweet oneMy favorite! This podcast, and most of what they put out via Jackrabbit , is the best I've come by in years. Tangible ways to live more intentionally and embrace what really matters.
-

CEF6Highlight of my weekI only stumbled upon this podcast a month or so ago... After "binge listening" to many of the episodes, Brooke and Ben feel like old friends. They are the sweetest couple and I love how they interact and laugh together. They give practical tips and encouragement for slow living. They are honest about their struggles and journey. I cannot wait for Brooke's book to be avilable in the US!
-
CMDJ9LoveLove Brooke's interviews.

DietradeeAbsolutely In Lovethank you for this… i just started listening yesterday, and already my mind is buzzing with SO MUCH… i may have to slow down ;] my listening!
-
Tess V. FoliageLove listening while I work! The Slow Home Podcast is a favorite of mine. Sometimes getting enough sleep, prioritizing my family and hobbies and making handcrafted products go against mainstream 'more is more' culture. Having Brooke whisper in my ear that it's okay to go slow has been so nice. Keep it up!
-
ChattingwithChattonI found my home!I have been on the hunt for a podcast that makes me think, smile, and appreciate life. I have finally found it, I am home! I have laughed at every episode and every episode has made me think about little (but not easy) changes that I can make to my life and with my family. I love the conversation between Brooke and her husband, their relationship alone makes me smile and reminds me of my husband and I. I have only started listen but am trying to get through all of the episodes now, I love the podcast! Thank you so much! My search is over!!
-
OneCandaceThe best person to learn from is a learnerI love this podcast. I listen to several different minimalist and slow living podcasts and I think this is my favorite one. I appreciate that her approach to life is someone who is always learning. Her openness to new ideas and approaches, her willingness to do experiments and to learn from the wonderful guests on her show is amazing. It keeps her podcast from being preachy and always enjoyable to listen to. I look forward to it every week.
-
8282polskyRelaxing and InformativeI like the pace of the podcasts…it’s great to have a solid podcast without frenetic music, advertisements, and screaming hosts. My favorite shows are when Brooke brings in outside guests to interview! Lots to learn from how other people live their lives. I also find it interesting when Brooke and Ben embark on a monthly challenge. It can ramble on sometimes, but I don’t mind that :) Keep up the good work!
-
Suea626Simple living, Aussie styleI just started listening to this podcast this morning and love Brooke’s Australian accent and wisdom. My journey is very different from hers, but her ideas and encouragement apply to me. I look forward to many happy hours of listening.
